@@h3brindes306so? They could too if they wanted. But they each wrote and brought their own style to the composition of each solo - which together, expertly says musically what words cannot for the strong emotions of loss, sadness, pain, frustration, hope and anger that sums up the entire song!

This is my favorite song by Alter Bridge. Myles Kennedy wrote it when he lost someone very close to him. It is a song of mourning.
The singer Myles Kennedy played the first emotional solo. Then the lead guitarist Mark Tremonti played th le second solo where he shred his tits off.

The thing is, as good as Tremonti is, the singer Miles is almost as good. Yes there are 2 solos, both Miles and Mark play lead on multiple songs. If you watch the video for their song “isolation” you see both of them play solos

You're the first reactor I've watched to fully acknowledge the long note. It's a testament to Myles Kennedy's voice just how well it blends with the instruments but does unfortunately mean that it gets overlooked by a lot of creators

I like that live feedback! I'm right there with those folks. I still get chills listening to this song. I don't think I've heard a "bad" song by them, only songs I prefer over others. Very talented, very underrated group of people. Myles is my vocal goal for sure. That man's a once-in-a-lifetime frontman.

I saw and meet this band in the early 2000's in Hampton Va. It was a free concert held outdoors in the center of town. The band Creed had broken up and they then formed this band. They are wonderful people and they are an amazing band. The singer Myles is mind blowing! I have this album and the whole album is phenomenal!!!!!!!

Alter Bridge and Myles Kennedy are the most underrated band and lead singer of all time!
I often read recommendations pointing out, you have to hear this, you have to hear that.
Having seen them three times live on German stages, last time in Hamburg, Nov. 2019. If you experience them on stage, especially Myles (voice) & Mark (guitar) you are goosebumped for god damn months because of each single song.
I don't know any current rock singer with a better voice (range) cause you can feel his classic singing education every time.
Genuinely the best reaction video I've ever seen. Thoughtful, funny as hell in the lead up to the first chorus, respected the guitar solo and you were very impressively picking up on some details (such as the two separate solos back to back - most people only hear that as one). I love that you brought in your patreon at the end. Dope stuff dude! GJ
This is what happens when you take one of the best vocalists (Myles) and one of the best guitarists (Mark) in the world and put them together. It's perfection.
Also I meant to say in my comment that they did this concert to promote their band because they were brand new and were unheard of. We liked Creed and didn't know what to expect so we went cause it was free. We went straight out and bought their album soon after that concert lol!!! I think maybe two hundred people were there if that. Cherished memory for sure!!!

Why did I see this a day late?? I've always been a tremendous AB fan since their beginnings, and have always wanted you to react to this song. You could react to their entire discography and wouldn't find a bad song in either of their 6 studio albums. They have incredible instrumentals with one of the greatest singers and lyrical content that actually means something and tells a story. Keep their reactions coming please!!
Blackbird is a heartbreaker. Not to mention, the guitar solo was recognized as one of the best of all time. You can feel the emotion that's being portrayed in the song. As Myles Kennedy was writing the song, his close friend Mark Morse died. So not only was it written about him, it was dedicated to him.

I'm so glad you did these guys. They're by far my favourite band. Myles sang in a jazz group called Citizen Swing, a rock group called The Mayfield Four, Alter Bridge, and Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. He also has a solo album.

I was at a dear friends birthday party last March, her family is very talented and as they were about 20 seconds away from "I hope you fly away, never to be broken again" I got a text saying my best friend just passed away. This song and those people were chosen for that specific moment in my life.

Make sure its Amsterdam and not Wembley. Wembley was still great but Myles had bronchitis during the performance. Amsterdam will blow you away!
