Another great video from Mr. Camtasia himself! Thanx
Haha thanks! Glad you liked it :-)
Great easy to follow video Rob
Another excellent video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you :-)
Very helpful. By recording on your laptop (without a secondary monitor) are you limiting yourself to 1080? Do you normally publish your videos to TH-cam through Camtasia or upload through Studio? Lastly, when you are recording live, do you use any type of switchbox for your cameras. Let’s say you want to show something from overhead versus a front facing camera.
If you're referring to your screen recordings, then yes, you would only be able to record a screen in 1080p if recording on a 1080p screen. HOWEVER, if you're making a 4K video where the camera is recording in 4K, then you can still edit that 4K video in Camtasia, even though your monitor is 1080p. You just won't be able to see the increased resolution of the video you're making on your monitor... but others watching your finished video on a 4K monitor will. Also, you can add your 1080p screen recordings to your 4K video and simply upscale them to fit in the larger canvas area (3840 x 2160 for 4K)... that's no problem. As for TH-cam, I export from Camtasia as an mp4 and then I use TH-cam Studio to upload to youtube... that's just the "flow" I've gotten used to. And your last question... I do use an ATEM Mini Pro HDMI switcher to switch between cameras when I live stream, yes. However, I do not use that when I'm recording a video that I'm going to edit for youtube later, because it's limited to 1080p AND I want the ability to change camera angles during the editing process. SO what I do is I record all my cameras INTERNALLY to an SD card (or if my iPhone is one of the cameras I record it internally)... then I transfer all those recordings to my Macbook, organize, then import all into Camtasia, Sync everything together, then edit. I then have the freedom to switch angles at will (I lock it in when I edit), and also I can have multiple cameras in the canvas at once if I want. I hope that helps :-)
Thanks Rob 😄
how to create fliping icons in camtasia supppose "i want to make a youtube button when we click it flip and become a bell icon" sorry for my bad english
Sounds interesting! I'll have to think about the best way to do that... perhaps a good tutorial for a live stream or future video :-)
Can you make a video on how to insert a new video clip into a track but retain the same audio(narration) ? Camtasia does not, I repeat, does not have a tutorial explaining this. Thank you
Yes I can totally do that. Specifically, are you referring to inserting a new "screen recording" video into a project that already has voiceover? In other words, you want to replace the screen recording by making another one?
@@RobtheMaritimer Yes. What I wanna do Is show the house of the person I am talking about in my video segment (a video clip that shows the Hollywood hills house) and narration (audio track) is uninterrupted at all. So, only video segments change but audio does not.
Ok, got it. If your audio and video are in a Camtasia project on SEPARATE tracks, then it's super simple... simply delete the video clip from its track but don't delete the audio... then put the new video clip in place of the old one. If the timing isn't exactly right you can either trim some from the beginning or end of the new video, OR you can add "Clip Speed" and either speed up or slow down the new video clip until it matches the existing audio. IF your existing video and audio are NOT on separate tracks... they're combined in one track, then right click the clip and select "Separate Video and Audio" and they'll be separated onto separate tracks... then you can do what I explained above. IF the new video you're bringing in has audio in it that you don't want, you can right click it once its in Camtasia and select "silence audio"... or "separate audio and video" and then delete the audio track once they're separated. Sorry for the long response, but hopefully that helps! I've added this to my list of videos to create :-)
@@RobtheMaritimer No. They are not. Or, I don't think they are. Just a video I imported and it is sitting on track one or could be moved to any track. I will try to do what you suggested. Nobody has those step by step instructional videos not even camtasia. They all assume that 'you know the basics' ... it is super hard when you are starting out. We need super detailed and super simple instructional videos on how to make these things work. Thank you so much for the replies !!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely look at adding some more basic editing videos that will hopefully help in this regard :-)
Meat church? Dead cow church.
I think they offer sauces for more than just beef... I believe pork and lamb are also covered :-)
