Thanks for the review. The title of the video says 'Almost Perfect', but I got the feeling from this review it was not. Lack of simhub support is a head-scratcher.
Yeah, maybe more like almost, almost perfect 😂 they are likely trying to keep everything in their software. Still, many of their customers, myself included, have multiple wheels and like using profiles within Simhub for control. It’s not a huge deal but a missed opportunity unless they can add via software/firmware update.
I think it's horrible looking and feeling for the price. Simucube needs to stop snd go back o the drawing board it isn't 9 years ago. They are stuck and need to stop so they can move foeard and for other brands to stop taking there consumers. They are just hurting themslves now. Come out with something more modern. Doesn't even need to be with fancy rgb and or leds or anything. Just a nice modern design something that doesn't only look like it's made purely for sim racing and instead looks like something that some would use in a real race car.
@simracingden yeah they are practically giving away customers/consumers now. I get it they want people to believe that people only pur enthusiasts should get there wheels and bases but now they are just more bland. It doesn't matter what level racer you are most do not like the looks period. They need to re evaluate what they are doing. Because now bases pike asetek and even the dd+ get so close to performance from the base itself that it's hard to justify simucube now even if they are the best.
@@reviewforthetube6485 This was an opportunity missed by Simucube. While clearly trying to offer a more 'complete' ecosystem, this wheel is a fail due to poor aesthetics and exorbitant pricing. I was seriously considering the Simucule 2 Pro base but feel that while Simagic isn't quite in the same league their overall ecosystem is far superior and they have achieved that in only a few short years.
When you have pedals, base and simucube rim, you know you fucking made it 🫡

simucube is going all in, they are making a eco system, i hope they don't fail with all the limitations
I hope so too.
Great video!
Any information about when the leather version is coming out?
Thanks! I’m not sure haven’t been provided any details yet.
Its available now on Simucube’s website.
In your opinion, do you think the round wheels have an advantage with certain cars (not oval)
They definitely have an advantage for rally/rallycross or just street cars. Outside of that, not really.
Nice review! How about the latency? I really concern about the reliability of the wireless connection. 😂
Super reliable no issues to report whatsoever.
@@simracingden Thanks for the reply! Is the latency noticeable? Any difference when comparing to the wired wheels?🤔️
@@Kevin-wr3gt I notice no difference.
@@simracingden Thanks! Maybe it’s time to consider this wheel!
How did you set up the clutch paddles, just got mine and the top one is 100% even though I’m not pressing it. Thanks
You may need to calibrate in tuner software.
Is there a better round option in your opinion for a Simucube owner? I’m ignoring the GSI Max 32
Wireless or USB?

I agree with a lot of your points, I think they could have come up with a better design. Thanks for your comment and watching!
