Just finished my installation. 15:38 Cutting of the top part of the bumper seems unnecessary when one could just cut the circle out. However it provides easy access to align the fog lamps afterwards and is actually the method that the Honda stealership would follow if you ordered them as an option. 17:13 I followed this method but found out that I had about 24in of excess cable on the right side. The Honda instructions route the wire up and across the bulkhead upper frame. Doing so takes up all the slack. 🙂
I replaced my broken oem fog lamps with the Winjet from Amazon last year and they work perfect, no leaks or fogging. I have used them in the past without any issues.
@@Element_lifestyle yes and snow. What I didn’t like was the fact that the Honda Dealer did a crappy job making the hole for the OEM fog lamps. I noticed it was hen I installed the winjet. I used fiberglass to close the hole a little as rain was getting into the fog lamps area. I am pretty anal about my car so I may buy another front facia and do the hole correctly. Oh I installed the leds in the dash, the ones you have and lately the dashboard has been going on and off when I am driving. I think it’s the connectors. I have removed the dashboard and same story. I may clean the connectors but I think it’s the connectors themselves. Only the center dash where the big connector connects. You can respond on Instagram if you like.
Great video. I want to do this to my element too. I contacted logan and I'm waiting to see if he's got a oem set of fog lights from a junk yard for me. Where did you get yours and what years does this installation cover? Also any ideas where I can get a set like you got? Someone should put this together as an aftermarket kit.
Have you figured out how to wire the fogs to come on independently from the headlights? Meaning be able to run the fog lights whether or not you have the headlights on.
On my Element the bumper has all 11 pins. However I had this feeling that underneath and both fenders were missing bolts. I was right! Every bolt 🔩 underneath wasn't there. Save 2 that were not even the original! There was 1 bolt on the far left and another on the far right. Plus both fenders were missing all. Where can I acquire to replace them, if you have any idea.

Where does one even but the OEM wiring harness for the Fog/Driver assemblies. I have already tried many websites and have yet to tind oem

I got mine at the junk car . Works for 2003 to 2008 elements

My element does not have the button cap for the inside. I have cruise control and next to it VCS button.

Is a different set up for the 07 . The fog light comes in The switch by the steering wheel
