I’ve had my Romeo zero on my Mosseberg MC2sc for almost two years. It is dead on centered. It has never failed and I am extremely accurate with it (over 1500 practice rds). I absolutely trust my gun and I pray I NEVER have to use it because I will not miss.
Shoot one shot at the center, ( the shot will be off center) then put the red dot on that hole and adjust the dot down to the center. And repeat as needed. 15 yards distance works perfectly. Just a different way to do it of you so choose.
@@christophersoper1047 I didn't use a vice and had no problems, its dead on accurate to my surprise. So I left it alone. But if you want to use a vice call your local range and ask if they have a pistol vice. I think I just got really lucky by just resting it on my range bag because it only took a few shots to dial it in. So if I were you I'd try without a vice, but if you have trouble try a vice. But if you watch that Sig video it will tell you exactly how to do it free hand. It was helpful. So I'd recommend watching it. If I remember correctly its only a 5 minute video.
Just bought a new Sig P365XL and a separate purchase of the Romeo Zero. Put the red dot on the gun and it was a perfect zero out of the box. Didn’t have to make any adjustments. I’m wondering if it was initially set it for the P365XL from the factory since it was made for this gun. Either way I was very happy with it.
I’d like to know which direction you’re turning the side adjustments I would also like to know where you’re placing the red dot it would be nice if we could see the target
I received my Romeo zero about 2 months ago. When I tried to zero it, the screws “stripped” and I couldn’t zero it. I sent it back to Sig and they said they would send me a new RD. Still waiting (> than 6 weeks). Disappointed in quality of RD, ease of zeroing, and Sig service. I own 320(with Romeo 1), 365, and 365 XL.
@Dallas Portland Please post a follow up on how the new RD is working out. I already have my P365XL and am looking into a Romeo Zero. Do you know what caused the stripping of your screws?
I just received a new Romeo zero from Sig. My first serial # was 146. This new one was #7983. It also came with adhesive strip which my first one did not. I took it to the range and was able to zero it this time without difficulty. Seems to be working fine. With that said, you may also want to consider the new Holosun 507k micro RD, made to fit 365 XL.
I’ve only had the Romeo zero for a short time and so far the second one seems fine. However, the Holosun is aluminum, has easy access battery replacement, and fits directly on Sig 365 XL..it also is new, but has good reviews. Price is a little higher than zero. Good luck!
I love how people blame optic for being bad and being a bad shot lol. DUDE JUST CAUSE YOU WEAR JORDANS DOESN'T MEAN YOU DUNK LIKE JORDAN! Practice, usually its the user.
Am I wrong in saying that the adjustment is actually moving the impact on the target. i.e. up moves the bullet up and is really moving the red dot down?
I always think of it this way, "Chase the bullseye". If my impacts are 2" left (windage) of the bullseye and 2" high (elevation), then I need to move my red dot 2" to the right and 2" down. It is best to work with only one perimeter at a time (windage or elevation). I hope that helps! Happy shooting!
I tried zeroing mine a month ago, ended up stripping the elevation screw. The problem with the RZ is that it turns but doesn't click so you don't know how far you are turning. Hopefully they change that to clicks in the future, cause that turning is not helping.
Im about ready to toss mine in the trash. Between the retarded main button placement which lacks feel/feedback, the horrible adjustment turrets that don't click or give any kind of feedback whatsoever, the fuzzy dot, and needing to remove the optic for battery changes, this thing is just pure garbage. Bought the 365xl with this optic mounted because I figured it couldn't be THAT bad... I knew it wasn't the best but I figured that it would suffice for a while at least and I could upgrade at some point later on down the road. I was wrong. I spent a lot of money on gun stuff in the past few weeks but as soon as my wallet recovers I'm going to a 507k asap.
@@josephsantana3094 I'm still debating on just leaving it without a dot sight, or putting in a different barrel to possibly just add a comp or a suppressor or just get a crown barrel for better accuracy and feeding ramp loads

My windage knob is really stiff and makes a hard CLICK. But elevation just spins. Wonder if it's gonna maintain zero. Also, the built in rear fixed sights are WAY off
Yes...there is no audible click and when first adjusting the sight, may be stiff at first. Non-the less, I never had any issue with Red Dot drift. When I go out shooting next time, ill have to see how far off the built in rear sight is when aligned with the front site.
Not in my case. I have just posted a question based on the fact I zeroed my red dot sight with excellent accuracy but the “iron” sights are now resulting in a much lower shot. And I don’t see how to correct that without affecting the red dot sight.
@@carlahlers9454 I was curious of this also. I just installed the red dot and when aiming down sight lining up the iron sights I don't even see the red dot.
