I fell into a deep and inconsolable depression for almost a year due to undiagnosed Bipolar and body dysmorphia issues. I could barely leave my room, much less communicate my problems. and she took that as I didn’t love her and appreciate her. So she withdrew as well, right under my nose she was letting me go and I couldn’t notice. When she ended things I felt like I was awakened from a coma and it couldn’t be real. I felt this rush of emotion, empathy, guilt, and shame I hadn’t felt in years- heartbroken. Fought tooth and nail but she needed space and I let her go eventually The break up was the wake up slap I needed to get back to working on me and being my best self. I’m in therapy, going on medication for my illness, learning new physical and emotional skills, building a healthier relationship with my body and mind. Once I get there, I will be giving it my best shot. If I were her, I wouldn’t have wanted to be with me at my worst. I wish she would’ve held on and fought for me, but I see her side. If she rejects me at my best, I can live with the fact that we weren’t meant to be
Thank you this is great advice. My husband and I when we had our first son (not married at the time) he separated from me and I got him to open up when I showed confidence. Ok, I also wore a killer dress that day 😅 to ensure he took me back. But we still had issues.. we had a second son and our relationship was rocky then good, then rocky, then great - then married! And marriage counseling layed us both a solid foundation. Last year it tested us but we talked it out.. but this year, now now, we're back in a very nasty rut where he's sleeping elsewhere. I know what I was not doing and now as a wife with two children, he knows I'm committed to our marriage and I'm letting him do what he needs. It's a balancing act. I know what love is and how it can be tested and changed and it can fizzle out then come back. We should have gotten marriage counseling from our pastor last year. Coach T, I gave my ex 5,000% of myself. She's broken up with me a good 30-50 times over the course of two years. It's her unhealed childhood traumas that cause her the inability to get close. When we would have two-three good dates she would breakup over some stupid BS. I've gone NC before, the last time it was four months, I thought she may have changed, but she did the same routine with me. It's day 43 now, and honestly I'm at a point that I don't care if i hear from her again.

I initiated the breakup in the heat of the moment during an argument. My ex agreed to the breakup but then I regretted it instantly the day after but my ex didn’t want to get back together even after I tried to talk him back into it and profusely apologised. @@Chloeeee2215i did the same thing, we were together for 6 years been separated 3 years this November, but what Im going to tell you isn’t to give you hope and not everyone’s situation is the same, after I begged yea he kept saying he never was gonna get back together that only last a few months were we did hook up, that was a mistake but it wasn’t a bad mistake because he was wanting to work it out, but when he came back home to our home state(he was working long distance when we broke up) it changed he kept breadcrumbing me and ill get in my feelings and get mad and that was back in forth with him for the last 2 and a half years. All through that he never initiated contact and that’s not a good sign but he never ignored me just when i was triggered by him changing his mind. So I thinks it depends on the level and longevity of your relationship. My ex wants to be friends with me still but it’s not enough stay in no contact because it will help you most of all. I’m in no contact with him no and he watches my stories faithfully but it’s not enough yet. I don’t sit around waiting for him to come because life goes on. If it wasn’t a bad relationship or a bad break he may come around but you got to change and learn to let go hope this hemps

There was also a big problem about the fact that She Is living in a sort of depress mode and She also did a unforgivenable thing to me (After I told her that my sister was going trought a tough time because her friend cut herself and sent the photo to her, this Is was One of the reason of my stress, in fact my sister was crying and stopped eating and obv we were arguing in family all the evenings), during an arguing, because I didnt want to talk that night about those issues and said to her that i Just wanted to do something else and talk about It the day later, my ex cutted herself and blamed me for that. I genuinely thought, and I gate myself because After all i still think that She Is the One, but I don't really know no more. The fact was that we are amazingly compatible and I've never had so much thing in common with a person like I have with her. All these things (the cut and the breakup) happened like the same day (the night of the day before and then the night of that day the breakup). I obv blamed myself for everything and only now, even if i badly miss her, I stopped blamed myself. I cannot forgive now only the fact that, when She said After the cut that She was depressed (She said to me at the beginning of the relantionship that She had some problems with suicidal thought, and since that day I started saying to her to go to a Psy but for 9 months nothing) I said to her, After staying all the day long with her because I knew It was the right thing to do After her mad action, I was disperate, also overwhelmed by my sister issue, the uni, I said to her when She said to me that She had suicidal thought, that maybe It was the only way because I was trying my best, she has also a caring family. I obv apologized for my harsh action. She broke up with me the day After this thing. The fact was that After that i said this things She also aggred with me about the fact that She needed a Psy (i Always have told her that the suicide was not an option so in the Moment She knew that i as Just overwhelmed by everything) and She also asked me if we Will get married One day. I guess She Just dumped me One month before that and She said that. I said that for now i was not thinking about the future (im 19 and She Is 20) but only about presente but that, even if It was a though period, everything was going well. After that She was likely upset and I was in completely bourn out for everything (was 2 am and I didnt sleeo the day before After She cutted herself) and i said to her that i wanted to go ti sleep, that i had no more Energy. I dont know anymore. The day After She dumped me saying I'm a narcisist and that i didnt listen her, thing that I've never did, I said to her that there was a problem of comunication because i Just responded wverytine to what She was writing to me. The Last month, After some weeks I also started become clingy in a certain way because She seemed like She doesnt love me. All these things are out of me, I never thought something like that, I Always thought i deserve love and that i received love from her. @@alessandrochinelli2759I had a similar experience. Nothing made sense. Did months of research. From your story she either has Narcisistic Personality Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder. It’s hard to tell just from your story as there are many overlaps between these disordere. Do the research, understand the patterns and everything will make sense. That will help you heal, understanding the issue.

@ From what you are saying here, it sounds like your girl is monkey branching off of you and into the arms of the next guy. She is intending to use you as her comfort, while she swings into another man’s tree (arms), but is not comfortable with letting you go completely just yet, not until she is secure she has his branch, then she’ll let go of your branch to go be with him 100%. You should go NO CONTACT immediately, and begin to focus on improving yourself.

Not sure. Puzzled because we seemed connected for 3 years until his ex-wife showed up and started threatening me that he was her husband & to stay away. although they have been divorced for over 6 years. So what to do if she came back and dumped me again after less than a month? 😂 I guess, the main and only problem were our fight, she said that i dont listen to her (she just cannot say things properly) but omw i was stressed for a lot of things and I did the same mistake again. There was also a big problem about the fact that She Is living in a sort of depress mode and She also did a unforgivenable thing to me (After I told her that my sister was going trought a tough time because her friend cut herself and sent the photo to her, this Is was One of the reason of my stress, in fact my sister was crying and stopped eating and obv we were arguing in family all the evenings), during an arguing, because I didnt want to talk that night about those issues and said to her that i Just wanted to do something else and talk about It the day later, my ex cutted herself and blamed me for that. I genuinely thought, and I gate myself because After all i still think that She Is the One, but I don't really know no more. The fact was that we are amazingly compatible and I've never had so much thing in common with a person like I have with her. All these things (the cut and the breakup) happened like the same day (the night of the day before and then the night of that day the breakup). I obv blamed myself for everything and only now, even if i badly miss her, I stopped blamed myself. I cannot forgive now only the fact that, when She said After the cut that She was depressed (She said to me at the beginning of the relantionship that She had some problems with suicidal thought, and since that day I started saying to her to go to a Psy but for 9 months nothing) I said to her, After staying all the day long with her because I knew It was the right thing to do After her mad action, I was disperate, also overwhelmed by my sister issue, the uni, I said to her when She said to me that She had suicidal thought, that maybe It was the only way because I was trying my best, she has also a caring family. I obv apologized for my harsh action. She broke up with me the day After this thing. The fact was that After that i said this things She also aggred with me about the fact that She needed a Psy (i Always have told her that the suicide was not an option so in the Moment She knew that i as Just overwhelmed by everything) and She also asked me if we Will get married One day. I guess She Just dumped me One month before that and She said that. I said that for now i was not thinking about the future (im 19 and She Is 20) but only about presente but that, even if It was a though period, everything was going well. After that She was likely upset and I was in completely bourn out for everything (was 2 am and I didnt sleeo the day before After She cutted herself) and i said to her that i wanted to go ti sleep, that i had no more Energy. I dont know anymore. The day After She dumped me saying I'm a narcisist and that i didnt listen her, thing that I've never did, I said to her that there was a problem of comunication because i Just responded wverytine to what She was writing to me. The Last month, After some weeks I also started become clingy in a certain way because She seemed like She doesnt love me. All these things are out of me, I never thought something like that, I Always thought i deserve love and that i received love from her. @@alessandrochinelli2759I had a similar experience. Nothing made sense. Did months of research. From your story she either has Narcisistic Personality Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder. It’s hard to tell just from your story as there are many overlaps between these disordere. Do the research, understand the patterns and everything will make sense. That will help you heal, understanding the issue.

From what you are saying here, it sounds like your girl is monkey branching off of you and into the arms of the next guy. She is intending to use you as her comfort, while she swings into another man’s tree (arms), but is not comfortable with letting you go completely just yet, not until she is secure she has his branch, then she’ll let go of your branch to go be with him 100%.
