That is a slight face lift model isn't it as it has what looks like LED strip DRL's built in, unless you get slightly different models to the UK. I have a Mar 2017 model estate and the DRL's are a separate unit that I had to modify to accept an Led bulb.

How did you connect the wire? Did you just cut the green wire and tap it their? And how did you use the capacitor?

Can anyone tell me if after installation that it throws up an bulb error code on the cars computer system? Does it need to be coded out? Or is it simple plug and play? Ie if you install fog light bulbs on BMW’s they need to be canbus free and coded out. Thanks

Hello thank you for the video on installation but i have one question every video I watched doeant include puting the covers back on do you need to cut the to fit aroung the mount or does the mount fit between factory covers thanks alot again!

I did it very similarly on my 2023 model, the cargo light and the license plate lights...I didn't think about the ones with the mirrors, not using them enough.

L am dat jos de pe un e65 care functiona , complet inclusiv cablaj netaiat , l am mufat pe mesina exact de unde a foat scos de pe masina donatoare , i am facut si conexiunea de MOST , dar nu porneste ecranul . Tie ti a pornit din prima fara FA adaugat sau duoa ce ai adaugat FA ul ?

I could actually use turn signal. When i install basket it hitch it covers my turn signals that are in the bumper but it seems like too much work

Nu inteles... What is the "cambus" ...you show this zip-tied for heat dissipation but don't explain what it is for our how it relates to the new LED bulb. Is it needed? How does the bulb fit into the fog light fitting/housing? Multumesc foarte mult pentru ajutore 😎👍

The old bulbs are not Halogen's!! They are the old style incandescent type bulb's!! Also the reverse lights are incandescent's and need to be replaced with new LED's.

How do you connect the capacitor? Plus to brake cable and ground to the same screw you used for ground for LED? Same ground on same screw? My flickers sometime together with brake light. My capacitor is 1000uF 25v. Is that right?

Dennis, your led tail light looks more like the original where as the ones I have seen on line look flat and not 3 dimensional as the one you ordered. Would you please list the vendor or supplier you ordered yours from. Thank you! Jim

For me, the LED strip and the brake light flicker on the side where I connected the cables when I turn on the elec. open tailgate. Do you have the same problem? Only, when i open thetail gate. Capacitor ist on brake cable and ground is on chassis screw. studio.th-cam.com/users/videouTia2teBptQ/edit
