I am very close to finalizing my tile.. my mind is set to go after satin finished tiles.... but some concerns are raised... can I ask you few queries..
1. Aren't Satin finished tiles vitrified...? Few shop owners says that satin finish tiles are porcelean and not vitrified.. thus quality is not upto the mark..since you have done a good homework.. what is the truth...
Is satin finished tiles of branded companies are any less in quality with comparison to the egular (GVT) Glossy Vitrified tiles..?
2. What is your practical experience with Granito gres tiles, (i remeber ..Ellora Bianco satin) ... did the satin finished tile absorb liquid..as a result leaving stains behind. ..as such oil gravy, tea, coffee kind liquid etc..

Yes, satin finish tiles are vitrified tiles. Satin Finish is a type of shine that is glossy, but not ultra-high gloss.. It can be cleaned easily.. If you want a reflective, shiny room, please go for glossy.. We actually love glossy tiles, but we chose satin because my mother in law is not well and she couldn't manage glossy tiles. Satin Finish is the trend now a days.. We are happy with Granito Gress.. We didn't go for that brand in particular.. We actually started with Kajaria, Somany like brands, but we finally end up with Granito gress, to satisfy our aesthetic interests... Whatever brands you choose, go for premium models( for safe side).. My friend is using satin finish tiles in her home for 1 year.. It looks super cool... 😍. Granite is expensive.... So, to fit into our budget, we chose tiles! And we personally prefer tiles tooo!

Shops gets more profit when they sell non branded products that's why they promote it. Secondly non branded quality is poor, after 10 to 15 years the tiles easly gets worn out or get faded. This is my experience after seeing so many housing projects.
