Last 6 years there ain’t been no twists and turns, it’s either Liverpool and City winning every game out the last 10/15 mainly City and Liverpool once running away with it. Only time it did not happen is when we drew with City and Tottenham and they drew with someone else. We need to win every game now and claw back to goal difference
Recent history will tell you that there has been no twists and turns. Also long term history will tell you that Liverpool will not win the league when they've been in a tight race. History is totally against us, that's a fact. I don't want to be negative, but I can't ignore the facts. If I did then I'd be borderline delusional.

Reason you could argue we look more balanced without Salah is because he doesn't press or defend anymore, this is another reason why our right hand side is always targeted by opposition - not only do we usually invert from that side but our RW doesn't track back either. Besides that there isn't anything you can say about his attacking output, its arguably best in the world.
The Mo slander is crazy though, calling him world class to washed because we didnt win one game. If Diaz played a better pass he was in and could of scored, scored a pen, did the one two with Harvey to win the pen and was free so many times in the box to have a shot at goal, but Robbo shot as did Bradley as the final pass/decision lacked IQ from so many. He could of easily had a hatrick and an assist if Diaz shot instead of passing to Nunez. The main reason we didn't win that game was the Quansah mistake, which changed the momentum of the game, his slander is crazy as well btw.

Yeah, I can't believe the Salah hate! The guy has 209 goals in 7 seasons, just one away from a 30 goal a season average. I have never seen a Liverpool player in my lifetime anywhere near those numbers.
Klopp's comment about trophies and relationships was "Other managers collect trophies, I collect relationships." I genuinely think he was just saying that what he'll remember most from his time at the club was the relationships he made with all the players/staff/fans. His aim is always to win trophies, he never said otherwise or that he didn't prioritise them - I don't think it's possible to win anything in this league, especially against this City side, without being absolutely 100% driven to win. We're talking like he didn't win anything, he pretty much won everything, but to *him* (in the context of him leaving) the relationships mean the most. That's just how I took it anyway.
i know our tactic has been setting up expansive to invite teams onto us so we can catch them on the transition but from this point on, we need to look to more control in games and the last 20 mins we bring in the chaos with the rotation. We need to go back to basics defensively and not give so many chances away

Enjoyed the chat boys👋 I couldn't help but laugh along w Matt regards that quote from Jurgen. I caught the interview & it was more of a nostalgic look on his time @ the club. But of course, it's what Jurgen has been in his career... just a guy who's NOT a serial winner. His CV of winning isn't on the level of other gaffers we've seen. For me this is what "bothers" me about Jurgen, that he's really not Hungry/Relentless like Pep about winning. And u don't have to be unlikeable to win stuff Drift. If u can't win 2 of any title, it's not quite a legacy that can be lauded really - at this level anyway. I've said it would be a shame if JK walks out w just the lone Prem title. For him & those players he assembled together.
Man U game was example of how we're not quite sharpened in our pursuit. The guys upfront cost us the game/3pts & I hope Jurgen can guide this group down this hot run-in bcz it's gonna take some of that magic from him to know what players to play when. It's a new group but HE HAS to weave them in & out to cross finish line. You can see guys like Dom/Diaz aren't always in tune w the ball movement required by the team & Salah truly doesn't have MAGIC left to be decisive & win games by himself. The stakes are high so some of these expectations on players are nuts but that's the situation down the stretch..SO CAN WE DELIVER??
I disagree that we look better without Salah. Look at the teams we played against in that time: Burnley, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Nottingham, Luton, Southampton and Arsenal. 1 good team there and when we played them, they smoked us.
Since Salah came back, we've had much harder games: Brighton, Brentford, City, United, Sheffield, Sparta. 2 bad teams and the rest we struggle against. Yet in that time, we've created 16.97xG. Statiscally, we create loads but we don't put them away. That isn't all Salah's fault.
Besides, why isn't it blamed on Jota being injured? Nunez can't score against a top 10 team and Diaz has been very wasteful himself. Gakpo's form took a nosedive. Is that on Salah? Yes, Salah hasn't been good but the other guys have all had their issues before that anyway
I think the reason we’re so wasteful is due to instruction. In an interview, Joe Gomez was asked why he was shooting more recently. He replied by saying he was told by the coaches to ‘finish the attack’. If you look at the stats, I think we have way more shots than anyone else in the league. When we get into certain positions or make certain movements our players are just shooting regardless of who it is on the ball. That’s why you’re seeing way more shots from outside the box. The likes of quansah, Bradley and even Gomez having shots. We’re a volume team. It’s a bit like a boxer being a ‘volume puncher’. The idea being that we’re not going to focus on quality of shots or player or anything like that. We’re just going to have SO MANY that eventually some of them go in. If 1 in 20 shots go in and we have 40 shots. We’re 2-0 up. We’re a spray and pray AK47 machine gun. Rather than a sniper rifle.
i would play Salah against Atlanta but not palace. Leave him on the bench till the last 25mins against palace and he will turn it up a level out of frustration
Drift and Matt I agree with Cal you guys can't say arsenal and City where favourites first of all City are behind us on points so I'm not even worried about them
We've never come out of a close race on top. I think it is klopps one weakness, football is too emotional. Arteta and Pep see it as a science and it has the edge in these tight races
Give Jota the centre forward role ahead of Nunez, Sell Diaz for 70m, and use our own money on top to get Leao from Milan. Buy a world-class CDM, and play him with Trent and Mac Allister in midfield, buy Ait Nouri as a long-term successor to Robertson, Goncalo Inacio from Sporting as a Matip replacement. And just get rid of Thiago and get him off the books who's was eating up 200k+ p/w.

Callum bro big up for being positive and still believing. I mean seriously guys all three teams have still to play seven games, not two, not one, SEVEN. Imagine if our players let their heads down with 7 games to go and only being behind in goal difference! We’d never win anything with that mindset. Drif and Matt get behind the team and never give up. Remember that Barca game? Liverpool FC DNA is to fight till the end. And even if we don’t win the league, at least we fought till the end even tho we were supposed to go for Top 4 this season with a new midfield and forwards in the process of building a new team. YNWA

- Manu, @ManU FA Cup, @ManU
- CIteh ( w an assist to VAR for citeh )
- ARS ( w an assist to VAR for Ars)
That's just VERY bad luck folks. If we lack finish against ANY other teams and drop those same points to lower sides BUT ... Win the 5 games above as we should have instead ...
We are A) still in the FA Cup plus B) 1 up on Assna and 2 up on Citeh ( they both have 1 point less) in the league

Don't think we have played to our potential this season and feel that being in a title race is bit kind to us. Many games we still start slow and aren't clinical when we get chances.. My eye test for majority of season tells me arsenal have been the best side. Man City haven't played to their potential niether. I know we will and capable of dropping more points than the other 2 in the run in

You can train on scenarios as much as u want but if someone don’t have common sense in a match when to pass and shoot it’s unacceptable. Some of the decision making and chances missed id be vex playing down the marshes

People will call me negative, I don't care. I look at the facts, and the fact is that history is against us. We always come out just short. That is why I don't think we'll win the league. I just can't convince myself that things will be different this time, plus I'm just tired of the keep the faith mindset. I'm okay with that mindset when it comes to the UCL as that competition is different for us, but with the league it's like we're under an unbreakable curse.

We play a certain style that no one else plays and doesn't always look pretty. So cannot be directly compared... The issue is our style has createx enough chances to get us where we are +a league cup problem is forwards have been sloppy with a lack of finishing... Its not over yet need to keep being positive
