You don't listen to Blackbird. You experience it.
I've seen the live many times.
It's an amazing thing to be part of.
Most under rated band of our time.
They are truly masters of their art.
Check out the concert in Wimbly with the full Orchestra.
Freaking mesmerizing.
Only certain ecasions I would listen to it.
Amen
seen them live 7 times, and this is always a masterpiece.
Yes! This song will give you goosebumps.
Its a fucking crime how underrated, or not underated, but under-popularized this band is..this song is like modern day Stairway to heaven..so amazing and full of emotion and talent!
It seems to mainly be in America, sadly.
SHPOKEMOUN As far as metal bands go today Alter Bridge are pretty famous man, I wouldn't call them underrated unless we're comparing them to mainstream pop.
I don't think they are underrated. Their gigs are sold out almost everywhere in the world.
And yes, I fucking love them and I saw them almost everytime the came in Italy
Sorry Luca, but that isn't the case. I love Alter Bridge and have seen them about 6 times. They do not have nearly the following in the US as they do in the rest of the world, sadly.
100% agree with your comparison to Stairway to Heaven. Myles Kennedy is a fucking mastermind.
We need to spread this song, this band, the world needs it! A masterpiece !
RevengedScar the world knows
The best band in years. I absolutely love Alter Bridge and Myles Kennedy.
I want David Draiman to cover this
@@RockNlRolla no they don't actually. AB is severely underrated bud.
@@seximexi5820 in europe we all know em
Myles kennedy is a God, Mark Tremonti is a God, alter Bridge is heaven
Reaken Music so freaking true ❤❤❤
Reaken Music
Don’t forget Brian and Flip. They are always solid and always bring the thunder!!! 😎🤘🏽
Reaken Music "I AM THE DEVIL" -Attila
I a g r e e
Amen
Fun fact: the lead singer Myles Kennedy and I are from the same city. Spokane Washington. He's a local hero around here and we love him and the band!
My mom went to school with him!
How have I lived in Spokane for over 30 years and not know that???
@@bradmoulton138 there's even vids of him sitting on the street playing and ppl.walking by thinking he's a street performer lol
Seen any Sasquatch lol
Myles Kennedy's voice is just so chillingly beautiful and Alter Bridge as a whole are legendary.
TooleTech Gaming And he pulls off the vocals perfect live as well. Best vocals I've seen live.
Words Darker Than Wings Alter Bridge live at the Royal Albert Hall.
I really loved that vid I think it was even better than the original and Myles did an amazing job with that song
Oh my god that is one of the best live performances i have ever seen
@@kiyansharma5809 just here to let you know I was there for the performance. UNBELIEVABLE show.
dude......
@@WatershipAlan how did you know it was happening when I saw the upload I just thought I must have been kidnapped by Aliens and that part of my life was skipped and that was why I missed it.
This song had me crying like a little kid the first time I heard it, it's now among my favorite songs ever, so full of emotion
that solo actually made me cry, that was crazy. definitely need to add this and the whole band to my playlist
Listen to Death Voice of the Soul pure guitar magic
One of the best solos ever, you can feel the pain and anger in it; people that blow off rock b/c the solos are "just noise" are really missing out. The lyrics say a lot, but some things can only be "said" by the instruments
It's been a year since I made this comment and this song is STILL my most favorite song. I play it every day and can't get enough of the band as a whole, including Tremonti's work and recently added Slash featuring Myles Kennedy to the daily alter bridge playlist
You wont be disappointed... Welcome to the family
There must be something special with that solo right. That's why it was voted as the greatest guitar solo of all time by Guitarist and Ultimate Guitar polls.
4:06 Discovering Myles Kennedy..
9:41 discovering tremonti
That voice and that solo gives me chills everytime....this song is beyond imagination...i don't know why this song is not a Grammy contender
This Song Is Like The Modern Stairway To Heaven, probably the greatest rock song of the last 20 years
and in my opinon has the 2 greatest Guitar solos of all time.
A vote not too long ago - www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/ug_news/alter_bridges_blackbird_is_the_winner_of_greatest_solo_of_all_time_ug_showdown.html
not really, i mean it's a simple song not comparable to Stairway To Heaven in terms of songwriting and complexity.
@@celestialcolosseum umm this song shits all over anything Jimmy Page ever did dude. Better solos by far, better melodies, better musicians Stairway is like Pumpkin Spice lattes, basic bitch shit,
@@celestialcolosseum you clearly don't LISTEN to music, pick apart blackbird and you'll be pleasantly surprised at its genius
“The tragedy of dying is the lack of ability to experience the future”
- Alex Hefner
True man true
Modern. Masterpiece!
PlexyPanda honestly it is, this will be a song I remember 40 years from now. So well written and meaningful, not to mention the way it sounds in general.
Alex try Fortress. She is the twin of Blackbird. Love'em both.
Davide Bragagna another great song.
Esto sí es música!!!!!!!!
You're so right about that Davide!
Fun fact , this solo was voted greatest of all time in Ultimate guitar . And Myles Kennedy plays the first half of the solo.
By far one of the best guitar solos ever written... not a bunch of notes smashed together, just intricately written and laid out to tell a story... love this song
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR AN ALTER BRIDGE REACTION. I absolutely love Alter Bridge and Blackbird is a modern metal masterpiece #alliteration. Myles Kennedy is so talented that it's easy to overlook the other members, but they're all great IMO. Other Alter Bridge songs deserving of a reaction: Cry of Achilles, My Champion, Ties That Bind, Ghost of Days Gone By, Zero, Isolation, and Crows on a Wire. Thank you for doing this Alex, I wish you the best!
White knuckles, Rise today.
Come on!! Yes Myles Kennedy is literally a God but we can't forget Tremonti!! Another God \m/
What about addicted to pain
Not sure it’s possible to overlook tremonti!!! 🎸🤘
I love the way Myles starts the guitar solo with really emotive playing and then Tremonti takes it up a notch. This song is a masterpiece!
Alter Bridge always brings me back to when I first started watching WWE when I was a kid. Hearing Edge's theme music by them just got me so hyped for whatever episode of Raw I was watching and still to this day this band brings back a shit ton of memories.
evanwar457 man, Metalingus is such a great song. That's also how I got into Alter Bridge. Hearing Edge coming out to to Metalingus was awesome.
Alex, you should definitely check out the song, it's great
Lyrically, instrumentally and vocally my favorite song of all time! ❤️ It speaks to my broken heart like no other. Losing three close family members in less than a year. One by cancer, one by suicide and the other by a house fire. 44, 25 and 24 in age. I’m so sorry about what you and your family are going through too. I think everyone can relate to this song as it so beautifully expresses a wide range of emotions we experience in regards to losing our loved ones. Thank you for your awesome review of this amazing song. 😊
Mark Tremonti is one of the best guitar players of the last almost 20 years (with creed) and hopefully 40 more years :-)
Don't forget that Miles is also an unbelievable good guitar player. The first part of the guitar solo is actually from miles and it transitions into marks solo. I think this solo just shows the deep understanding of music they both have. And both are able to bring this into lyrics and chords which is a rare gift these days in my opinion. Hearing this song live and seeing the emotions on both faces when playing this song is something which you never will forget. They did this song and lyrics so well that even we as non native english speaking people are able to understand it by using the music as the universal translation media. Even if you don't understand everything he sings the music is able to transport the meaning and I think Alter Bridge is one of the only bands in this genre which are able to do that. If you dig a little bit more into the albums of them I'm sure you think that too :-)
Also stay strong dude, really sorry to hear about your family member
PlexyPanda thank you ❤️
Alex Hefner how did you get those clips from those movies and put them in your video? What program do you need for that?
Cry of Achilles by AlterBridge. This has to be done from AlterBridge.
Sayonil Mitra so much yes! This one Is a must!
Definitely. Even this song is so epic and emotional. It has touched everyone I have seen reacting/listening to this. Cry of Achilles has that same intensity, if not that strong emotional value.
THIS! Yes Alter Bridge is sooooo underrated.
True Charlotte, especially in today's age. It's musicianship is insane. Also, many people don't know now how good Myles is on Guitar
I'm sorry to hear about your loved one Alex. Stay strong.
Myles' friend, to who this song is dedicated, actually passed away from cancer at a young age. That's why I believe this song speaks to so many people that have gone through the same. In any case, Myles Kennedy and Alter Bridge are very talented and have many beautiful songs like this one.
A few ones I'd suggest are: All Ends Well, Life Must Go On, Before Tomorrow Comes, Watch Over You, Calm the Fire, Fortress, Open Your Eyes, Shed My Skin, Cradle to the Grave, Cry of Achilles, Metalingus and Addicted to Pain.
You might also want to check out Myles' solo stuff - those are also great.
That's all! Keep smiling!
Awesome suggestions! I want him to react to all of them 😍
You've got to include"Words Darker Than Their Wings"
Imagine making a beautiful masterpiece only to gain recognition 11 years later.
Alex, I hope you're having a dope ass day bruh!!!
Sorry to hear about ur loved one going through stage 4 cancer. Cancer sucks!!!
I lost my dad when I was 15... my day was only 37 yrs old.
My thoughts and prayers to you and your family! 🙏
Scott Laboch Sr much love man! So sorry to hear about your dad. Love you
You have a GREAT day man sorry to hear about your love ones. BE strong man from Malaysia.
Scott Laboch Sr I relate to you. I lost my dad when I was 15 also 😔😢
Braedyn Donovan sorry to hear. It really sucks, especially when you don't expect it. I didn't realize how sick he was...he went to the hospital, & 10 days later, he's gone. 😞 #MuchRespect
Alex Hefner Thanks bruh... Much love & respect! ✌
Alter bridge - metalingus
Great song
On this day, i feel clearly
See clearly
🤘
Love that song
If this song means a lot to you. Then try "in loving memory" by Alter Bridge
but death is not the problem... death is often the (only) solution... and the devil created the love... sooner or later it ever hurts...
in germany we have a famous song about a black bird and the death too...
but written 1979

I lost my mom to Cancer and my grandmother to a TIA in a two year span and have heard both songs and both Blackbird and In Loving Memory are great songs
Can't listen to In Loving Memory without crying my eyes out!!😢🖤
That song hits me hard. My dad even more so. Reminds us both of my mum who passed away years ago. It's a beautiful song, just y'know, right in the feels.
“Broken wings” and “In loving memory” by alter s bridge !!! ❤️💯
This song is a true masterpiece and sometimes all you can do is close your eyes and take it all in. It was great to see you do that, to truly just listen. I'm sending you my thoughts and prayers too xx
Alter Bridge- Metalingus
commented about metalingus around 4 5 times...
Yep ive asked for this a couple times
ON THIS DAY!!
Edge
beast Blob when I had my charity boxing match this was my walk out song
(In loving memory alter bridge ) this is one of my favorite bands
Fun fact every one in alter bridge except the lead singer was in the band creed
This song makes me cry every time I hear it. My mom passed away six months ago from Graft vs Host Disease after a bone marrow transplant, & this song hits home so hard. It's never easy seeing someone you love go through things like that. I hope your relative/friend passes peacefully & finds reprieve from her suffering.
It's a while since the original comment, I'm so sorry to read this. I hope you're feeling well and best wishes to you ❤️
Your reaction was similar to when I first Heard this. Closing your eyes, hearing how powerful and emotional the song is. I still get emotional listening to this song to this day
Amazing reaction as always
That's one thing I love about Metal - the lyrics are not mostly about love and love and love! There are so many feelings and storys and wonderful worlds to write songs about!! And not every beautiful song has to sound happy - it just has to wake up the emotions!!!
Alter Bridge - Broken Wings
Pleeeease!!!
That is Mr. Mark Tremonti on lead guitar one of the best ever! Add that with Myles unique vocals and you get legendary !
Myles does the first solo... Mark's was the 2nd which is the heavier.. but both is so gooodd
ah this song is so good..keep reminding me to live my life to the fullest..the solo was so good like the guitar ìs crying and pierce straight through you heart..if you have experience of a tragedy or loss then it will truly shake your emotion..
Alip Azham that’s the magic of rock. No amount of modern hip hop or edm or soundcloud rap can replace that.
Alter Bridge is an amazing band full of amazing guitar work. I highly recommend you check out more of them man
Alter Bridge: "Words Darker Than Their Wings" Live At The Royal Albert Hall
This
I feel that sometimes bands create songs that feel like once in a life time masterpieces in which everything (guitars, bass, drums, vocals, lyrics) blend together perfectly and that they have other great songs but you get the feeling may not reach this level again but it’s ok because they have these :
Alter bridge - Blackbird
Nirvana - Heart-shaped box
Arctic Monkeys - Crying Lightning
Billy Talent - Cure for the enemy
The offspring - The kids aren’t alright
In my opinion
This song literally helped me through one of the hardest phases in my life and has been with me for a very long time now. Thanks for making a review on it. Have been waiting for it for a long time. This really made my day :)
This is my all time favorite Band and I like a lot of bands.
I actually got the chorus tattooed on my back this past Monday. That's how much these lyrics mean to me. I'm 49 and I don't take tattoos lightly. Alter Bridge is definitely one of the most underrated bands on the planet. Btw, love your reactions. I've watched this one about 20 times.
♥️♥️♥️
Hi from South Africa. There is a band from my country called Saron Gas, who later changed their name to Seether. Truly an amazing band! If you can, please react to one of their songs. Perhaps FAKE IT, or REMEDY, or GASOLINE, or BROKEN, or NOBODY PRAYING FOR ME. That would be great. Thanks for your uploads xx
Luci Wolff isn’t that the band whose singer was dating Amy lee from evanescence?
inF3Rn0Exile 1 Yeah. The vocalist (and the original Saron Gas / Seether band members) is from Centurion, South Africa. His name is Shaun Morgan (Welgemoed).
nee man, kom saam met my XD
They had a song in Burnout Paradise, yeah? It was fake it afair
Seun, jy moet nie jou geld op data spandeer nie. Spaar jou geld vir petrol :-) Lekker om die Afrikaners hier op TH-cam raak te loop xx
I'm actually wearing my Alter Bridge t-shirt as I watch this. Check out Watch Over You by Alter Bridge for a real tear jerker.
In loving memory will spread some dust in the air too.
Cory Singleton what i was gonna say brother
When I saw them in December, the 3 guys in front of me were all sobbing. Surprisingly, I held it together, but it wasn't easy.
And you know, interestingly enough, as much as I love Cristina Scabbia, I prefer the version with just Myles.
Wonderful Life makes me cry like a baby every time
Alex, first I want to thank you for reacting to this song. Now, I need to say that I absolutely feel what you and the singer are feeling here. My Dad lost his battle with complications from Diabetes about a year and a half ago and he suffered through so much pain for years. Even through his struggle, he positively affected thousands of people's lives through his amazing charity and will forever be my hero. The one comfort that has gotten me through this massive loss in my life is knowing that he doesn't hurt anymore. Remember that my friend. No more pain, just beauty, peace and love, forever.
Whenever I hear Alter Bridge's "Blackbird", I always think of "The Crow" (1994).
Ice Nine Kills made a song based off 'The Crow' and it's fantastic. You have a great taste in movies and music
Six years ago I lost my sister. Alter Bridge's song, In Loving Memory, helps me when I'm sad. It may help with feelings for your loved one. I'm sorry your all dealing with that. I love the live at Wembley version. The crowd singing along just adds so much. The crowd is always the best backup singers.
I LOVE Alter Bridge. They are my favorite band, Myles is my favorite singer. This song was voted best guitar solo. Watch Over You in Glasgow is good too. The audience is crazy. Their songs seem to carry so much meaning. Enjoy.
As I Lay Dying - My Own Grave
Metalingus -alter bridge...do that 😵
How did I not see this reaction before?... One of the best songs ever written in my opinion, perfect lyrics, perfect music, perfect everything. I got lucky enough to experience it LIVE and Myles is incredible in real life as well, his control of his voice is one of a kind and he reached the highest tones so perfectly on stage too. Just amazing.
I like to think that this song is like when you bottle up things that are really effecting you. It just builds up slowly, the first part of the solo is the person almost at breaking point, and the second part is where they just explode and everything they’ve tried to hide away comes out.
More Alter Bridge. Tremonti's lastest album a Dying Machine is amazing too.
Crafty Coin dying machine has such cool artwork on the front cover haha
Tremontis best work has been with Alter Bridge for sure tho
Crafty Coin all I was is pretty good. The album
Andrew O they were talking about Tremonti tho, not alter bridge
if you liked this then you are going to like "in loving memory" by them the lead guitarrist wrote that song when his mother passed away
tomas gomez agreed! It's a tear jerker!!! Love it.
Josh Rudy opinion differ dude..
Broken wings is a banger. One of my faves
Hey Alex, been a long time subscriber of yours but i rarely comment on any videos. I just wanted to say your reaction to this is exactly the same as my first time listening to Blackbird. The raw emotion throughout this song hit me hard, as i was going through a similar situation to yourself. After time i found solace in that guitar solo, the step up from Myles' solo into Mark's resonates with me as i feel it symbolises the ascension into heaven. It makes he happy to see somebody closing their eyes and feeling the music, that's what this song does to most people i have introduced it to.
Keep strong brother, we love your videos and you put a smile on my face every day, much respect from Wolverhampton, England ❤️
Back in the day, my ex and our friends had a "music appreciation" night going on and a friend brought this as one of her songs. We were all utterly floored by every single thing about this song and it got full marks across the board and it was the song that wasn't ever beaten.
Every single thing about this song is fire. Lyrics, production and especially musicianship. The solos are perfect and convey so much emotion, which is sadly lacking from a lot of bands.
Parkway Drive - Wishing Wells
As I lay Dying - My own grave
Patrick Bateman HEY PAUL!!
Welcome to the great vocals of Myles Kennedy. Sorry about what you and your family is going through, I've lost 5 family members over the last 3 yrs. It's a tough road but music can help and keep you positive.
His vocals are absolutely amazing
Bro thank you for finally doing this song! This was my number one for you to do. I'm so happy you liked it and hope you do more Alter Bridge soon. They have a ton of emotion in most of their songs and you can really feel the music. Thanks again!
You gotta be in a mood
You gotta have headphones
They gotta be good
You gotta have this song last
You gotta listen closely
Then you gotta admit
It's an artistic masterpiece.
Fav song of all time this. Im 20 and got the blackbird on the album cover as my first tattoo when i was 18 with the chorus line "may you never be broken again". Just too good and powerful. AB are so under rated yet imo
Myles' voice is so powerful and mark tremonti on guitar is just a machine, example being second solo 😂
Stay strong dude! Could see you keeping yourself together through that.
Check out Metalingus, White Knuckles, Ties That Bind, all are other amazing songs by Alter Bridge.
cry of achilles.
Come To Life is another incredible song by them
I do follow your channel a long time but I’ve never seen this vid before. I’ve been a Alter Bridge fan for like over 10 years and this song is my absolutely favorite! I’ve never lost a friend or family member on a sickness (just the natural way) but every time I hear that song it pushes tears in my eyes because it is so meaningful and strong! This song is a fkn masterpiece and you should listen to more of AB course this band is ass kickin and fkn mind blowing! Thanks dude for that vid!
I admire a lot Alter Bridge, principaly Myles the vocalist, that fucking guy really knows how to give goosebumps with his damn voice, I already saw them performing here in Portugal and Wow, when they performed this song the emotion was so much that it almost made me cry. You have to check "watch over you", this one is one of the songs that even if I try hard not to cry, I cry almost every time listening to it. Super mega reaction I really liked it and I'm sorry for what's happening in your life right now... My boyfriend's sister that also was like a sister to me died with 9 years old from leucemia cancer. It's really hard, but we have to go through with it. Sorry for the long comment.
alex's youtube channel....the one corner of youtube where i dont want to put my face through a blender....thank you alex
Dio- Holy Diver
Clay Megaw and then afterwards maybe he can check out Killswitch Engage's version, but definitely original first
Dio - The Last in Line would also be great
Anything Dio honestly
I was lucky enough to hear this song live at their Royal Albert Hall gig, with the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra. Stunning!
They are essentially creed minus lead singer Scott stapp replaced with Myles Kennedy. Mark Trimonti (lead guitar) is considered one of the best of our time. Myles too is amazing as well.
ethan gospodareck imagine this band had a duet of scott stapp and Myles Kennedy 🙌🏼
Tremonti is a god! His guitar knowledge is above average, him and Myles can create AMAZING riffs always
Now you see why this is one of my favorite songs. Its so amazing and beautiful. Had a stepfather die to cancer and a potential stepfather to be die from it as well. This song helped me through that grief process.
Tears, bro. Every time I hear it including the times I've seen them play it live. I have the entire bridge tattooed on my forearm as part of a piece for my best friend who died of Muscular Dystrophy at 23. I think of him every day.
This song hits me in the heart and it means the world to me. The album came out just short of a year to the day that he passed and when I heard it it blew me away. Even the solos are so damn emotional, they pull you in. Myles is a beast on vocals and him and Mark destroyed that solo section.
Thank you for doing this song, Alex. I'm glad it means something to you as well and I'm sorry you and your family are dealing with that. Sorry for rambling.
Bill Ekeman isn’t it so crazy how music can mean so much to people! It is so comforting. Unreal.
Alex Hefner It's unlike anything else I've experienced in life. Surreal is a good word. The emotion music can stir up in so many ways (lyrics, vocals, instruments). Those guitars sung. I'm at a loss every time. And Myles is a king.
The moment he finished singing "The willow, it weeps today..." I started crying the first time I heard it and that pretty much continues to this day.
I wish I met them after this record came out instead of before.
Please react to more Alter Bridge songs, like:
"Metalingus"
"Cry Of Achilles"
"Show Me A Leader"
I'm incredibly sorry to hear about your loved one. I lost my best friend this year to bowel cancer and it felt like I'd be cut off at the knees, it's an horrific thing to have to try and understand. If you're looking for a song that will help verbalise those kinds of emotions then check out Gone With the Wind by Architects.
Tom Searle wrote the song as he was dying due to a brain tumour and the lyrics are an incredible look into the mind of someone who's been told they won't survive. I get a lump in my throat every time I hear it.
People see metal as something that's always about intensity, but they don't see the side..the pure emotion in some of these songs, and this song has some of the metal intensity but it highlights that it can be metal but also deliver one of the strongest messages in metal...in music in general, how they equate suicide to a blackbird leaving is such a powerful message that it even helped me with my own problems and its one of those songs that I know people like myself I advocate for them to listen to this and hope it can help even in the most miniscule amount it truly is and amazing song, thank you very much for reacting to it Alex.
Anthony Downey completely agree! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Some? I think atleast 80% metal songs have way more emotion than any pop song!
Metal is mostly so damn poetic. Thats the reason 5FDP is one of my top favourite bands.
Metal is the reason i can get through the shitty problems of life.
Akhil Arora oh i know exactly what you mean, and I didn't mean some as in a small percentage😂. One of my favorites has been and always will be Dethklok, granted I know its unusual for them to be an emotional helper. But I find that their instrumentals have a calming effect, primal, but calming.
You should check out the live version of this song. They sound exactly the same live. Both Mile’s and Tremonti’s solos are truly amazing to watch.
Abel Rodriguez live at Wembley was a amazing concert I wish I could have attended. When they played blackbird there you could hear and feel the emotion from Myles and Mark.
Mark Fisher, It’s definitely my favorite live show of theirs. I’ve still never gotten to see them live. I had tickets to see them almost two years ago but my wife was close to going into labor so I gave them away. I’m hoping they come back to Texas at some point.
Abel Rodriguez I gave away tickets I won to see mark tramonti. I had to leave state for a job. Haven't seen ab yet either and can't wait until I do
Mark Fisher, I feel your pain lol.
Yeah, seeing Myles play his solo to the sky for his friend was very emotional ❤
Bro...your timing is impeccable. A good friend of mine died this morning from cancer...he was only in his 40’s. Thanks for sharing this song and posting today of all days...truly touching.
Discovered this song yesterday, and I'm obsessed with it. Masterpiece
Watching these reaction videos have helped me find new bands to listen to😂
PanteraRocks932 that’s what it’s all about!
Absolutely!! I came upon your metal reaction videos about a month ago and found that I am completely entertained by you and the quality of product you put out. Initially it was songs I have already known and loved that got me watching your reactions, but now, in addition to that, I also look to find new bands that I never heard before. Im a huge fan of Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Manson, etc, but I really listen to a wide range of bands. Im more rock 'n roll than scream metal or black metal but definitely have a taste for the occasional growl. Anyway I do want to say, because of a reaction video you did I am now a big time fan of the Swedish band Avatar. Your video for 'Bloody Angel" got me. I wasn't even halfway thru your video when I paused it and purchased the song on iTunes. I later, after watching a few of their videos on TH-cam, went back to iTunes and purchased two of their albums. Thank You! Keep up your Dope Ass videos!!
Thank you for showing the world to have an open mind and try new things!! You make my day at a regular basis! I love your reactions!
Alter Bridge - In Loving Memory
HOW CAN THIS VID ONLY HAVE 5K LIKES?!??!?!?!
One of the most powerful songs... EVER!!!!
BLOODMEAT by Protest The Hero...
It's gonna blow your mind Man🤘🤘🤘
Slash - World on Fire
this is a master piece ...alter bridge is so underrated . 20,30,40 years from now this song will remain as “stairway to heaven “ of the modern era .scott ,brian and most importantly mark and myles is one of the most talented artists of this era. everything about this song is just perfect cant even describe in words
this vid has to be called "the intense response" .... my friend passed away in a swimming accident last year and this song means a lot to me, like you pal. I feel some familiar to you right now, I can't describe it...
When I saw the title I knew it was gonna be a rollercoaster for you. The band are great song writers and if not better musicians. The lead vocals truly are something to behold too... For me, I get lost in the music, the soaring guitars taking me to higher plains. Its Less so about death and loss, and more so about being free, and letting the stuff that holds you down/back go. Allowing you to soar up high and be happy within yourself. Watching you react to this is the highlight if day, haha. Enjoy your day buddy. :)
Finally!!!! Absolutely love this band! Most underrated band of all time! I wish they had more commercial success! But I think them being underrated also drives them more. Out of all 5 of their albums I havent found a single song I dont love. I cant wait for them to release their 6th album next year! Myles Kennedys range and power is incredible and mark Tremonti is one of the greatest guitarists of all time in my opinion as well as Myles Kennedy as a singer. You definitely need to check out more man, I've been really getting Hectic into them on his live streams and he loves them lol I'm assuming that someone has already said it on here but the lead guitars Mark Tremonti, the drummer Scott Phillips and the bass player Brian Marshall were all in the band Creed, they teamed up with Myles Kennedy in 2004 after Creed split and the rest has been history
Heath Barkley you checked out marks recent album? Shits good
dddddddd absolutely! And yes it is!
I swear, every time I hear that solo I can't help but visualize the soul in the form of a bird flying away free... just perfection.
Give Alter Bridge's In loving Memory. It's a beautiful song Mark Tremonti wrote when dealing with the loss of his mother.
Already liked before watching. I already know you'll love this
What an absolute tune 🤟❤️
djfinster83 same here man.
Really sorry to hear about that family member man. Prayers to you and the rest of your family🙏
PanteraRocks932 thank you!
It's crazy how a random song you never heard before can touch you so deep. Might even explain what's going on in your heart and life at that very moment. So sorry to here about what's going on in your life prayers sent out to you and your family. Just remember her/him when they were the happiest. Much love
This is one of the best of best to ever be produced hands down!

Wintersun - sons of winter and stars; absolute masterpiece!
Dude, thank you so much for doing what you do. I love seeing and feeling the amazement and happiness when someone discovers new music that connects with them. So often we find ourselves lock into genre(s), and we miss out on some incredible art. So damn awesome that you share your experiences with us all and make us a part of your discoveries.
And going through a loved one with cancer, dude, we are all with you in spirit. Stay strong man *hugs*
I love how during the solo, The man who has never heard this song before manages to bust a few tame Mark Tremonti faces hahahaha.
A7x - a little piece of heaven

This song is one of the greatest examples of mastery. It exemplifies musicianship.
