    SHIRATAKI NOODLES
    4 bags (7oz ea.) Shirataki noodles of choice
    Add noodles to a sieve over the sink to drain. Rinse thoroughly and drain completely.
    Transfer to a skillet over medium-high to high heat with a bit of oil or fat. (Use separate skillets if preparing different noodles for different dishes)
    Cook for about 5 minutes, using tongs to jostle the noodles as they heat through. (Steam is a good sign here, you want the liquid to evaporate.)
    When you hear a squeaking noise while stirring, they’re done! Remove from skillet and store for meal prep.
    CHICKEN & BROCCOLI
    drizzle of oil
    ½ cup chopped onion
    2lbs chicken thighs, cut into cubes or strips
    4-6 cups broccoli florets
    Heat a skillet over high heat with cooking oil or fat. Saute onion for 2-3 minutes.
    Add cubed chicken thighs to hot pan, cooking 4-5 minutes until browned. Turn and cook another 3-5 minutes until cooked through. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
    Add additional oil or fat to the pan over medium heat and add broccoli florets. Saute for a few minutes to brown, then add 1-2 Tablespoons of water, cover with lid, and steam until fork tender.
    Combine ½ cooked chicken with ½ cooked broccoli in 2 separate pans.
    Toss each batch with different sauce. Store separately from noodles until ready to eat.
    CHICKEN FETTUCCINI ALFREDO
    2 bags (7oz ea) Shirataki noodles
    ½ cooked chicken & broccoli
    1 cup Primal Kitchen Garlic Alfredo
    ⅓ - ½ cup chicken bone broth
    ¼ cup nutritional yeast
    Per serving, yields 4:
    268 calories | 11g fat | 14g carbs | 5g fiber | 2g sugars | 30g protein
    9g net carbs
    THAI CURRY CHICKEN & NOODLES
    2 bags (7oz ea) Shirataki noodles
    ½ cooked chicken & broccoli
    1 jar (2 cups) Yai's Thai Yellow Thai Coconut Curry
    ½ cup chicken bone broth
    Per serving, yields 4:
    348 calories | 21g fat | 14g carbs | 5g fiber | 4g sugars | 28g protein
    9g net carbs

      I bake simple chicken breast every Sunday and then use it in salads and easy stir fries depending on what veggies I buy that week. Dinner takes 5-10 min every night and we don't do much take out.

      Burrito bowls are my fave to meal prep! I make extra rice to use in other things and only flavor the burrito half. It's just me and I have a hard time getting thru a giant bag of lettuce but when I have burrito bowls I can throw some in that and use the rest for regular salads.

    Keto works but honestly I felt so tired from the start. I then tried the Agoge diet plan and it also worked, but I didn't feel bad at all, so I'm sticking with the *Agoge diet*.

    You did a good job showing the wide range of products that Thrive Market has to offer, they chose well in sponsoring you. I don't understand people complaining about the sponsorship, this was an informative video despite the advertising and helps reach a lot of people who'd like to eat a certain way but don't know where to start. Plus, everyone's gotta make money.

    My current favorite way to cook broccoli is a splash of water, little bit of butter, sprinkle of salt and poultry seasoning. Toss broccoli. Over glass bowl with plastic wrap and and zap for 5 minutes. Punction some holes and drain water. Toss again. Done.

    The problem with the nut butter pouches is that they aren't recyclable! The cheapest nut butter solution I've found is the make your own nut butter stations available at most natural food stores. The ones near me also allow you to bring your own jar, further reducing the amount of waste! I just keep a few spare glass peanut butter jars on hand to refill.

    The cashew butter is 9g net carbs for 2 tablespoons. Do you recommend something similar with fewer carbs? If not ill just skip it.

    In my experience, Thrive Market is generally NOT less expensive, and was often out of stock on the things I actually wanted. Also, after I canceled, they waited a year and re-enrolled me without my permission....just charged my credit card out of the blue. It was easy enough to get a refund, but now I'm really wary of the company. Also, they shipped me 9 jars of roasted tomatoes in oil, and 7 of them leaked. They didn't want to reimburse me for them, but after some argument, did so. Good video otherwise.

    What is an alternative to coconut milk? I'm allergic to coconut and find a lot of keto recipes call for it to add a creamy texture.

      Regina Weiss cooking it in a liquid is always a safe way to keep meat moist and getting a meat thermometer is such a game changer and they’re actually pretty cheap it’s worth it if you’re going to cook a lot for yourself

    If you don't live in the U.S. or other places where Thrive delivers, then the value of this video significantly decreases. Otherwise, good tips. I prefer videos where they show me how to easily make the sauces from scratch.

    Regarding the Konjac noodles, you're best off just to dump them into boiling water for about 5-7 minutes. This cooks them thoroughly. It's worked best for me.

    How did you calculate zero net carbs? Broccoli and cashews have net carbs.

      You deduct the total amount of fiber from the carbs and divide that by the number of portions.

      @@soubifan700 Thanks, but you misunderstood. For example, 2 ounces of broccoli has 2.3 NET carbs. Net is after the fiber has been subtracted. So my question is how did she come up with zero, when at least 2 of the ingredients have net (not total) carbs.
