I’m at the final stages of building in Ridgeview I wish I would’ve known about Mountverde

Congrats on your new home in Ridgeview! Monteverde is a short 10-15 minutes from Ridgeview so you can still enjoy the little town.

I found your channel last week, and it is so informative about the area.
My mother lives in Esplanade in Clermont, I live in the Hudson Valley of NY.
She and my stepfather are getting older & I'm going to relocate to somewhere near them in 6 months.
The issue is that I'm not quite in their income bracket, nor have a desire (please don't take this wrong!:))
to live in a shutterless, characterless, stucco home.
Because I have to be in somewhat close proximity; I'm looking at areas that have older, well cared for smaller
vintage type homes (I saw one listed right now in Mt. Dora at 835 e. 8th st that would be perfect!) but of course that will
be gone in the time frame.
Which areas would you say have those sorts of little cape or arts & crafts sort of homes?
My mother said to avoid flood areas. Also, would you say that Clermont is less affordable than an area like Mt. Dora?
She mentioned that as well and I'm trying to make my case that I look outside Clermont:)
    Thank you!

Hi! 👋 There are several areas that have homes similar to the home you mentioned in Mount Dora. Typically they are older homes. Give me a call (407-820-7017 my cell) and we can have a conversation and I can find out exactly what you're looking for. I'll be able to recommend different areas and neighborhoods that you may like as well as set you up on a home search so you can monitor the homes and market until you're ready to make your move down closing to your mom. :)
