My mirrors where pretty clean, nevertheless I tried to clean them what didnt work...
When I turned on with open cover I was wondering what makes the lamp stop when it moves during warmup... At downside of the cover, right from the glass there is a black/white/black area where the lamp is parking. But the white part was not anymore very white, so I put a white paper there (with tixo :) and the next try was successfull, no more error 6 !!!
My scanner is working fine again. yippieh

Unfortunately, cleaning all 5 mirrors didn't fix the "Scanner error -Switch Off". Any ideas?
