absolutely one of my favorite actors of all time. But the best actors are: Day Lewis, Dicaprio, Pacino, De Niro, Bale, Depp, Gary Oldman,Rourke. Denzel is in the same league though.
When Denzel gives that thousand yard stare, it’s almost unnerving, because it makes me think what headspace did he have to put himself in to get into that character

@@jillfromatlanta427 I think this was clearly discussed and shown by Susan’s comment on the phone. That is why part 3, without giving too much away is so satisfying and makes the whole series come full circle. Susan clearly was Robert’s friend and he returns all her favors, big time.
The Equalizer franchise with Denzel is one that never lost quality across its three films and I love how the mystery of who he was before and what he has done remains, even to us the audience. If they ever want to explore his past though, I hope they do it absolute justice!
The mystery is always better. Always. And whenever the movies explain things, they do it in the stupidest spoon feeding way. Like the little boy story. Most of these just showed the bully/bad guys thought no one could touch them, until they met Robert, so it was always satisfying when Robert even the odds for the underdogs getting bullied. He was the shepherd protecting the innocents. The dynamic that got me(hoping if they ever do a prequel that we get to see his hit squad with Dave(Pedro Pascal). It was sad that his former friend and team member killed Susan, his other friend. Tell me I'm wrong, Dave, struck a cord.
I loved the way Denzel & Fuqua had him play Robert. I was a huge fan of the old Edward Woodward CBS series of the 80s and thought this movie series was splendid and was a good take and homage to the old series. The reasoning for McCall’s trek to Italy was quintessential Equalizer, “Got a Problem, Odds Against You, Call the Equalizer. “ The last film really reminded me of an old Western where the gunfighter who has done some unspeakable things is looking for redemption and he befriends, protects, and defends a small town from big baddies. The Italian locations were breathtakingly beautiful. A nice happy ending and good closure for an entertaining well done trilogy of films.
The best part about Denzel's character is how he shifts so quickly from a genuinely kind and gentle man to shark-eyed, hollowed out killer with deep regrets. He looks at his opponents like a cat playing with a mouse. He is actually frightening.
Denzel is definitely the best actor in the business; why? Because he is humble, believes in God, and appreciates what God has given him and what he has worked hard for, and treats others with respect. If you expect to succeed in ANYTHING #1 Love God #2 Work hard #3 Appreciate what you’ve been given #4 share all you have with others
All murders committed by "The Equalizer" are epic. I rewatch these moments from time to time. Particularly unusual scene was a robbery of the store, where the murder of the robber happens off-screen, and Robert puts the hammer back to the shelf

" when you pray for rain 🌧️ you gotta be able to deal with the mud!" One of the coldest sayings
I love how he can speak Italian fluently but still speaks to them in english. One of the best series ever made, Denzel is such a great actor.
His talent of delivering his dialogue is impeccable, on top of everything else he stands tall on the villains in all these films,,,,,love him!
I legit believe that Denzel is a secret bad ass righting wrongs everywhere!!
Well, yeah.👍
Sounds good but he trained for these roles and it fits his way of thinking now ,DUDE IS BLESSED WITH INSIDE
You too?!?
My favorite actor Denzel Washington. I love him.
Denzil Washington is one of the greatest actors ever and also one of the world's greatest human beings! 😁👍
Denzel Washington is undoubtedly an extraordinary actor, but his brilliance truly shines when surrounded by a remarkably talented supporting cast...
By far the best actor who also culturely very knowledgeable person
This is a Man On Fire!
MOF … Fantastic movie.
Denzel is an angel sent to defend the weak
More like a demon
You mean innocent people...
It's just a movie
If you're ever with Denzel and he looks on his watch, run...
Denzel&Morgan Freeman 2 of the best actors
Can't argue with that. Would you permit Keanu Reeves to join them?
Badass is an understatement.
My Man!!! He has the skills of a Gladiator and the attitude of A Hannibal Lector. He’s a Professional assassin.
Denzel is a fantastic actor and human
The best part about Denzel's character is how he shifts so quickly from a genuinely kind and gentle man to shark-eyed, hollowed out killer with deep regrets. He looks at his opponents like a cat playing with a mouse. He is actually frightening.
Denzel is an absolute badass while staying cool as a cucumber 😎
Denzel is definitely the best actor in the business; why? Because he is humble, believes in God, and appreciates what God has given him and what he has worked hard for, and treats others with respect. If you expect to succeed in ANYTHING #1 Love God #2 Work hard #3 Appreciate what you’ve been given #4 share all you have with others
very telling you leave the "respect" out of your equation.
Funny how your name is Robert Johnson… should’ve given your soul to the devil! WAY cooler!
@@hansr.9037 Not really. The first 4 will lead to respect.
@@liquidmagma laughable imo
@@hansr.9037 Sorry you're lost.
By far the best actor I’ve ever watched. Not only is he a great actor he is a great man. That’s rare in hollyweird.
The fact some of the scene from the Equalizer was improv makes it that much better.
Absolutely, Denzel is a great actor. Really well fit to such roles.
Love this guy.
All murders committed by "The Equalizer" are epic. I rewatch these moments from time to time. Particularly unusual scene was a robbery of the store, where the murder of the robber happens off-screen, and Robert puts the hammer back to the shelf
I look forward to re-reading this comment on the news, as the 3-letters say, "He was known to us".
And returns rhe woman's ring
About the only times the movies got it perfectly right were the mysteries.
"The murder of the robber" is an oxymoron. There are no "murders" of the bad guys.
He does not murder anyone.....
When you pray for the rain, you gonna deal with the mud
Denzel is such a gifted actor. Brilliant artist. Nuanced in revealing the character within the story within the character.
Denzel is my favorite actor .
