True ghoti household is incomplete without posto, and postobora itself is an emotion that can't be described in simple words! My entire childhood was shaped around foods that had posto in it in some way or another! Being a Vegetarian bangali is a challenge,and thanks to my mother,who,despite her immensely stressful work schedule,used to make such veg delicacies fr me! And now i have taken the helm at the kitchen,and i pamper her with my dishes! It's amazing how food defines certain relationships! I blindly follow my mom's recipes for any bangali food! Can't do without guidance any day!

Hello. I have been overwhelmed with the idea of cooking all my life. Seeing maa slog in the kitchen made the task look even more daunting. I've recently realised that I can't trust Zomato and kaajer maashi er ranna all my life. I feel helpless in rains when they don't deliver and when my help decides to take a day off. To gain more control over my meal and my sanity, I've been looking for simple recipes online. But I've only been finding a-bangali ranna until i found your channel. And I'm so so glad that i did. Loved all of them. We are bangal so haatey guney koyek baar posto'r bora kheyechhi.. but mostly the aloo makha posto is what my mom made. Love the new format. This is an excellent way of showing variations across the Bengal region. I also loved how you showed all the suggestions and incorporated it into the narration. Wish you guys the very best. I Grew up eating countless of the Alu Posto bora. I tried so many times to make it the way my mom used to make it. It never came out right. In this video you make it a bit bulged and thick, keeping the inner layer softer. What my Mom used to make was very thin once.. slightly thicker than potato chips. The it would be crunchy with very little amount of inner soft layer. I tried many times, it just shatters in the oil before it is cooked enough. Dont know what was the secret step she used to do. You guys put so much effort to document this delicacy , also in multiple variations. Really Appreciate it. I am gonna try all the variants this weekend. But a request to you guys. Since you guys are very good in the cooking chemistry, if you find interest, please help me understand how it can be made flaky thin. The way I remember it from my childhood. Thank You. Amio bangal, never had posto r bora at my mum’s! But after getting married to ghoti husband, I think thats the first thing I have learnt from my mother n law., with bit of aloo and lots of kanchalogka. I am a complete Ghoti.....😆 So posto is a integral part of our kitchen.....aloo posto, biulir daal and plain posto bata with green chilli mustard oil n salt (heavenly) being some of the most common and last but not the least superbly tasty postor bora. But what you guys did with this recipe is highly infectious ....and really commendable....love ur work and kudos to both of you.

Love this channel so much! But I think the new format would be better on its own channel. I’m an American Bengali-food lover and like having the original format where I can follow the recipe as I’m cooking. Having different variations, although very interesting, makes it a bit harder to try it out at first

Hello. I have been overwhelmed with the idea of cooking all my life. Seeing maa slog in the kitchen made the task look even more daunting. I've recently realised that I can't trust Zomato and kaajer maashi er ranna all my life. I feel helpless in rains when they don't deliver and when my help decides to take a day off.
To gain more control over my meal and my sanity, I've been looking for simple recipes online. But I've only been finding a-bangali ranna until i found your channel.

Loved all of them. We are bangal so haatey guney koyek baar posto'r bora kheyechhi.. but mostly the aloo makha posto is what my mom made. Love the new format. This is an excellent way of showing variations across the Bengal region. I also loved how you showed all the suggestions and incorporated it into the narration. Wish you guys the very best. Tomra eto shundor kore koro, love the research and effort you put in. In such a scenario, the frequency of uploads really do not matter.
I Grew up eating countless of the Alu Posto bora. I tried so many times to make it the way my mom used to make it. It never came out right. In this video you make it a bit bulged and thick, keeping the inner layer softer. What my Mom used to make was very thin once.. slightly thicker than potato chips. The it would be crunchy with very little amount of inner soft layer. I tried many times, it just shatters in the oil before it is cooked enough. Dont know what was the secret step she used to do. You guys put so much effort to document this delicacy , also in multiple variations. Really Appreciate it. I am gonna try all the variants this weekend. But a request to you guys. Since you guys are very good in the cooking chemistry, if you find interest, please help me understand how it can be made flaky thin. The way I remember it from my childhood. Thank You. So posto is a integral part of our kitchen.....aloo posto, biulir daal and plain posto bata with green chilli mustard oil n salt (heavenly) being some of the most common and last but not the least superbly tasty postor bora.
But what you guys did with this recipe is highly infectious ....and really commendable....love ur work and kudos to both of you.
