I chose to connect the directional lights also. I ran the yellow wires up through the tailgate and down along the gasket, through the floor and over to the hidden trailer harness under vehicle. I had to buy more yellow wire to do this. I was able to remove the old LED without removing the inside trim. However I did break the 2 blue snaps but local parts store had more. Your video was invaluable and I thank you for posting it.

You could still do it if you took the yellow wires to the point that you connected the rest of the wires to and just extend them. Bring a lunch and plan on a few hours though! The turn signals are a cascading effect and looks nice.
thanks for the tutorial, it helped me a lot to speed up the installation it took me only 10 minutes to disassemble and replace, but it took me a while to connect since I had to change the bolt that connects the ground wire. Pretty cool but I think you should have done the turn signal as well, here in the states people are saying the turn signal along the bottom is dangerous, I agree, I think eventually there will be a class action lawsuit against Hyundai because the turn signal is not easily visible and people will get hurt from needless rear end collisions, people don't expect to see a turn signal near the bottom of the body. I originally thought it was just for looks so when I found out that it's the turn signal I thought, wow that was a stupid place to put it so I googled it and found out there's a lot of info on it being dangerous.

Hello friend, Till now everything works just fine! Regarding the back up camera there is a red-ish color only when I brake, but is not disturbing at all. Fir sure you will not have any problems regarding visibility during the night when you use your 360 degree camera. Cheers 👍🤝
How do you connect the capacitor? Plus to brake cable and ground to the same screw you used for ground for LED? Same ground on same screw? My flickers sometime together with brake light. My capacitor is 1000uF 25v. Is that right?

La masina mea, am doar verde/negru + negru in mufa din stanga. Am conectat firul alb la verde/negru, dar din pacate stopul sta constant aprins, e ca si cum as frana tot timpul… O sa caut sa vad unde mai exact trebuie sa instalez firul alb pentru pozitii. Salutare, Mulțumesc pentru apreciere! Eu am folosit un multimetru pentru a vedea exact care dintre fire corespunde poziției și care corespunde frânei. În acest fel nu ai cum sa greșești. Minusul îl iei de pe caroserie. Ai fix lângă mufa din far un surub de care te poți conecta cu minusul. Legat de semnalizari este mai complicat fiindcă acestea sunt jos în bara și trebuie sa duci firele galbene acolo. Mie personal nu mi-au plăcut cu arătau când foloseam semnalizarea, întrucât se vedea ca sunt adăugate ulterior. În opinia mea își pierde aspect OEM dacă vei conecta și semnalizarea, dar doar de tine depinde cum vrei sa arate mașina ta. Dacă nu te descurci și ești din București ne putem vedea sa iți dau o mana de ajutor. Salutare!👍🤝
@@spionul009 Salut. Am reusit sa ii dau de cap. Al doilea fir la mine e conectat undeva la stopul de pe spoiler. A trebuit sa trag un fir din cel galben ca sa ma pot lega de el. Singura chestie care ma deranjeaza e ca stopurile mele sunt cu halogen si cand se aprinde cel care l-am montat se vede intr-un fel :). Sunt gelos pe stopurile tale LED. Le pot cumpara de pe ebay dar costa ceva dolarei. Totusi, a iesit bine si iti multumesc pentru ajutor!

Can anyone tell me if after installation that it throws up an bulb error code on the cars computer system? Does it need to be coded out? Or is it simple plug and play? Ie if you install fog light bulbs on BMW’s they need to be canbus free and coded out. Thanks

Hello friend, I'm so sorry for you 😞. Try to speak will the seller maybe you are lucky and he will send you a new bar. If you have a warranty use it! Unfortunately that is not a OEM product and it is made in China and the quality is not too good. I hope you will manage this problem. Another thing before do something is to try to conect the bar to another power source (another battery) in order to be sure the led bar is the problem. Good luck!👍🤝

By the way, the black cable on the rear light on the tailgate is - on my car - ground. There is no reversing light on the tailgate. I use it for ground. Thank you again for your help.

I found that you also need to shop for the LED as prices are all over the place. Found on Ebay for $117.

I agree the turn signals are low but 99% of people turning apply there brakes and those lights aren't on the bottom.

I could actually use turn signal. When i install basket it hitch it covers my turn signals that are in the bumper but it seems like too much work
