Kudos to Costco for keeping prices down with their pizzas and hot dogs. I just wished they would bring back the combo and veggie pizza. I also wish they bring back the chocolate dipped ice cream they had several years ago before the pandemic.

I loved the Chicken Caesar Salad but they discontinued it here in San Clemente before Covid. It used to be $4.99!! Also, won't get hot dogs anymore since Covid when they stopped having the chopped onion dispenser. I can't have their dogs without onions. They also discontinued sauerkraut that you could ask for which they had them refrigerated by the cashier. Thumbs down to the food court, Melaney from SoCal

Me too! I buy two at a time and shred up the chicken. I put it in smaller ziplocs and freeze it so anytime I need precooked chicken for soups or casseroles, I can pull out a bag and have it be enough for whatever I’m cooking. I usually get about 8 individual ziplocs from 2 chickens.
We don’t have a Costco yet in Rhode Island but hopefully one is coming in the next few years. BJ’s Wholesale Club has a similar rotisserie chicken to Costco’s. I often use it for Buffalo chicken dip or chicken salad after the first day or so. Very economical for the price as well.

Pre Covid, here in the Vancouver, Canada area, our Costcos also had sauerkraut, onion and jalapeño toppings. I was told by a food court employee that these condiments were initially stopped because of Covid and then permanently axed as a cost cutting measure. We only now have the little mustard, ketchup and relish packs. Still a great value.
The fork thing is why I always keep extras in my glove compartment. Living in California has taught me to anticipate low level of service and consideration for the need of utensils. If you don't ask, they usually won't provide it.
Where I live now in Central America the Costco’s here are called Pricesmart. The food courts have all of those items you tried but they also have a cheeseburger, chicken burger, french fries, chicken pieces and chicken wings. The burgers and fries are good but the chicken pieces and wings are amazing.
I really enjoy your reviews. I don’t have a Costco close to me only a Sams club. Also have only been to Vegas once but used your reviews as guidance. We’re not gamblers so our trip highlights were seeing red rock, Hoover dam and dining. I love seeing your excitement and disappointment ,its like talking food with great friends. I have a brilliant idea - hot dog & a half-slice of pizza + drink. Dog & a full slice is a bit much for most people - cutting it down to a half slice would make for the perfect cheap lunch combo.
I really like the new Caesar salad! I take it home and cut up the chicken because the pieces are too big. 2 meals for me which makes it a good deal even though it’s the most expensive item.

I love Costco's Food Court. Thanks for your review. Usually pick up the hot dog/drink combo on my way out for a quick lunch. Can't beat $1.50 plus tax.👍 They used to have a polish dog that was so good but no more. Haven't tried Starry yet. Pepsi stopped making Sierra Mist 6 months ago and replaced it with Starry. Not a big fan of their pepperoni or cheese pizzas but they used to sell a combo pizza that was really good. They no longer sell it.😥 Sorry you didn't get the churro. They're pretty good but kind of glad you didn't get it because all the cinnamon sugar would have gotten all over your car. Cleaning up that mustard on your steering wheel is a breeze compared to sugar.
Hi Catherine and Derek Some of the food at Costco is really good. The hotdogs I would put as number one the pizza I would put as number two and everything else is pretty good. However, considering the prices at inflation, I think they’re all good I wish there were more restaurants that would price their meals like Costco for maybe a day or a week or some period of time out of the year would be nice. You can’t buy a whole pizza that size for only $9.99. We used to buy a bunch of whole pizzas from Costco to feed hungry boys playing tournaments between games. 😊

Guys, keep eating utensils in your car... I have a large plastic pencil holder that fits under my passenger seat or in the door with knives, forks, spoons and a small pair of scissors. Chopsticks too.. 😄👍❤️❤️
The berry sundae has always been my favorite. I used to get one two or three times a month until I realized how many calories are in them. I love the chicken bake as well. Costco has good food and great prices.

We also love the hotdogs. We live about 20 minutes from our Costco and I take them home, remove the dog and put in a frying pan to blister them. Then we add our toppings (slaw and chili), and yes_ it is the best hotdog we can find. I don't even bother getting the drinks (we are not Pepsi people).
Here where I live, to which I think is more common, we do not have a mango smoothie at Costco. Instead, we have a berry smoothie, using a combination of strawberries, blackberries, and acai (I think).
Turns out, the berry smoothie was eventually replaced by the mango smoothie for some time, however the mango smoothie didn't receive as much a liking as the berry smoothie, and and thus, the mango smoothie was reverted back to the berry smoothie. Try going to another Costco to see the berry smoothie or possibly other exclusive foods, some foods are only available in certain locations. Some foods are universal, such as the hot dog combo and the pizza, meaning that there are available no matter where you are.

The Pizza is always tasty but I agree with both of you, the hotdogs are beefy and longer than the bun and well worth the money. Only $1.50 with a drink!!!!! BEST DEAL EVER!!!!! I loved them freshly dipped ice cream bars rolled in almonds. That version went away years before the pandemic due to the higher cost of almonds😢

Absolutely delicious! They don't give you chickens that suffered from malnutrition like some other places. They are huge!
The salad - put the lid back on and shake it. Get the dressing mixed.
