The owner of this Audi A4 had the headlights tinted in Light Blue Chameleon tint, A.K.A NeoChrome Tint. It came out looking great; unlike most chameleon tint films, this one was much more subtle. Fantastic work man, they turned out great on a white car. Been debating on doing this to my Lexus, but just can't justify the headlight hue when bulbs are on to be yellow-ish unfortunately..

+HKMediaChicago Yeah for someone who really cares about output colour it's a dealbreaker. I've noticed that with different temperature HIDs the colours change, so you could potentially cancel out the change and get a normal output. But that would take a lot of experimenting.

Hey bud! looks amazing!! Considering this for my car & live in Toronto. Have you had any problems with cops? Is it legal to do?
+Quintin Magill Cops are iffy, some people have had them on for almost a year with no problem, while some only a week and they've already got a ticket.
It seems like the closer to the city you are, the higher chance you have of getting in trouble.
Just dont live in toronto then because i drive by cops all the time and they dont dare try me

Which tone of chameleon neochromes is more inconspicious - light blue or pearl? I want a tone that includes all rainbow tones (mainly purple, blue, green, pink). Which ones have you tried? And how long does the tint lasts?
Maybe somebody knows if this is legal in LATVIA?
+tigerrr97 it's really hard to get all of the colours in one film. If you're looking for something clear go with clear chameleon or light blue chameleon. These will allow more light to follow through them the other shades, only reducing your light output slightly. The one used in this video is light blue.
The lifetime varies depending on install.
Here is a picture of the light blue in a fusion, as you can see, the shape of the lens really effects how and what colours show:

+jcacciap not significantly dimmer, but it does change the output colour slightly

what if i remove it after a year. will it difficult to remove it ?
+sunny gupta You just pull it off with heat. It might leave some residue but you can take that off with goo gone.

That looks sick. Is the actual name "neo chrome chameleon" ? Cause I bought some Neochrome pearl and I like this shade better than what I have.
Most of these "chameleon" or "neochrome" tint films you see are exactly the same, and probably come from the same factory. They are often rebranded and renamed. This particular one is commonly called "clear blue chameleon". You can either look for it under that name, or send me a message and I can set you up with some.

+Matthew NoYb Yeah, this particular film has mainly a green-blue colour shift. I think the one you mentioned has more of a pink-green colour shift.

That's exactly right. I don't really want that reddish/pink in there.
+Matthew NoYb That actually happened to me too! It's really hard to tell in the pics and I ended up with the pink one. That's why I figured I should make a video and made sure to include shots from all angles.

Did you spray water on the film to apply?
Yes, a soap/water mixture is sprayed under the film and squeegeed out, to ensure that there are no air bubbles. I also sprayed the same mixture on top of the film to that it helps my squeegee glide while not scratching the film.
You can do the install dry, but it won't be as clear/clean, and you'll see any air bubbles that get trapped while installing the film forever, they don't go away.
If you have any water bubbles left over from doing the install wet, they will dry out and become clear after a few days.

Beau Valera You have to coat it with clear to keep the colour from fading/faking off. The quality is not the best :(
Interesting suggestion. So, would it be OK to apply the neo chrome then cover it with a pre-cut clear lamin-x for my headlights?

+Peter Luna Yes. It changes to multiple colours. For a pure white light, the center is usually a slight green, then goes light blue and purple towards the outside of the center. It's not a significant change, but it's definitely noticeable. It does not really reduce the output, as the film is transparent.
Basically makes you look like a god on the road 😂

It really depends on what you like. If you like how it looks on this Audi then chances are you'll like how it looks on your vehicle. :)
Beautiful! I have a 2008 Scion tC in sizzling crimson mica (like a dark pearl purple) and I was wondering what color of headlight tint would look good on that color car? Also, the headlights are badly shaped with a bubble like curve for the projectors. Is that a problem? Here's the car images.gtcarlot.com/pictures/10759570.jpg

The red chameleon tint has a pink-ish hue, so maybe it might look good with your car. Or may try purple chameleon?

+Diego Garcia Yes pretty much. You want to get as much of the soap/water mixture out from under the film as you can. I usually start either in the middle or the most flat surface of the light, depending on the shape.

So far no one has had trouble in and around Toronto. This might be because this is the most transparent film of the chameleon tint films, all of the other colours are much more solid.

@@Sulihack other youtubers did it and it showed me clearly the difference between a headlight and one wrapped. Slight color change for some brands and drastic for others. Tj hunt for example

Hello everybody i have the same tint on my bmw e46 and the lights are too powerfull and they gonnna literraly gonna cook the tint and is gonna be ugly after 1 month
LAZERS never DIE Your headlights are overheating from god knows what bulbs m8 but i have done a slight tint on all of my cars including audis and for years no problems even with hids. On this occasion this will be an error on your side. Could the bulbs or leds be ti close to the plastic or glass?If you have 50w hids they can melt a lot of things including the bulb fittings.But honestly never heard of this problem on newer cars with projector ligts..
+Elvis Putnoee That's true, I've only even seen this issue with aftermarket HID kits. They usually end up burning the tint, and eventually the plastic housing over the years. Easiest way to fix this is to switch to LEDs. Lights shouldn't be burning that hot anyways.
Sulihack Well newest leds can melt everything as soon as the fan on the back of them goes the bulb fitting melts from the massive heat. Just a heat sink on the back of them won't cut it.. I have had one headlight melted on just a small daylight/parking light the leds burned the reflector severely in few hours of non stoo driving and i had to change my headlights.. I seem to always go for hids still to this day they have not failed me 35w6000k both fog lights /headlights never had a problem with tint on them.

True. Especially bagged. You can ride at stock appearance height and nobody would know until you hit the switches, people go nuts when cars do things they weren't expecting.
