    You can also use a cool bath to speed up cool down time, I have studied that using an emersion blender can add to much air to formulation which can lead to bacteria growth. I blend until emulsion and then stir rapidly in cool bath to set up.The formulation usually takes about 24 hours to completely set up.

    Caprylic capric triglicerides is actially an oil, basically simply fractionated coconut oil.. You probably mean coco caprylate caprate for the ester...

    Love this video so much. Elise, can you make a face cream where you infuse blue pea flowers / saffron strands in water phase and make a face cream. Blue pea gives a lovely blue and saffron gives a lovely yellow and amazing aroma to the infused product. Please consider!

    You are wonderful! Your video and website helped me finally grasp how to approach making my own eye cream at home, based on my favorite one that was discontinued. Thank you for showing how the glycerin goes in the water phase, and how the shea butter, emulsifiers and oils go in the second phase, as well as how to blend in stages.       @@kay0316 It’s my new daily moisturizer lol For some reason it was a bit stingy on my face at first. It’s gone away since I’ve been using it every day. My friend with eczema/sensitive skin said it BURNED her so not sure what’s up with that since it’s for sensitive skin

    What can I use instead of aloe vera. I have a strong allergy to aloe vera. I love your videos and have used multiple ones to level up my skin and haircare!

      You could use floral waters or hydrosol, or just leave out the aloe vera altogether and add it's allowance to the distilled water 😊

    I think that you should add a jojoba oil or greepseed oil.Although are not comedogenic,but helpful for acne skin.It will be nice idea to add donkey milk,perfect for sensitive skin,ekzema or acne!!!

    Shea butter is known to clog pores though so i would substitute that! I used Shea butter on my face and it broke me out badly

    Shea butter is not classed as comedogenic; this means that shea butter doesn't clog pores. However, it is thick in consistency and- being butter- is a naturally oily substance. For these reasons, you should generally avoid the application of pure shea butter to your face, is it true?

    Is caprylic/caprylic triglyceride fractionated coconut oil? Often sellers have a habit of advertising fractionated coconut oil as mct oil; and others refer to caprylic/caprylic triglyceride as fractionated coconut oil. So, how do I know if I'm really getting caprylic/caprylic triglyceride?!

      You can! You can play around with the ratios. The caprylic capric triglyceride is nice because it makes the moisturizer absorb quickly, most commercial moisturizers use it.
