It is genuinely baffling how true this actually is. Literally everything on this list is true but I have one more for you. Cleanliness. Along with that free time comes more time and energy to clean. With nothing to do during those hours and having that energy it's like the perfect storm for cleaning. My lifestyle is incredibly more clean

I truly wish I had the amount of motivation and or courage Youguys have .. I’ve been dealing with bipolar depression since I was 13 I’m now 22 and within the last year I’ve been drinking heavily to cope with the mental pain I truly have no clue how to escape
This is my 3rd day sober I’m so proud of myself I woke up feeling so good and instead of buying a can of Smirnoff smash I went and got me a smoothie! I should’ve been did this 🎉
@@deliennemoncrieft1688 Ive noticed a massive difference - i dont feel anxious anymore, lot more calmer, Im a little restless at night but I expected that- I guess over time it will go away
I gave up alcohol and I thought I would feel more motivation and energy to become more physically active, but then I remembered that I was always unmotivated and low on energy even before I picked up drinking. So quitting it didn't change my lazy unmotivated personality. I still never went back to drinking because I'm saving money.
One important thing when trying to cut out is to not hang around people who are drinking. You have to separate yourself until it's manageable. Now I can be around people friends/family who are not drinking. Im no longer tempted after some of the amazing results after only 2 months in.
Iam so happy for you brother , I was really drunk 3 times over 5 year period, it gets easier stay sober after 1 year , but most importantly don’t visit places where alcohol that helped me a lot.
This is very inspirational. About a month ago my husband was talking about and wanting to gradually stop drinking and smoking. Always said he drank because of “something”. Before we met he was always drinking every weekend with his buds. But there’s also more drinking he was exposed to growing up. I always told anyone I have ever spoken to/known; you’re the only person that can control your life/your future at the end of the day.
Congratulations bro and you killing it out there in them yards and I appreciate your motivation talks as being an independent business owner Ain't Easy but if we all stick together and pull one another up spiritually it's nothing we cant do 💪
I’m going on a week of no alcohol and definitely don’t miss the groggy mornings the day after a night of drinking. I’m actually traveling and decided to cut alcohol for more energy and yeah I’m not missing it.😎
I gave up alcohol 14 days ago and already feel so much better. I hike or jog 5-6 days a week. I probably won't make any physically changes because I love to eat though lol
Thanks bro for sharing! I’m on a break for a while too so I can focus on getting in the best shape. It’s been 15 days and I’m striving for 6 months. I might stop drinking period. It’s not a good feeling just for a quick buzz.
I noticed absolutely no difference after 90 days without alcohol. I stopped alcohol on Jan 1st this year and stopped denying myself at the end of March after absolutely no weight loss, no improvement in mood, no change in weight, no change in physique. In fact I managed to achieve the best body I've ever had even when I was drinking daily.
I'm having the opposite effect, 2 months or sober, after over 15 years of putting vodka in my coffee at 415am and over a case of beer all day long. Now I'm getting over weight, depressed, anxious. Just going threw the motions. No joy. Never had a hangover tho
I broke my leg in early November and as a result of my use I had basically just ignored anything to do with my health…especially my weight. I was weighed at the orthopedic surgeons office and the number literally shocked TF out of me. I knew I was staring down the barrel of at least two full months of sitting on my ass and I knew I had two choices…stop or don’t. I could come out of this better or I could come out of this worse. I decided that this was an answered prayer and it was time to stop. Almost 3 months later and I’m 32 pounds down and so thankful I broke my freaking leg❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am a weekend binge drinker.. i am now 1 week sober.. going back to my fitness routine from tomorrow.. want to lose 15 kilos before the end of the year and also get my sleep cycle and mental health bsck on track..and sobriety is the key to it all..
Approaching my second week sober after drinking every night to ease my mind before going to sleep. Not only did i come to the realization im probably killing most of my gym gains, but the alcohol really wasnt doing much for me like i thought it did. Ashwaghanda and melatonin have definitely done me justice in my nightly routine. ✅
I just got sober again 2 days and I feel peaceful and joyful to live another day sober, Last year I had 6 months sober and I lost 40 pounds I was fit and I was running marathons, and made allot of money ,then I relapse and got fat for 6 months
I've always loved drinking. I'm very social person and know many people. When I go to a bar somebody is always there to buy me a drink. After 2 or 3 I feel confident and great. But the next thing I'm drunk. Then have a hangover, then have another drink to feel better. I'm by no means dependent on alcohol as I can go weeks without drinking no problem. But when I start to drink I find it so hard to say no. I cant imagine going into a bar and drinking coke or orange juice. I'd love to try though
Not sure if it's mentioned, but if you are considered 'relatively healthy' in terms of metabolism and quality of food intake (so you eat mostly clean, in good shape and athletically capable from earlier life exercise while doing only household/yard chores, abs sometimes slightly showing in the morning), weekend alcohol habits will result in a weekly digestion process where...by Tues, Weds and Thursday your stomach will be in tip-top shape and capable of quick digestion. But as soon as you start drinking (beer in my case) on Thursday or Friday, the stomach region visibly bloats forwards, sideways, and will stay like that until Monday going into Tuesday. When you end over to tie shoes, your stomach flab which may be minimal will feel like it's folding over itself for half of the week. And even if you are sleeping by 11pm on the weekends, by Sunday night, and even Monday night, your sleep will become disrupted by your Friday and Saturday drinking ..so your drinking actions spill over into the early workweek until Tuesday. And then the process repeats. You might be able to get away with it through the 20s, but you will occasional notice it in your 30s, and it's almost a definite repeatable occurrence in your 40s. What also happens is you end up drinking way more than what you were expecting... so 3 beers ends up becoming 6-7 beers, and it just sits in the stomach while your sleeping. Speaking from experience, it's not a very fun cycle to be dealing with.

I've started my no alcohol journey as of yesterday. I tallied up the alcohol purchases through my bank account and realized that I was spending over $750 a month on booze. That, and the fact that I've gained almost 90 lbs and hate the way I look.
