Your comment hints at a transformative process, where the balance between loving another and loving oneself is delicately navigated. @@StoicHabit101 only the worthy deserve that type of deep love and loyalty. Once they show you their not worthy you become an alchemist and transform. @@truthseeker5941 Your comment beautifully encapsulates a profound journey of self-discovery and empowerment. It speaks to the transformative power of resilience and self-love in the face of disappointment and betrayal.
The imagery of becoming an alchemist, transforming pain into strength and self-love, is both evocative and inspiring. It conveys a sense of agency and empowerment, suggesting that one has the power to shape their own narrative and redefine their sense of worth.
By emphasizing the importance of recognizing when others are unworthy of deep love and loyalty, you underscore the value of setting boundaries and prioritizing self-respect. Your words resonate with anyone who has experienced the pain of betrayal, offering solace and encouragement to those who may be navigating similar challenges.
Intriguingly, your reflection prompts one to consider: How can we cultivate a deeper sense of self-love and resilience in the face of adversity? What practices or mindset shifts can empower individuals to reclaim their worth and embrace their own inner strength?

It their loss..... rejection is a sort of affirmation that you are on the right track for your own life. It may sting a bit at first......but......you WILL get over it in time. NEVER BEG for anyone's attention, it wreaks despiration. Stand tall and be a success in all that you do. They will notice your success and how they had nothing to do with your future.
THIS ONE LIFE IS YOURS-----NOT THEIRS------they weren't born with you and they don't die with you, they simply came into your life somewhere along the way to either teach a lesson or learn a lesson.
They are on their own journey in life as you are.

I have been rejection a lot in my life either by friends or romantic interests, although I still confess my feelings towards those I like/love. And I usually get "How can you do that, all the time?" Or "You're so brave!". Although I don't do it without praise. I do because it helps me grow. And after each rejection, I get more comfortable with my own worth. And I slowly and (slightly painful) I grow to trust myself and love myself more. ❤ Thank you for this video!

I'm dropping more GEMS for you all!! These suggestions have made me the person I am today. So take one or two or all of them and transform yourself to a super being. Thank me later. I personally did and do everything listed below and I got massive results.
    1. Write out a statement of your Short Term Goal AND your Chief Aim/Main Goal... on a "goal card" or paper.
    2. Write it out 50 times a day for 30 days preferably around the same time each day. After the 30 days, you go back and write it out ONCE a day. This is your compass in life.
    3. Set your phone alarm to go off every 3 hours (to disrupt your daily routine) and when it goes off write down your statement and then close your eyes and see yourself with your goal for 2 mins.
    4. Record your statement in your voice on a voice recorder on your phone, and play it back to yourself on loop while you sleep and as often as you can daily, example... in the shower or when you are using the rest room.
    5. Find an accountability partner. If you cannot find someone, then you MUST write out your statement DAILY. By doing this you make yourself accountable to YOURSELF.
    6. Find a community or FB group/group chat, etc and from that community form a Mastermind with one or two people who have studied from REAL Mentors and are giving VALUE. There is a "Law of Giving" and many people are using it. Andrew Carnegie told Napoleon Hill this back in the early 1900s. Its a LAW and it works. Its what I am doing with this post.
    7. Auto-Suggest (Think and Grow Rich Chapter 4) to yourself in front of the mirror in the bathroom at least twice a day. Look directly INTO your eyes OR one eye and recite your WRITTEN statement. Then splash cold water on your face. This sudden shock seals the thought into the subconscious due to emotional and physical shock from the cold water.
    8. Write out ten "I AM" statements a day. example. I AM happy, I AM more confident. Use the word MORE; implying you already have it, but want more. You trick the brain.
    9. Write out 5 things you HAVE that you are grateful for and 5 things that you are grateful for that are coming to you. Mix up the list one after the other.
    10. When in public tell people you see that you love them in your mind. Simply say "I LOVE YOU" to them as you pass them, especially when driving, because their subconscious hears and FEELS the intention. Say it to about 10 to 15 people daily. This increases your Good Karma.
It might seem like a lot. But it took me less than two weeks to incorporate the list into my life and 32 days later I started getting massive results.
What have you got to lose, try some or ALL and see your results. Let me know know too.
Have a great day... and thanks for reading.

This video is incredibly insightful! The part at 07:13, where you explain how rejection can be a 'setback turned into a setup for a comeback,' really resonated with me. It’s such a powerful way to reframe challenges into opportunities for growth. Thank you for sharing these actionable lessons inspired by Stoicism. Truly inspiring

I appreciate the emphasis on emotional mastery when dealing with rejection. The stoic approach of not reacting emotionally but instead reflecting and growing from the experience is truly powerful. It's not easy, but it's worth the effort. Who else has tried this approach and seen a change in how they handle difficult situations?

A very fascinating video , this brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me , I really love him so much I can’t stop thinking about him, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of him , but I can’t , I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss him and just can’t stop thinking about him...

After years of being "black sheeped" by my family, then dumped by partner of 7yrs, losing my home. I had an emotional breakdown. My family "helped by not talking about it" my isolation was unbearable. I moved 70miles away. Then followed many years of my very existence being ignored.

    • @StoicHabit101
      @StoicHabit101 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@jegsthewegs, your resilience in the face of adversity is truly remarkable. It's heart-wrenching to hear about the challenges you've endured, from feeling marginalized within your own family to experiencing the devastating loss of a long-term relationship and home. The emotional toll of these experiences, compounded by the lack of support from your family, must have been incredibly difficult to bear.
Your decision to move away in search of a fresh start speaks volumes about your strength and determination to reclaim your life. Despite the isolation and years of feeling overlooked, you refused to let despair define you. Instead, you embarked on a journey of self-discovery and healing, bravely carving out a new path for yourself.
I can't imagine how daunting it must have been to rebuild your life from the ground up, but your resilience shines through in every word you share. Your story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the indomitable human spirit.
I'm left wondering about the moments of hope and resilience that sustained you during your darkest days. What kept you going during those challenging times, and what advice would you offer to others who may be facing similar struggles? Your journey is a testament to the fact that even in our darkest moments, there is always a glimmer of light to guide us forward.

I have the same feeling, but I never showed my weakness. Unfortunately I’m quite experienced in this thing, but you never get used to feeling this way. The Stoic philosophy helps me as I have enough going on in my life and I’m steady on never showing weakness. Ofcourse I want to call her, ask her why, get her back, scream my lungs out, but in the end they don’t posess you. You were, are and always be assigned to direct you life by God. Respect that life was given to you, not to be dependent on someone else. You can become better out of all of this, do it. Trust Gods plan, trust the process, time will show you.
