I was JUST waiting for this video!! I was getting bored of the default clinic and couldn't find one that I totally loved. This one is so gorgeous, I love the clean look to it
MissPronounced I made a small fully stocked old fashioned Tudor styled one. 😆seems to be my default style lmfao as I have a chalet that’s finished and a mansion in progress.
And the eye for detail! I made one myself but as I watch this all I can think is “that’s so fucking creative”.

When you were talking about porthole windows and rooms... I started thinking. Could you possibly build a “ship” house? Like a house (or anything else) that looks like a ship but is completely usable for gameplay? Just a wild idea, love this build!

Awww I did this in ts2 a looooong time ago, when you could build partially into the ocean. It was a restaurant with the tables on the top deck and a night club at the bottom. Good tiiiiiimes
I have a seafood restaurant that looks like a giant boat that's sitting on a combination of pools and fountains! I was inspired by the circular windows that actually kinda look like portholes.

I know James was talking about it would be cool to have a pet kennel, but I was thinking it would be cool to have a pet grooming station. Where you can brush out your pet, give them a bath. It would be awesome if you could take a random pet into CAS and give them a make over. XD
Sarah Coleman this yes yes yes they definitely need to add that to the game. Maybe as an update. They could offer it as another job!!!
Another awesome "job" would be running a shelter or pet adoption store. You could take in stray cats and dogs, groom them up nice and set them for "sale" and convince people to take them home. XD

At least they drink from toilets 😂 I do need a water bowl mod tho
I don't even need a separate water bowl (...or actually, even really want one tbh), but a single option to fill a bowl with water would do!
epicexposure they could even do an item that's like the two bowls connected, where one looks permanently full of water, even if they don't need it. But idt it's been in any other sims games before
A O'Neal Yes. I mean if it's about saving money for animations, then why not just make the item without animations. I would have been just as happy having that.

Just bought cats and dogs and it legit took me 2 hours to figure out how to build something. Thank GOD u made a build. U really help me with your builds especially in the Sims 3 when I would be struggling so freaking much!

You can size objects up and down and yet a rug doesn't fit 😂
Yeah, I forget sometimes. He could've sized the vertical blinds down, too. If you size the smallest ones down, they're not too long for those sort of windows, but you do have to use three of them in a row.
This was an AMAZING build I instantly knew I was downloading this in my game and since it was so cool I couldn't decide whether if I wanted it as a house or a vet! My favorite part was probably either the exterior or built-in pet sore the stacked pet bowls was an awesome idea! All your vids and builds are the best.

I literally almost used this vet clinic when I was opening my own vet clinic but didn't want the apartment so passed, didn't realize it was yours. That's awesome!
His end goal on wags to riches should be to buy this vet and use it.
The back bit could be when the employees get stressed, or a smoke break (I know that's not available in sims)

lmao I've been folliowing James' channels for *five* years, there is absolutely an attempt at a schedule- 5-6 days a week at 2am Sydney time. This year's only been weird because he's travelled a lot, got sick from those travels a few times, and also moved house.

lil.tater not long until Christmas! By the time you get the pack, all the bugs and glitches currently in it will have been perfected so your game will run beautifully. Always a bright side :)

I have an elder dog in my current household and the dog hangout lot trait, and he hates ALL OF THE STRAYS THAT PASSES BY and fights all of them on my porch 😂, he doesn't have the aggressive trait but he does remind me of those stereotypical old man that hates everyone and yells at them to get off his lawn lol 😂😂

I was running a vet in my game and this sim kept stealing my pet food bowls (and they were full of food mind you)... 3 stolen bowls later I built a separate room for pets only (with a door for employees and the robot vacuum, love that thing, so they can clean up the space) so the sim would stop stealing my bowls. it turned out really cute because she can't fit through a doggy door! teach her not to steal my bowls! but yeah, I have a real problem with klepto sims.

You should do an LP vets! Loved the video - you are such a talented designer and make it so interesting to watch. The overall design is just like an architects and I’m sure you could get away with applying to be an architect or maybe applying to design base games. God, if you made them literally everyone would be playing because base games would be incredible! Please keep up the hard work. I only found you last week and I am already addicted! You always make your builds look so realistic and I can actually imagine people living there! xxx

Your building videos inspired me to try and create base game only builds that looks nice! I can't afford all the different expansions and stuff packs for Sims 4, and I'm sure I'm not the only one... so I want to try and create really nice homes of all different kinds from the items only available in the base game! Not sure how it will turn out but the building and decorating is my favorite part of Sims so I'm looking forward to it!

James I need your advice im getting a new dog in january and I need help choosing what breed so anyone plz leave suggestions
Emma Daly art and vlogz there’s so much to consider! Size, shape, coat are all important, and especially the nature and disposition of the breed. Also consider any genetic defects or potential problems with the breed! People often forget that a lot of dog breeds can be afflicted with problems like breathing (pugs, bulldogs), hip dysplasia (German shepherds, Great Danes), bladder stones (Dalmatians), epilepsy, heart disease, blindness...do your research before looking into any dog breed.
And adopt, don’t shop!
What size do you want? Do you want a small Chihuahua or a giant Alaskan malamute
Also check out their fur some are high maintenance others not, some have breathing problems like pugs and the like
I agree with the previous comments - it all comes down to what shape, size, coat, colour, temperament etc. of dog that you want. Certain breeds do have predispositions to certain health problems so that's something else you've got to consider.
From experience, I'd say that labrador retrievers are the best (but that's probably because that's the only type of dog my family will even consider owning!). They're so lovable, loyal, kind, affectionate, easy to train... the list goes on. I currently have a chocolate lab. She's still totally bonkers even though she's 8, but I wouldn't change her for the world. She's been my best friend since I was 11, and I can't imagine life without her.
Good luck with whatever breed you choose! I hope you have many years of fun with your new best friend.
Adopt instead of buying, decide on a dog that you can actually take proper care of instead of deciding based on how cute it looks
Go to a shelter and adopt a cute mutt you feel like you're going to like. The risk of genetic defects is small, adopting from a shelter is normally free and they live longer :)
JAMES i love how you build based on meaning, like when you said vets arent comfy for animals and that influenced your design to make the place more appealing to potential worried pets 😀 keep doing what you do, cant wait for more vids! 💞
