As someone who is from Mexico, I can not express how amazing your artwork, cultural usage and overall how amazing this region is. I don’t think I want GameFreak to ever make a Mexico region because I don’t think it’ll ever be as cool as yours. ok, hear me out, i loved the design of cawmadame, and i was wondering, could you make an evololution of honchcrow, but make it like a gothic baraoness, with a long flowing black gown with intricate victorian designs, and just make it like royalty, honchcrow is my fav and ive always wanted to see it happen, i think ive come up with a name, Victonchcrow

As a Latin american i can't express how good ,natural and pleasant are the integration of our culture into your pokedex I don't even know how Game Freak don't scout this kind of consistent designers
Probably because Nintendo or any other corporation just sees fans or very talented artists as consumers and that's it....If these people were employed in their company that's one thing. But again, considering their headquarters is in Japan....Mmmmmm Japan and China do not like foreigners that much compared to other countries around the world. So for the American and European HQs, they absolutely would love it. But Japan and Asia countries on the other hand, not so much.

As a half-Mexican man, I just wanted to say that your Peroxotal design is absolutely perfect both from a cultural and an artistic perspective. Your design isn't too goofy at all. It looks intimidating and majestic. The way you rendered the tongue, the face, and the "jewelry" around its neck shows a deep understanding and appreciation of Aztec culture and art. It really feels like you've captured the soul of the Aztec warrior culture in one Pokemon. Well done with the entire region.

This has been perhaps the greatest fan region I’ve been able to see the process of creation. Each Pokémon has a very distinct personality and wonderful design, and I’m glad you put lots of time and effort into it, cause it really payed off.

In all seriousness though this region is probably the best Pokemon Fakemon projects I've ever seen and I really enjoyed watching this video while typing up the timestamps for each pokemon. I wish I could've been a part of creating this masterpiece but I had not knew this existed during the making of it. I wish you luck @Subjectively in making more amazing fakemon regions like this beautiful one (also I Love how much this is inspired by Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The Mazah region has been such an amazing project to watch form these past few years, and though it's bittersweet to see it end, it's been such a fun journey throughout. This is the best fakémon region by far in just about every aspect, and I expect the community to keep going strong for years to come.

I don’t mind that Bathygigas isn’t humanoid at all. I think that for a lot of people, especially introverts like myself who aren’t great with people, it feels a lot more right to have an animal by their side instead of a human. I feel more comfortable around animals than humans, and I’d also argue that forming a close bond with a pet could be a lot stronger and more personal than forming a bond with another human. I love all the Pokémon you’ve created, and thought it’s sad to see the Maza region come to an end, I’m so glad that I could follow it the entire way. Thank you Jack 🐋

All of these designs are absolutely impressive. Not only did you create an entire pokemon region, but you also documented your progress in an interactive, creative, and educational way! I cannot express how much I've truly learned from this pokemon journey.
Also, out of all of the Mazah pokemon, Humipummel is my favorite. There is no pokemon more iconic than Humipummel ❤❤
I’ll always hold a special spot in my heart for Quetzalil’s line of evolution, being fortunate that some of my takes on the design were used to help in their initial redesign many moons ago
I’m actually glad that Jack has started using facecam more in their videos now. You can tell how genuinely invested in and happy he is about the Mazah region.
I only just joined the dev team earlier this year, but I've been following this project for years. Thank you and the rest of the Subjectively crew for all of these wonderful designs and concepts! I wish you success and happiness in the future.
I love this so much. The designs are solid, there isn't a design I don't like, at *worst* I'm neutral toward it. The thing that I think really makes this pokedex so strong is how strongly themed around its country of origin is. They feel cohesive. They feel like they inhabit the same environment. Nothing feels *random*. Its so great.
Anyways, thank you so much for all the years of this and looking forward to your next big project.
It feels bittersweet to see this series come to an end, I’ve been following this project since the route 1 pokemon video came out and I love how much time and care was put into all of these videos. I look forward to seeing the fangame finished and the content you’ll make in the future
Don't worry, I actually love Ariamano, honestly I think it's a really cool concept for a bug/dragon type. I kind of like how it coincidentally looks a little like Spidops!

I genuinely think this may be one of the best series on youtube. The way you created these fakemon and took input from your fans for new mons and redesigns made it amazing to watch. It truly showed how beautiful it is when artists can come together and create something this amazing for a franchise we all love. I’m sad to see it come to an end but I am proud to have been here since the beginning so I had the privilege to see you and this community grow and come together AND I can’t wait for what us to come for the channel. I remember watching the first episode, when you guys asked for fan feedback as an experiment. I remember you asking if you should bother continuing with the designs. I have a very vivid memory of thinking “wow, I hope there’s enough demand for this, I really want to see more.”
…even now, knowing that there likely won’t be more, I can’t help but think that. But still, I’m so, so, SO happy with everything we did get. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, with me. I cannot believe how far this has come and I could not be more grateful. I look forward to seeing what you do next.

I started watching this series when I was still deciding which college I should attend, and now I'm just a few months away from receiving my bachelor's degree in information technology. When I become bored with programming and schoolwork, I enjoy watching these Pokemon videos on this channel. I religiously watch Mazah region videos. As this chapter comes to a close, mine is almost finished too. Just being able to see the entire series from the start makes me so happy.
As you cultivated your talent for drawing and constructing your own dream Pokemon region, I was also in my own journey, pursuing my own dream in my life. Cheers to us! 🥂

These pokemon look really freaking cool. Like i feel like a kid again imagining myself on a journey with some of these pokemon like xolsmol is SOOO cute and his evolutionary line is so qwerky, goofy, but enchantingly cool. And i would so try to train a Roadraptor.
I really hope this video and your content gains a bigger viewership, the way you imitate the official pokemon artstyle is so accurate and I overall love your designs, so much even that I would wish they were official
I loved this series and it inspired me to start making my own region after not drawing in over 15 years (and trying my hand at digital art for the first time ever)
I know you aren't changing anything but I think if Mega Noctavispa's abdomen would have split open to reveal a new feature it would have changed it enough for people to feel it was different enough. It is still one of my favorite lines in the region though! Thanks for all your hard work. ❤️

Honestly though, for Beakraft, the female version could have had the saw incorporated into the beak like the male version did with its hammer. The bottom of the female's beak could be the saw. In this way, it still fits the theme and is also realistically functional.

It's not a complete region until it gets it's own version of the Pokérap.
In the words of Wit, the only way to create something that nobody hates is to ensure that it can’t be loved either. Remove enough spice from soup, and you’ll just end up with water. I loved following this journey, I probably arrived about when you released pacuna’s first design and it’s been such a fun ride along the way! Looking forward to seeing all these pokemon become somehow even more alive in the game. :D

Thanks to you, I've started on my 2nd Pokemon region that I know I'm going to be very proud of. I'm calling it "Pokemon Grand: Korpina Region." Here is a small summary about the region itself:
Located to the South of the Kanto region, the Korpina region is home to many uncharted and unexplained Pokemon that have baffled scientists for years. The terrain of the region consists of farmland, mountains, forests, rivers, hills, and much more. Unlike most regions, the Korpina region is a large trading post that ranges from foods, ores, clothes, and much more. The head scientist of the region, Professor Tipple, has set his sights on a new type of Pokemon transformation called “Mega Dynamax Evolution.” It is unknown about how this new transformation works, but Professor Tipple has described it as “being the most unique transformation the world has ever seen.”
This region, I believe, will be the first fakemon region to have a 2 stage starter Pokemon with two split evolutions.

This region has everything, new megas, new regis, an insane amount of regional variants, flawless designs and inspirations, unused type combos, an evil ditto, it has something for everybody
Damn I started watching this channel with the galar predictions, can’t believe the fakemon content is finished but it’s been a lot of fun, looking forward to what will be coming next
I remembered you making that Krabby form during a Truegreen7 video, I never realized you'd planned on adding it to Mazah.
This is so amazing! You've done a wonderful job. I could think of a few more great Pokémon. Yes, I am also of Mexican hertitage. (If these ideas are used by big Nintendo, I claim royalties!)
- A Vicente Fernandez mariachi Pokémon....maybe a Mazah variant of Ludicolo?
- A mega for Persian where it's decorated with gold?
- A Tauros version with adornments? Maybe gold horns? The design could have a white skull.
- A luchador that's an opponent for Hawlucha?
- Definitely more ghost types. Maybe one that is based on visiting family tombstones during Día de los Muertos? It would be a conglomerate or maybe random like Spinda? You'd get different families depending on what random one you ran into.
- Another insect type could be a bug with a pepper as a decoy on its butt.
- Tamarind should make a appearance as well. Maybe give another tree Pokémon like Tropius tamarinds? Or it could be a variant of Exeggutor?
- Mesquite could be made as a Trevenant variant or an entirely new Pokémon.
- Definitely need a bbq Pokémon. If we're gonna go crazy....why not make Rotom a bbq pit variant?
- Give Jinx a Selena inspired look. Or just a festive pop star look.
- Coati, opposum, and ocelot need to make an appearance.
- An owl that is a witch since in Latin lore, La Lechuza is a witch in disguse that steals away children and seeks revenge.
- A mosquito Pokémon....for obvious reasons.
This has been an incredible journey throughout many years. I hope that you create more fakemon and a region or make more pokemon related content because that is the reason I watch this channel
While I haven't been here the ENTIRE region, I have been here for quite a while. As someone who has seen a lot of the progress this region has gone through, I'm both incredibly sad and incredibly happy this region is over (at least on this channel). As sad as I am that I won't be able to notice a new video as I'm scrolling through my TH-cam feed, it's so great to see this passion project finally come to a final conclusion. Even if I don't love every Pokémon, each one is full of so much love and passion that it's beautiful seeing them put together into one video.
Your creativity (as well as the creativity of others) have inspired me to create my own region and, while I am in a bit of a hiatus right now haha, I'm incredibly excited to one day finish it as well. Thank you for everything Jack. I'll see you in the next vid. 🫡

On the off-chance you see this comment I just wanted to say you've inspired me to start my own region and while I'll miss the updates I've been rewatching the whole series while designing my own Fakemon. So thank you for being such a massive inspiration for me and such a comforting channel to watch.
I love all the designs and also the fact that my favorite gimmick, mega evolution was included. Seeing the entire series and the work you put into it is really inspiring. I would love to play a fan-game based on this region for sure!
Wow, I felt like i just clicked on the first video i ever watched when you designed the starters yesterday. And the feeling waking up every morning with a feeling of excitement knowing that a new video of yours could be out showing off some new sparkling fakemon to watch and leave me the rest of the day in a great mood. This project has inspired many of us to pick up a pencil or apple pen and start to draw right after watching one of your videos. The end of this journey was an emotional roallercoaster being sad at first that it was over but then becoming glad to know that atleast it happened, in some other universe we may not of had the mazah region and those drawings Jack made as a child of Mollucotta, Quetzlil, and Porsite would still have been trapped in the past. The privilege to watch this masterpiece for free is unworldly. And, the Mazah region isn’t over. All the Mazah videos in the playlist is still there and Project untamed still to release. Every ending leads to a new beginning, many videos and projects are still to release. Thank you Subjectively for this project I am so grateful as many of us are. Keep going and doing what you love. We will all still be here no matter if the Mazah region is over. 😀😀😀
I can’t express how much I love the attention to detail with the bug types within this region. Especially how your incorporate the Tokusatsu like style of tinted lens for their eyes. Especially with Noctavisa, and Mega Flygon

just discovered this channel, this is exactly what I was looking for to watch while drawing ! Like, an incredibly skilled astist with a calm and friendly temper, plus a clean and simple artstyle which is the kind I prefere.

I honestly cant bealive is over, i hace been here watching since it started , i always love fakemon regions, but the way that this región in particular was created is diferent , not only is a region based of my contry, it's one if the best representations of México i have seen in general, the way my culture has been represented was so perfect ! , It really shows the art ,the traditions, the history and the values native to México and to add up to all of that , during all the process each video have a lesson not only for fakemon art, but also for art in general. I can't describe how much i love this proyect , it really help a lot to unsertand things of Pokémon and character creation , along whit each beautiful pice of art that make love more my own country and show really well what it reprsents. May be this conentary will end up lost in the bunch of others that are un this video, but at least i could express my love for this experience. Thal you for the things i learn , tahnk you for your cintribution to the fakemon creations, an thank you for showing everyone the beauty of México, Muchas gracias Subjectively!

This has been a journey - this run of design work is what first got me onto watching this channel, and I have loved every step of the journey. I can't wait until your next big project, whatever it is! I have absolutely adored this work, and I've used a lot of your own design explanations to improve my own fakemon region work.

So much has changed in my life during these 3 years, and yet I still had these fakemon videos accompanying me throughout it all.
I'll definitely miss this series but as long as Subjectively is still up and running I'll be satisfied!
As someone who has been watching since the beginning, It’s sad to see it end, but exciting to see what comes next. I’ve loved watching you grow as an artist and come up with designs on par with Gamefreak’s best.
Now, a tangent about my favorite Mazah fakemon:
Peroxotal is byfar my favorite pseudo legendary Pokemon ever. And that’s including fanmade and official ones. It has a beautiful design, striking colors, an awesome typing, strong personality. It is goofy but also looks so incredibly powerful. At first I thought it looked nothing like a pseudo legendary, but the update you made a while back was imo one of the best redesigns in the dex.
When I first saw Elegoop and Tartusk, I thought they were the weakest designs yet, but when you redesigned them, they became adorable and awesome respectively. Imo the biggest upgrades you ever made to a Fakemon.
Bowlo and Dupedillo are perfect designs. There’s not much too them, but making an armadillo pokemon that rolls up into a pokeball is such a great, simple concept, with incredibly solid execution.
Titanotrop: Massive banana dinosaur. What’s not to love. I, and many other enjoy Tropius, but it’s never really stuck out to me as anything particularly special. But this definitely is.
Atangler. Again, simple, but that’s all it needs to be. Though Bananaw didn’t make this list, I love it, and these two concepts work together brilliantly.
Monkey fisherman and a banana fish- such a perfect dichotomy.
The Cosmet line is my favorite of the fan submitted Pokemon. It is so adorable, and much props to owoodfin (I forgot how it’s spelled) for creating what is my favorite ice type pokemon I’ve ever seen. Again, that includes fakemon and official designs, this is perfect. A tribute to the monkeys that went to space: Incredible concept, and their personalities are conveyed clearly and perfectly in their designs. I can’t stress enough how much I love this evolutionary line.
Chispeka is adorable. Not much else to say. It’s got striking colors, a great concept, great proportions. Idk if this Pokemon has many fans, but I am one of them.
Mollucotta is my favorite of the starters. It’s whole line is fantatic. I love how cute and shy it is, I love how it’s personality shines through, and most of all I love how unique it feels. The starters have had the most time to change and go through redesigns, and I think all the effort paid off.
Thank you for creating what I consider to be the best Fakemon region. You’ve thought outside the box of what a Pokemon can look like, while making everything so convincing that anyone (even my 60 year old dad looking over my shoulder) can instantly say: “Yup, that’s a Pokemon.”
🥹 I hate to see the Mazah region end here, but I'm really glad I got to see it's growth, and be part of the contests hosted. You've made me want to design my own region, and I'm truly looking forward to your updated video guide on drawing in the Pokémon style, I definitely need it 🫡
I don't have the words to express how important this series has been for me as an artist. As well as this channel in general.

Listening to people's critiques made this series one of the most enjoyable fakemon series I've ever seen. I absolutely adore this pokedex and can't wait to play Untamed when it comes out
Even though nobody asked: these are the pokemon I like the most and would see myself using on my final team of 6:
- 3:13 Gastronaut. - going off just the 1st stage of the starters Porsite is my favorite, but Mollucotta is still very adorable and Gastronaut is by far my favorite final stage.
- 8:14 Roadraptor. - you'd be lying if you said you don't always default to using the "Regional Bird" at some point in your playthrough. But this one just has that same cool factor of classics like Staraptor, that makes me think it'd stay on the team. It's genuinely a convincing fakemon, and I'm a sucker for electric types, always been one of my favorite types.
- 9:37 Noctavispa. - Minimelo is so cute i would catch it and love it immediately. i normally forgo the early bug lines, but seeing what it evolves into and how badass it looks, + a creative typing to boot, this one would definitely stick around for the long haul.
- 19:31 Peroxotal. - the 1st stage is unbelievably adorable, the Stitch reference is great, and the final stage is easily my top 3 favorite designs in your entire pokedex. I think it looks perfect and powerful enough to be a pseudo-legendary, ignore those haters.
- 30:47 Noseponch. - i literally gasped and said "HE'S GOING ON MY TEAM" when i first saw Noseponch. The design is simply immaculate, another top 5 maybe even top 3 favorite designs in this dex. Already had me at the design and the name is even better. The rare typing is a huge bonus, and as a gen 3 kiddo, I'm beyond ecstatic to see nosepass finally get the love and justice it deserves after they ruined my boy in gen 4
- I'll be totally honest, it was a struggle to figure out who would take the 6th and final team spot. It is a *very* close tie between 35:28 - Crustang, and 49:30 - Venorayge. But it's gonna have to go to Venorayge.
I feel like, at the end of the day i would genuinely choose Venorayge in an actual play thru.... like, by a lot. Both stages' designs are truly badass, especially Venorayge itself looks like something out of Metroid and i really dig it. Venorayge also just looks like it's actually a good and strong mon.. and the 541 BST reflects that obviously, so it would actually be late game viable :) but at the end of the day, I never liked Crawbrawler, not one bit, and I would see myself never catching one in the first place, thus never giving Crustang a fighting chance. Phytide on the other hand, looks very adorable, if perhaps in a slightly creepy, baby xenomorph way. Definitely gives the vibe it'll turn into something dangerous eventually.
41:30 my favorite evolution line. Absolutely perfect in every way
I’ve been following since before the Mazah region was even a thing, even did my own version of the Porsite line back when you were asking folks to help with its design! This series has been a journey and you guys should be super proud of the region!! Congrats!!!!
30:29 I am so in awe at your attention to detail with every single design, but especially titanotrop here; I didn’t even pick up on the fact tropius’s leaves fold over on the body- like it’s now using them as armor or protection for its enormous form; so big now that it no longer needs to fly :OOOO I love it
Idk why but when I saw potassopod i thought it would be cool if it evolved kind of like shedinja. Like instead of being a 3rd evolution, when bananas evolves (with an extra slot in your party) potassopod would show up to fill that extra slot, like maybe it was an old peel coming off like a shell? That was just kind of a thought I had (lol). That’s about how far I’ve gotten watching this video so far, though I have definitely watched a few others on this region. I love the concepts and designs you’ve made for these mons! Their super creative and they’ve motivated me to create my own fakemon region! It’s been awesome watching you grow as an artist and I can’t wait to see what you create next :)

I’ve been invested in a ton of fakemon regions but I could definitely settle for Subjectively’s Mazah region as the best. Definite top 3. His concepts and art design are unrivalled.
All such amazing designs, it's been wild watching this series from (almost) the beginning.
I think Bathygigas is awesome, I think what it's missing might be as simple as needing more blue. Starters are universally color-coded, Bathy's line brings in the purple typically associated with the psychic-type at the cost of the blue associated with water-type.
I remember watching the designing of the first starters and then the redesigns, come back many months later and i see an entire regions worth of fan designs. What i can say is that this is 'true art' without a doubt, everythin is so crisp and clean (including legendaries and custom megas) and i just hope this was turned into a real pokemon game. Keep up this amazing project 🙏🎉
Just now finding this whole project and I love the whole thing, it’s just all so inspiring and impressive, as well as fun and wholesome. I think the concept and design of Bowllo is perfect. I would so buy a Bowllo plush haha. So impressed!
I cannot fathom how anyone could dislike boinklebee. Not only are they super cute but its so sweet to have such a personal touch like putting your own dog into your game.
I’m gonna miss this series.. I still watch the other videos and of course I’ll continue to watch more future Subjectively videos but this series was something that got me so excited every time something new came out and I loved so many of the Fakemon that came from this channel. Seeing this end feels so.. unreal.. everyone who worked on the Mazah region in any way should be proud and I can’t wait to play the full game one day!
Its crazy to me to have followed this project from the start, and have been subscribed even longer than that! Another chapter concludes, and while i will miss it it was a wonderful ride! Heres to more years of prosperity!
This was an amazing journey. all the designs were so wonderful to see being created. my favorite has to be Suchobile. and I didn't realize it's been so long since the beginning until you started saying 3 years ago. it didn't feel like 3 years which I guess is a good thing.
