Nice recipe! A bain marie (or baking the cheesecake in a water bath) might stop the cracking. That's what I did with my vegan cheesecakes. In the oven, I set a pan of water. I set my cheesecake in the water pan to bake. Make sure there is no way for water to reach the cheesecake. Thank you for the awesome recipe.
Looks like a delicious recipe. I listened to this video several times. Not clear how much of sweetener to use ? I use dates, date powder or date syrup only.
Hello. I am using your tips to recreate my own cheesecake. Had to ask... what's the size of your spring form? This recipe doesn't seem to make a whole lot. Looks very good though! Can't wait to taste mine.
Thanks for the recipe, I just made it but my base mixture didn't go up the sides, what size pan are you using? Still in the oven so can't give you the verdict yet but the mixture tastes lovely ❤
@@SandraBakeHouse I'm sure vegan cheesecake sounds more appetizing that tofu cake, but it's not really cheesecake without cheese. I mean, it still looks really good to me. I just don't understand why people call food things something they're not. Especially when vegans are looking for things without the cheese ...
It’s a vegan version of cheesecake. The title makes it easy for someone who is vegan to find an alternative to a previously loved treat. Don’t overthink it.
🤦♀️ “Sugar free”? I’m only a minute in and you already added raisins and banana. I would also argue that raw oats are too carb-heavy and high on the GI to be considered “sugar free” or healthy.
are you freakin serious? why the heck is everything in grams for starters then you don't give the oven temp for cooking the crustand then you add regular Tofu but don't tell how much, then you add sugar but don't say how much and the video is just plain hard to follow. I'm sorry but you should'nt be putting recipies on here uless you get a lot better at it!
Hahaha, just pay attention you goof. Use simple logic when it comes to oven temperature. She also said how much tofu was in there and then said "any amount of sugar" because it's up to you. You can literally taste it while cooking if you want it sweet, just add some more. Her recipe is very nice and easy to follow, just don't be so dumb.
She did give the temperature.and some places use grams.its frustrating when people dont post the recipe in cups but i wont get mad with them because they are being nice enough to give me these womderful recipes

It's so nice to come across this very simple tofu cheesecake recipe that doesn't involve any fancy nuts or fancy techniques or special ingredients.
Bake crust 5-10 minutes before filing.
Bake cake 375°F for 35 minutes
Wow. It is wonderful to see vegan desserts without the oil and nuts. I hope you come up with more vegan cakes and pie recipes!

Finally find a recepie with firm tofu ❤️❤️❤️
That would be so good in the morning with coffee, looks delicious.
This looks amazing! Definitely going to try this recipe.
This looks very good. Thank you for your creativity and for sharing it with us.
Many thanks for this recipe and appreciate you sharing it with us all.
This looks good and not complicated to make. I might try cooking in an air fryer. Thank you.
🩷Wow…..this looks delicious and easy to follow……thank you
Wow! Amazing recipe. Will definitely give a try with easy found ingredients ❤❤❤

Have you tried baking your cheesecake in a water bath to reduce the cracking? Do you also use Imperial measurements in addition to metric?
yum looks delicious
Deal Sandra, thanks for the nice recipe. Could one also use silk Tofu?
Hello, absolutely!
Excellent 😃
Thank you looks a fab Vegan cake x
It's seems so tasty your creamy cheese cake
Thank you for this recipe, i want to try a lemon zest cheese cake like this
Looks like a delicious recipe. I listened to this video several times. Not clear how much of sweetener to use ? I use dates, date powder or date syrup only.
very eager to try this. when you say tofu cheese, do you just mean normal tofu? ty

Hello Very nice video This cake looks so impressive so delicious really . Nice share . . 🤗
Thanks :)
WOW! 💚
Looks delicious.
*YUM YUM YUM!!!!* ❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️
But I will replace the banana with Apple Sauce. 😍😍😍😍
What size cake mold are you using?
I made this. Found the quantities were not enough. I either need to get a smaller cake mould or double the quantities
Love this idea! Please provide alternative measurements for those of us in other countries that use imperial measurements and don’t have a scale!
This looks delicious! What’s tofu cheese? Is it just tofu?
That was my question too. Recipe looks really good!

Hi, if I’m not mistaken it was like 17 cm (6.5’’) it’s pretty small yes, you can always double it)
Hi, I like this Cake , may I ask Is it better to put it in the refrigerator overnight after baking ?
Hi, it’s up to you, but cake is definitely better to be chilled
15 grams of corn starch!!!!!!
Thanks for the recipe, I just made it but my base mixture didn't go up the sides, what size pan are you using? Still in the oven so can't give you the verdict yet but the mixture tastes lovely ❤
Thank you, I think it was 8 inch, hope to hear your verdict!
@@SandraBakeHouse Tastes delicious, wasn't heavy to eat, more like a ricotta cheesecake. Thank you x
❤
Wow...not a fan of tofu but looks great....any sub for tofu?
The main ingredient is tofu… it has a neutral flavor that would obviously be hidden by the citrus. Maybe try: cream cheese
How much sweetener did you use?
Wow looks great. So its not silken tofu, just the normal firm?
Hi, yes, firm one
healthy (whole food) alternative to corn starch?
Tapioca, arrowroot starch, maybe, oat flour. But proportions might need to be adjusted and the texture will vary
@@SandraBakeHouse Thanks for the suggestions. Might Aquafaba work?
This looks good, but if there's no cheese, is it a cheesecake?
For those who can’t eat cream cheese or doesn’t want to, I guess that’s cheesecake 😅

What size pan?
Wow! New sub here! I recently made Cheesecake on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected my fellow chef! 😄
😋😋😋
can I ask, what exactly is cheese Tofu? is it a regular Tofu?
Yes, regular firm tofu
How many inches was your pan?
Hi, 8 inch
@@SandraBakeHouse Thank you!
@@SandraBakeHouse It doesn't look big enough for 8 inches and in an earlier posting you stated 6.5 inches?

This does _not_ cook within 35 minutes at 175 c.
thanks for the tip!
