Thank You!! Just saved me $50. I was on my way to the dealer and I pulled over to watch your video. Took me 2 minutes to watch your video and 20 seconds to program the keys.👍👍🤓
You made my day mate. I'll share your vid on a mazda FB group. I replaced my battery and the car didn't recognize the key any more. I contacted mazda looked at the internet for clues, and nobody knew what was going on. So I've been in frustration for the last two days, and an hour ago I saw your video. As a last resort I tried it on my 2009 CX 9, and it worked. Thank you very much for posting this !!
Hi Maarten, if your key is recognized by the car, how were you able to follow the instruction in this video? You need to have 2 working keys for this to work.
Nice vid, thanks for posting. Subscribed and 👍👍. Most tools will do it as "add key," having only one original, which is different from program key or akl. (all keys lost)
I am trying to program a key just the way you did but when I try to program the new key the immobilizer light flashes really fast when I put the new key in
I have a 09 CX-7 I GOT The remote off ebay with the key already cut , i figured id go and make a clone at Lowes, program the romete , it worked to lock and unlock the doors, but the car wont start. I nedd help , do i need to but a brand new remote, with a clean blade, have it cut and program the remote again ? Please help
I try using the alltel tool to program the keys on my 2010 Mazda CX-7 but it wouldn't let me program it took me to some procedures is it because my tool is too new car is too old
how about for the keyless? My other flat key fob only unlocks and locks but cannot start the vehicle. I misplaced it my house and after 3 years, I found it but it no longer functions as before. I also replaced the battery but it can only unlock and lock.
Mazda and Ford vehicles requires minimum of 2 keys programmed to car before it can start. If you have 2 keys you can program the 3rd one as you see in the video but if you have only one key available than you would need a immobilizer tool to be able to program another one.
I just had a transcended key made as well as two key farbs after I put an ECU in it. So you're telling me is that two mechanical keys were supposed to be made?
@@huyug1 ok..thanks..then i can buy the mazda fob ( remote control ) online should include the chip?, i can cut it & program it in the car..which key programmer device comptiable to mazda..thanks..
@@AhmedKarimchannel yes it comes in 2 pieces one remote and one chip mechanical key. I Autel im608 but you can use other devices as well. And if the programmer doesn’t want to program the key somehow you can try all keys lost function.
@@huyug1 I have two keys, but I think they are clones because I can't get this to work, and my Xtool won't work for "add a key." If I use the "all keys lost" function is there a chance I can leave myself stranded?
2011 MAZDA CX 9 a program cannot be read please consult to a dealer I have a 2011 Mazda cx9 with a dead battery. We put in a new battery and now the Navigation System Head Unit Radio is heard but the screen is not visible. I have a message that says: "A program cannot be read, please consult a dealer" Thanks for all the help you can give me. Cordially, Mr Ruben Mendez
If it used to work before battery replacement, you probably need reprogramming. Sometimes software corruption is possible during battery disconnection.

*This also works on the 2011 Mazda 3* Hoo-wee, this did the trick - very grateful for the information.
I have been searching for a fix for months!! Thank you!! You saved me some cash as well. Still need to program the door locks but man, this is great!

@@sverhage Never figured out. Went to dealership to have it reprogrammed but told me to buy a new fob for about $400. I said nevermind. lol

The keys are in the farb lol
i got question ,if i got one programmed key, i can use it two times.. then i put the new key to program it..? thanks..
Hello, no not possible. You need 2 registered keys to program the 3rd one manually on fords and Mazda’s which are same programming wise most time.
I’m sorry just got your question. No you can not. They must have different transponder keys which were NOT cloned.
