    I just wanted to tell you how much I love your wok. I've been using it at LEAST once a week and it's like non stick! Easy to cook in, not to heavy, easy to clean and beautiful!!! I just love it!!! Of course I love your recipes too! ♥️

      Hm is her wok?

    • @crosbonit
      @crosbonit 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@13chaks Yes. These woks are produced by her company. Buy one immediately. It's a fine product. But if we could only get her to STOP mixing food with her bare hands. It makes absolutely no sense at all for her to be doing that in light of the fact that every five years or so there's a devastating disease coming from her ancestral homeland. She lives here in the U.S., but that doesn't matter. People need to STEP UP and leave third world habits behind once they come to more advanced civilizations.

      crosbonit what? Have you ever heard of soap??

    • @MHarenArt
      @MHarenArt 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@13chaks I have her wok too and LOVE it! It needs to be seasoned (like a cast iron skillet) but once that is done, it is super to use!!

      @@crosbonit Sometimes using on'es hands is at the heart of cooking. I know how to keep it clean. I would be more concerned about "clean" and fresh ingredients that my own hands.

    Your recipes are amazing. I spent three years in S. Korea in the eighties and I found how I miss that style of cooking from your recipes. Of course Korean and Chineese cooking differ you have brought back wonderful memories. American based oriental restaraunts come close sometimes, many times not. You do every time.

    Once again your video has brought back some very happy memories. When I lived in NYC my favorite Chinese place was and still is Hop Shing at #9 Chatham Sq.near Confucius Plaza. My friend Wai, from Hong Kong turned me on to this place. It is the best Dim Sum restaurant in NYC. We went there every other weekend. The only other dish we ordered was something they called Steak with Chinese Broccoli. The steak was not sliced but served whole, still delicious. If you ever make something called Peking Pork Chops that will be another great memory. My friend showed me all the places that the Chinese people are at. Your show is a pleasant trip down memory lane for me almost every time I watch it. Thanks 🐼✌💗

    This recipe is the best so far! Thanks, Mandy! I used gai-lan( chinese broccoli) for a more authentic chinese dish! Yes, you do need a dash of fish sauce to elevate the taste at the end. I also liked the flank steak- tender and more flavorful. By the way, I’ve already tried your Hot & Sour and Chicken Congee recipes and they’re sooo good and my friends love it!❤

      The Satay Sauces are already a bit thick, making thickening less important. If this were made with a more liquid sauce, a starch thickener would probably be added at the end of cooking.
