    Another great video and for people that have just started to learn to drive these videos are excellent as you can visually learn to.
    Concerning this learner driver he started really well and he has the confidence in general driving.
    Yes there were some serious faults but silly faults that can be ironed out with a bit more practice.
    I did however notice the learner driver kept his hand on the gear stick most of the time which is not good for the gears if you put to much pressure on the selector, which obviously leaves one handed steering which isn’t good for long periods of time which could result in a fail possibly.
    Overall not a bad drive.

    12:16 oh dear, moments like these really kicks in my confusion and anxiety, as its a guessing game who will make the first move
    15:09 they say resting your off hand in the stick will give unintentional strain wear and tear in your manual transmission, yes its also a bad habit even if you are confident you can control the steering wheel with only one hand

    • @wumpty93
      @wumpty93 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      At 12:16 the learner should of stopped slightly earlier to give clearance to the other car. They can't tuck in anywhere so to fix the situation you give them way.

    • @handsomesquidward5160
      @handsomesquidward5160 ปีที่แล้ว

      How does having one hand on the gear stick create wear and tear? As long as you're not changing gears without first putting the clutch down I dont see an issue.

    Love your videos thank you. I had my first test in 2020 during covid times. I am an "old" learner drive automatic but struggle with anxiety. I failed as I was rushing and went ahead at a junction that I should have waited. Found out that junction was very dangerous so has now been made into a roundabout. Took my second attempt yesterday. I was alot more relaxed and confident. It was alot better than during covid as I could complete the whole test. Sadly my maneuver was the last 15 min of the test, everything was good until then, had the park up on right and reverse, then was focused on looking behind so didn't see the approaching car so didn't stop 😭 I had only 3 minors so would have passed. So annoyed but will try again for sure.

      Oh no! I know it’s hard to hear, but failing a driving test can sometimes be a blessing in disguise. It’s the best way to improve your skills for life. As that’s where’s it’s going to be the most important!
      Good luck for your test next time :)

  • @barsorrro

    Nitpicking about the show-and-tell answer (... I'm a car-buff, sorry, can't help it :D ...) : it's pretty important to note that the measurement needs to be made only after the engine has been off for a while (let's say 5-10 minutes). You need to let most of the oil drain back down from the engine to the oil sump before you can measure its level accurately.

    Hi Aman. Firstly can i say i am glad i found your TH-cam channel and Instagram. I love watching your videos of you teaching as find them very helpful and informative. A question if i may on this video with Louis. Around 5.40 you ask Louis to park on the left somewhere safe? Louis stops opposite a junction? But i guess it is classed as safe as it has parking bays opposite (not safe if no parking bays) would it had been a fault if he had stopped there if no parking bays opposite the junction? And do you always teach signal to pull up or away even if nothing around? just silly things that i feel will help me learn to be better. Thank you :)

    If you're going to wait a lil longer, change down to one and keep clutch up to biting point. Uphill release handbrake and gently with the gas pedal. The car won't stall. But if you wait with gear 2 the car will stall 😂 that goes below 10mph and car looses power to move
