This is a nice guy, with a nice story.
The previous owner bought the cars without titling them?
Sounds like he had his contingency planned out ahead of time. 😅
He was a private investigator… he knew the risks and the market.
Them SVT contours are great I worked at a dealer as a porter and one of the sales men who sold svt vehicles had one as a demo. I got to drive it alot he knew I loved it, so he always had me picking up lunch for the salesmen in it, and I kept it spotless for him, I washed every day. Great car
Commitment is key!
I own what you probably saw at his place. 1965 Volvo PV544 Sport
Great story
Though for sure it would be
John Ficarra
😂
I bought 13 Honda S2000's during covid. I would get them for 1/3 to 1/2 of the asking price and flip them for double the next day. Good days.
The act contour is so underrated. I always wanted one
"Original miles." Not one of those miles was accumulated on another car and transferred to this one.
Finally a very good story teller. Come back again!
Its nice to hear about cars that are rare but not necessarily really expensive
I went shopping for deals during lockdown too. Bought 3 cars delivered to my house sight unseen 😂
I also like to live dangerously :D
Nice guy but it looks like a Beck full replica. Better pics of the under carriage would help.
Who does a motor rework, chassis rework and trashes the hand welded/ built metal body?
Does Beck even go that deep?
I have a 99 SVT Contour. 3L turbo
I like this guy. Hope to see more of him on the channel!
Fyi the SVT doesn't have automatic seat belts...
I paid cash for my m3 during covid and got $5g's off.
Should have made a mold or 3D scan of the jacking point plugs in the SVT bodykit to reproduce. Those are almost always gone on the ones I see.
The speedster is beautiful but for some reason I have always wanted a Ford contour SV.T.! My uncle had one when I was young and have always wanted one since
Great story, I like this guy
Wonderful story
Good story, you are allowed back mate.
I loved my old Contour SVT, by today's standards its not too much but back then it was fabulous!
No chance am I meeting a guy at a motel to buy a car.
Same.
Why not?
@@beforeyourimmigrants8471 - What if he wants some hanky panky?
Was this car in Saratoga Springs, NY by chance? If not, it is a beautiful car. I'd LOVE to have one as I always wanted one since I saw James Dean driving and, sadly, Dylan of 90210. :)
This dude soft doxxed the owner wtf man… Rare Porsche, remote part of New York, dude got cheated on in 2019…. Just saying man
what else would you expect from a jew......
If the guy cared about it he woudn't have told a random car buyer about getting cheated on.
This is the most long islands thing
Kool story do come back a big hi from New Zealand
Lol i love when they mention delaware on here fuck yeah
I guess from your username that you're from Delaware. Hi neighbor, I am too.
Great video
I never understand the "cash" argument. What else are you going to buy it with?
I was surprised how popular trading is. At least out here in California
did this guy just spend more time geeking out over a cheap Ford econocar than a '57 Porsche 356 Speedster??
A beck body is fiberglass, I don’t care how nice it is, that car is a kit. And cash was in short supply during Covid?!
must be nice to see something and grab a bundle of cash and go get it
This is a car dude.
1:44 a lot of cash was around during Covid
Maybe for you.
Is this same car from Top Gun?
Did he really posted a pic of the previous owner? 😳
His voice reminds me a lot of Norm Mcdonald
Cash is King
Opposed to what
Was that the same type of Porsche Eddie Murphy drove in 48hrs.?
Didn’t that horse lady from top gun drive one of these?
Yes !😂😂😂😂😂
I know her!
What’s the difference between paying cash and being approved for a loan (cash)…? People are dumb. A number is a number and at the end of the day it’s in your bank account regardless. I sell cars private and idiots always say “I have cash” … now what? All that matters is the sale price regardless of how someone gets there lol. Prove me wrong.
Sometimes because sellers have unethical or illegal reasons for wanting untraceable cash, which isn’t great
Finance works when interest rates are low.
@@bryangilmer671 in CA you submit a REG 138 which is a release of liability stating the buyer, price etc. still makes no sense. This guy consistently says “caaaash” as if it’s some sort of badge of honor. Very odd.
"it's currently in the shop getting tuned" Never understood how people don't maintenance and service their own automobiles. I understand taking one in for a trans rebuild or complete engine swap, but what kind of car person are you really if you don't work on your own stuff?
Remember, time is money, some people don't have the time, just imagine a yacht or jet, you gonna wanna do all that maintenance or pay someone?
A car person who knows what they don't know, and would rather pay someone who does this daily to get the job done right
@@arthuralfordI have taken a vehicle to a dealer twice in my life. Both times it took a month longer than they said it would, both times they tried to stick me for unauthorized work, both times they screwed up several things a couple of which could have left me stranded in -20f weather in the middle of nowhere. The steering wheel in my truck still points at 10:00 after a steering box. I left it as a reminder not to trust a shop because they screw up too.
I live and work on the road full time. Not sure how the hotel would fancy me doing an oil change in their parking lot.
@@freighter1097 I did injector o-rings in my f350 diesel in a hotel parking lot. That’s the whole air intake, all the intercooler piping, some electrical, valve covers, and gaskets to pull the injectors. Keep their parking lot clean and no one really cares.
Wish he told us how it was listed wrong, did not learn the art of the cash lowball at all
Cool
Story but zero lowballing tips

This guy sounds like he's one of the rats from Jerma's Rat movie
Imagine going through life so paranoid you carry a gun everywhere and you second guess everybody.
Of course cowboy hat & boots.
It's not paranoia, it's preparedness. It's no different than having a fire extinguisher in your kitchen or wearing your seat belt every time you go out. You're not expecting to get into a crash but it can happen any time.
@@bwofficial1776 Never had one. Never needed one. Unless you're in a fuct up area....or a trumpster (1776 and all that horsh!t.) A fire extiguisher's not the only way to put out a fire. It's not the only form of self defense.
@@bwofficial1776facts 💯
We'd have to discuss the gun before I'd come out with all that cash
Hm...."cool looking"???
This guy's kid will be in the comments defending his dad like he did the last time.
Zzzzzz.
by far the most jewish vinwiki episode yet. L!
