4. Purane Components - I still backs my point
5. Wingman - I guess(i can be wrong) even the bear 650 doesn’t have it and if classic is launched at the same price as that of bear, it won’t have it either.
Having said that, I appreciate your point of riding classic 650 and then giving a review but as i said classic 650 is shotgun 650 painted differently so won’t be much of a difference. The handlebar is different which can help but handlebars are something that you can change in shotgun too.
While i disagree with a lot of your takes Nd also agree on some, the one thing I hate about the Classic is the rear suspension.
Atleast 3 journalists reported a stiff shock. Dunno whose idea was to put a stiff shock on a classic!
@ the idea was to just repaint shotgun and call it classic 650

Classic 650 is better than shotgun
@@pritam___3811 can you please explain how ?
Doesn’t have showa
Doesn’t come with updated(sort of) cluster
Doesn’t come with alloys
Doesn’t support wingman app which is very helpful in case of a breakdown.
It does come with showa 43 mm telescopic forks and has higher ground clearance than both super meteor and shotgun (154mm) and alloys might be offered as optional equipment, just like classic 350, its too early to speculate on that. Overall it could be a better tourer than the super meteor. Except minor drawbacks like a bit outdated dash and a tad bit smaller fuel tank capacity @@TheBikerDaddy
@ I agree with the ground clearance part 👍
@ though classic 650 doesn’t come with a showa upside down forks.
Alloys will cost you 10-15k more
Also, it will be common AF.

Here is a comparison between telescopic and upside down forks
Telescopic forks and upside-down forks are two common types of motorcycle front suspension systems. They both serve the same purpose of absorbing shocks and vibrations from the road, but they have different designs and offer distinct advantages.
Telescopic Forks:
* Design: In this traditional design, the fork tubes (stanchions) are positioned on the outside, and the sliders (containing the spring and damping mechanisms) are on the inside.
* Advantages:
* Cost-effective: They are generally less expensive to manufacture.
* Maintenance-friendly: They are easier to maintain and repair.
* Comfortable for everyday riding: They offer a comfortable ride for everyday commuting and cruising.
* Disadvantages:
* Less rigid: They can be less rigid compared to upside-down forks, especially under heavy braking and cornering.
* Heavier weight: They tend to be heavier due to the design.
Upside-Down (USD) Forks:
* Design: In this design, the fork tubes and sliders are inverted, with the stanchions on the inside and the sliders on the outside.
* Advantages:
* Increased rigidity: The larger diameter stanchions provide greater rigidity, improving handling and stability, especially at high speeds and during aggressive riding.
* Reduced unsprung weight: The lighter sliders contribute to better suspension response and reduced tire vibration.
* Improved braking performance: The increased rigidity helps maintain braking stability under hard braking.
* Disadvantages:
* Higher cost: They are generally more expensive to manufacture.
* More complex maintenance: They require more specialized maintenance and repair.
* Less comfortable for everyday riding: They can feel stiffer and less forgiving on rough roads, making them less suitable for everyday commuting.
Which one is better?
The choice between telescopic and upside-down forks depends on your riding style and priorities.
* Telescopic forks are a good choice for riders who prioritize comfort and cost-effectiveness, especially for everyday commuting and cruising.
* Upside-down forks are better suited for riders who demand high-performance handling, stability, and braking performance, especially for track riding and aggressive street riding.
