I wonder why some of the homes are block on first floor and lumber on the second - other builders do block on first and second. Cost only?

We’re all waiting for the prices to be back under $300K, I have a family member who bought in 2014 in highland Ranch Clermont 34715 for $240K, and that is by far one of the most beautiful communities with high elevation next to hills of minneola. The last hurricane ran straight across all of central Florida, I liked central Florida and Clermont/Minneola because of the high elevation, but now that these hurricanes show they can hit any which way. Now I’m considering further south for the better weather. The whole state of Florida is beautiful and now it doesn’t matter where we go as long as it’s affordable and has a Publix

Truly exciting. I purchased my home in the Reserve of Minneola almost 11 years ago when there was no N. Hancock Rd. It was just an extension of Turkey Farm Rd. which became a dirt road. Since then Hancock was extended, the turnpike exchange was built, the Publix Plaza came to be and all the exciting expansion was announced. I feel unbelievably lucky to have stumbled upon this gem at the time that I did. I can’t wait for all these new opportunities.

Ahhh...I get it now!! They mad because we are getting a bigger and better Crooked Can Complex!! 😂😂😂 I'm sure they will visit this venue as well. Lets not hate but motivate!! This only grows Central Florida!!🎉 As a Minneola Resident, we will be able to ride our golf cart to the complex under Hancock!!

Is Minneola looking to become a golf cart community? Looks like many of the renderings show Golf Cart parking and the tunnel look made for golf carts.

This is great to hear. We are on the south end. Would be great to have more options. I'm wondering when they will add public parks to South Clermont. There's no playgrounds and parks down here. We have to drive to Davenport or up to Paradise park.

How are the taxes in the area? Also I’m hearing insurance rates are out of control in Florida. I’m thinking of relocating from SC but I’m concerned about taxes and insurance.

What are your predictions for home appreciation in Clermont, specially those from Pulte that are built right at the end of Sawgrass where there will be a connector road into Flemings in Winter Garden? Do you think those houses will have a good appreciation once the road is open? Thanks!

The house and neighborhood are beautiful, but the area is notorious for alligator attacks.😅😅

How do you expect prices to look for homes similar to this in the next year? I recently bought in Lake Alfred FL and just feel like I'm in the middle of no where :( and really hate driving 30+ minutes to do anything. I'm interested in selling in about 1-1.5 years and relocating to Clermont to buy a resale home with the pool but also afraid prices might explode like they did a few years ago

Hello, my Aunt is looking at either Clermont or Leesburg for her next move, but more for an independent living apt situation. She is currently living in Ocala but anticipates moving within a year or two. Does Clermont have any of those type of independent living apts?
