- I absolutely LOVE the Fulvic Acid Brightening Cleanser! I use it daily.
- I have never tried IL toner but I love Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner. Would you say IL PHA Toner is better?
- I've never actually seen the ACV peel in store so I didn't know that existed.
- Hyaluronic Acid for $90???? They out their mind!!!
- $75 eye cream?????????
- I love IL Retinol but I would never pay $85 for a retinol alternative

@@kaivickers166 No, I've never tried their GA toner. Of the two that they offer, the Niacinamide had better reviews and my skin is tricky with full on GA so I was trying to be cautious. I made the best decision for my skin cause the hyperpigmentation is just vanishing before my eyes and I've had no irritation at all.
I have alot of different GM products: pineapple exfoliant, rose cleansing gel, dark spot correcting serum, niacinamide toner, and my skin loves them all.
I love the inkey list! I use the HA Serum, VitC and EGF serum, retinol, PHA toner, and the peptide moisturizer. My skin is so radiant and smooth. I wish they would come out with a SPF 50 to complete my all inkey list routine!
I just received my Paula's Choice retinol 1% in the mail, I'm so excited to try it out. Thank you Cassandra for introducing me into the world of skincare, you and your videos have helped me so much! I have oily-combo dehydrated blemish prone textured skin. I started skincare in January and got a chemical burn in February because I used a BHA serum as an eye serum. And one of your videos about flaky skin helped me recover from it. Now my skin is healthy and hydrated, and I started using 1% retinol in June and all my acne and texture has dissipated. I never thought I could be using retinol at 13 but it turned to be one of my favorite ingredients!

If anyone else notices the Xanthan Gum, I looked it up. Xanthan gum in skin care is used as a thickening agent, texture enhancer, and to stabilize emulsions, which is a general term for mixtures of unlike substances such as oil and water. (I have seen it listed in so many products and was curious)
It's almost in every product these days. I noticed that a week or so ago.
I use it when I make my protein/low calorie ice cream. Wow, 10 times the amount with Xanthan Gum.
Not that I want them to, but I’m just confused why celebrities can’t watch one of yours or Dr. Dre‘s videos and then go ahead and make their product 🤷🏽♀️
Usually celebrities just want a quick buck and go to a lab and pick a premise formula. It’d be nice if they actually cared about the well-being of their audience instead of the profit that they’ll get.

So I guess what I'm saying is, if you can afford it and want to support Kim Kardashian, go ahead and spend the $630. But understand that you're not getting anything special that you couldn't get for $90.

I’m happy to pay money for innovative product, but not for packaging. I have some of the best skin of my life with brands like inky and the ordinary providing basic chemistry at the prices they should be provided.

I only just got the Inkey List Peptide Moisturizer a few days ago, but I already love it! It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and soft! So far it is the BEST moisturizer I have ever used! So, I have to thank Cassandra (and James) for talking about this product

I think the packaging is a factor here. But I agree, it's possible that going by $ per ounce or milliliter, the SKKN products are a better value. But I doubt it. I think the SKKN packages are designed to look like you're getting more product. And the packages 'are' attractive although I personally don't care about that.
Actually I just looked at SKKN website and the sizes of all her products are very standart and comparable to the inkey list. All skkn $90 serums are 30ml and the toner is 150ml, cleanser is 125ml, face cream 50ml. Very basic. The packaging definitely makes it look like you get more but nope, same size as the inkey list.

Yay. Due to budget and being in a place where things are limited to me, I've been looking into this one and another one you mention a lot that's around that price range. I use normally Glow Recipe buts out of my budget for awhile

Not everyone can use retinol.. sadly my face hate it, so I want to try Bakuchiol. But my other cheeks like retinol. 😅 It helped with acne there surprisingly well.
Anything would be better than scammy Kim’s line. Honestly. I will never spend any of my hard working money on that family. Why would I when there are better options out there, seriously.

It really IS important to turn and learn. My uncle works in pharmaceuticals and so many products are repackaged and given a different name.
Ex. Extra strength is just a higher dose of the original. Save your money and buy the original.

Cassandra! Could you do a list of your favorite lip balms 🥺 I have the driest lips known to man and I'm at the end of my rope trying to find products that deeply hydrate without breaking out the area around my mouth (particularly because I have to apply at night before bed!)
Also I'm kinda broke so buying and trying like 2 dozen different lip balms a year is SUFFERING

My problem with the inkey list is the majority of their products have the ingredients that their touting on the bottle as the some of the last on the list meaning that theirs not a ton sadly. Perfect example the peptide moisturizer

Hey Cass just a genuine question, you kept saying her packaging is sustainable but to me it looks like regular plastic packaging with a glorified casing on it?! How is it sustainable when she is shipping products with twice the plastic than necessary? and calling it sustainable just because it’s “refillable”,Isn’t that just a form of greenwashing?

I heard that some forms of certain ingredients like salicylic acid and niacinamide are of higher quality and just overall better than others. I forgot exactly which ingredient I was told about but for example ginseng is higher quality when extracted from the root as supposed to the stems but the stems are more commonly used because it’s cheaper. So even though inky list has some of the same ingredients, what if the ingredients in skyyn are just higher quality and that’s why it’s more expensive? And how do you even tell on the bottle ?
What do you think about facegym products? They have a vitamin C serum to use in the night but I heard a lot times vitamin C is no good for the night.

I would never buy any Kim Kardashions brands
The line feels dated to me. Modern lines tell you the star active ingredients on the front, a bonus if you get the percentage, they don't include physical exfoliators, not so heavy on the face oils, they include an SPF product, a double cleanse product, a hydrating toner/essence rather than a stripping one...
It just feels very year 2000: we say it's moisturizing on the front so you must believe us, and it costs $100 so you must believe it's a very good product. Very La Mer-esque, which the facialist (who formulated everything) worked for, so this all makes sense.
And I personally can't stand the packaging. It's not truly green. And I love sweet colours and cute bottles in my cabinet, not these boring, sad, and confused plastic toilet rolls.

Fragrance is a NO for me! I learned that hard. I had to switched skincare to vegan that does not contain Fragrance and ingredients what I have to avoid.
