Bay Bridge Troll

The Oakland Museum of California and the Toll Bridge Program Oversight Committee are now providing the first public access to the world famous Bay Bridge Troll. After the Loma Prieta Earthquake, artist Bill Roan created a steel troll to protect the repaired bridge, until a new bridge could be built. Its final resting place is yet to be determined but you can see it up close, through mid-February, at the Oakland Museum.
