      “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
      ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬
      ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame”
      Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
      “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””
      ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭
      God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 🕊💗

    I'm blessed to have a father who shared the responsibilities with my mom. He woke up early helped my mom in the kitchen, then literally fed us when we were getting ready for school, packed our lunch, did my sister's pigtails, polished our shoes, then put our socks and shoes for us, and he washes and dries our clothes. He manually washed it because our uniform had white shirts. My mom had to leave early for work so he did all of that for us. He could've easily assigned everything to his daughters but he didn't and I'm so glad. Watching my dad most of my relatives started sharing responsibilities and so while growing up I thought that was normal until I had exposure.

      My father when we used to live in a house with 3 room helped my mother in kitchen, used to drop me at school and then went to
      His job when he himself gets home late...
      He never let the motive for studies die in my mom, she was a primary teacher back then and even after we moved to our new and big house and even got a car. he still helps my mom. He woke up before her every day and made breakfast for us because my mom is a professor now and she travels 40 km to her college every day so she gets tired and the way my father stills help her in the kitchen at the mourning and at the night for dinner even he have a job and sometimes work more then my mom. Seeing this all by my own eyes truly taught me a lot and the lesson of being the leader of a family and how much responsibilities you take when you get a family.... And for women….the pressure to be young is especially high. I’m not a cute 20 year old anymore. Men needs to help for sure but also women have few body advantage as these -
      Women and girls bodies have 12% extra fat till the age their body is able to get pregnant
      So they can used those reserve in case of faituge to burn and do tasks with normal activities or in some case like body exercise (no weight-lifting involve though) for example swimming longer than men that's why in cold water long distance covering swimming women outdo men more often.
      Constant Pain tolerance is also great in women to continue to work and perform or make body familiar with under pain working conditions 😅 that's why rhythmic gymnastics is women sports only in major sense cause male body can't bend, be flexible in that much pain for so during routines, practice and what not

    First off- love the lemon quote. When I was a smol child I would eat lemons like apples, peel, pith and all.
    Even today I still love lemons, though I don’t usually eat the peel and pith now.
    And the food looks amazing! This Channel always gives me food envy and then I go to the comments to click the pinned recipie and make it myself. Always sooooo good

    here’s the sad thing…. all moms are badass. The reason why desi kids are scared, particular women are scared of mother figures, is not because they are “bad ass”, but because you’re raised in the desi community of never “talking back” to parents/mom,l and always listening to them or else tons of emotional blackmail mail or punishment or disrespect you to your face and having that fear relationship, that they manipulate as a sign of respect. And ontop of that, they treat you like you’re a baby even when you’re supposed to be at the age of adulthood
    And it is sad that still in 2022, desi culture still has the cultural atmosphere that 27 is “old”, when 27 your brain hasn’t even fully developed yet, but then 27 isn’t old enough for you to make your own life decisions without consulting with parents ever.

      Exactly “I’m still terrified of my mom” is not a positive thing.

    • @geegeepa8123
      @geegeepa8123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@maritje4225 exactly. being terrified of mom may mean bad but definitely not badass. badass is like she makes you so proud because she does things other women typically don’t do. For example my mom is bad ass because she doesn’t care what any man, woman, aunty or uncle think and she’ll handle her household as she pleases. My mom supports me in my decisions and isn’t nosey, respects that i don’t need her input, but if needed she is there. That’s badass. I’m not scared of my mom and i didn’t know that so many desi kids are scared of their moms till i grew up and dealt with people in their 30s still being manipulated and controlled by parents, but then get so defensive if anyone says anything about it and says “my parents sacrifice for me so it’s least i can do”…. what?????? and many of them actually haven’t sacrificed, just made sure they had head and food over their heads, but that is duty of parents. otherwise if you cannot fulfill duty as parents then don’t have kids. Parents pray to have kids then manipulate kids that they owe them their lives for taking care of them even if kid didn’t ask to be born. That’s some messed up thing

    • @maritje4225
      @maritje4225 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@geegeepa8123 exactly if you can only “parent” your children by scaring them then I’m sorry but I don’t think that’s good parenting.
      My mom is like yours, there when you need her but not intrusive or controlling.
      I think she’s a badass for raising my brother and I while my dad was gone a lot with the military. It’s not easy having a 2 year old and a baby (me) that literally didn’t sleep through the night until after I turned 1, and a husband that works long days and often has to travel for work.

    • @geegeepa8123
      @geegeepa8123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@maritje4225 this is fact and wish this generational curse will be realized and stopped. I’m so tired of adult babies in the society. I don’t understand how many people in modern era in desi culture can be in their 20s, still be scared of parents. That sounds like emotional and mental abuse that they’re indenial about. My confusion further lies why these people think being badass means they’re scared of the person. If we’re talking about enemies fearing jackie chan in a movie because he is best at kung fu, then he is badass, if we’re talking about adult human scared of parents, that’s just bad…..

      Isn't there already a stereotype for women if “not like others” exists. Why tf do girls make it hard for other girls to live, the society isn't giving you enough hardships?? Need more?
