Sir, these lighting reviews and night drives are absolutely *chef's kiss*
You're doing the Lord's work!
loved the pointer stick that came out of nowhere LOLLL
The fact that you make night shots to capture both the interior and exterior lighting makes your videos my favorites
I have owned mine for a month, great car to drive.
Do you have applecar play and if so does your text messages icon show up ? I cant get mine to
@@DV-tc1yr I have android auto and the message icon shows up,mine is Australian version.
@@RobertFacchin Which variant did you go for?
@@dangers-br6dy Calligraphy.
@@RobertFacchin could you get the white interior or nah?
This is one of the most well lit interiors I’ve seen on your channel.
That purple is brutiful. Just brutiful
I've been watching you for years since the start. Thank you for not changing Mike! You provide great informative reviews, while being down to Earth and interesting.
I’m a first time viewer and now subscriber. Thank you for a very thorough, helpful and informative video. It’s especially valuable for me to “experience” the car at night, as I usually take test drives during daylight hours.
Glad it was helpful!
i just bought a black hybrid limited, I have a short torso and long legs, the calligraphy seats didn't have as long of a bottom seat cushion, so i went limited.. But, i just can't get over how quiet and comfortable it drives.. it's so isolated, and to me that's the best feature. The tech is amazing, but i bought it because of how isolated it is to drive.
I got the same but in RED....i wish it would LOCK when you walk away..... cant get it to do it yet 😞
@@DV-tc1yr It works on mine, but i just don't trust it.. ;)
Great video. Love the pointer finger, lol. Awesome work with overlaying the window sticker. That was pretty cool and much appreciated.
Awesome videography on the lights
Thanks be to the algorithm. Loved this review. Great job. Seriously. Easily earned my sub.
I love the look of it, like a Land Rover. They have a great warranty too
So keen to buy this when it becomes available in my area of Australia next week 😍
Have you bought one yet?
Which state in Australia are you in?
Which variant are you buying?
I currently own a 2015 Ford Flex. My partner owns a 2020 Santa Fe, I like his Santa Fe , but not enough to buy one. I love the box style, because unlike every other SUV, this 2024 Santa Fe doesn't look like every other SUV on the road. And that's the main reason I'm ordering a 2025 Santa Fe Calligriphy Hybrid.
2009 Ford Flex Owner, 210K miles later I have finally found my replacement. I expect I'll be ordering either the limited or Calligriphy Hybrid Sante Fe 2025 end of this year.
@@Crockdaddy1074i took delivery of my 2025 Calligraphy last Saturday. I am in love! Still learning about it but every day is something new. I bought the Calligraphy because i could get the head-up display and 2nd row captains chairs. It would be difficult for many people to get in behind the bench seat to the third row.
I like the unique approach to showing price and everything it comes with in addition to hud screen etc.
Amazing vehicle, amazing channel. Subscribed! 😎
Now taking look at the 2024 and newer Hyundais, the interior is extreme improvement from the previous years with the Hyundai badge being replaced with a rectangle having 4 dots inside
Loved every bit of it, such a detailed review, keep rocking bro, love from Pakistan
Can you do the 2024 Sonata Hybrid Limited?
that my car white on black❤
Nice review Nice car
Interesting video. How does the night display of the road ahead work on minor country roads with no edge or centre road markings? And does weather have any impact on system function?
All the people that say it’s ugly, they can’t afford this SUV. You figure.
Nah I personally just don’t like how it looks. Especially the rear.
Nah, just dont think you have good taste in suvs lol, this thing looks like the byproduct of hyundai having a 3 year old attempting to recreate a land rover in microsoft paint
Hahaha true
But I own the limited 2023 santafe hybrid retailed for 45k and I will tell you this refresh is ugly I was really excited to trade mine in until I saw it
Too bad. Missed opportunity.@@popnstoff
Lol I bought this car but don’t drive at night so I’m watching f this 😂
I have this vehicle and I love ambient lighting, my biggest complaint is that it dims once you take it out of park and the sides of the dash ambient lights shut off completely. I wish they stayed on because they make the look so much better.
Just waiting on my new blue calligraphy hybrid
We don't have a blue option for 2024 Calligriphy, but I understand that it will be available for the 2025 Calligraphy trim.
Same headlight system as the LEDs on my Santa Cruz ... they're super bright. I get flashed by oncoming vehicles ALL the time at night. I find the auto highbeams are a little too fast to turn off though. Cars 2 miles down a straight stretch will send them into low beams. Still, Hyundai's lighting game is strong.
what camera did you used? very nice at lowlight
i want to know that aswell. crazy good camera
Apple carplay directions comes on HUD?
I love your interior and light review, but is it possible to have a headlight rating per car or a ranking system
Thanks for the video! Could you also make the same video with the 2024 Kia Sorento? So we can compare those options.. thank you.
I will try!
For this type interior is this a certain package ? & what’s the price ? Thanks !
dowg buuns!
Got mine yesterday and am kinda agrivated that I cant get my applecar play to work the TEXT MESSAGES icon wont appear ive looked every where in my phone to resolve the issue anyone else having this issue?
I`m guessing, if you push upwards on the sunvisor, you can turn the light on before you open it?
No, it only turns it off when hit with the visor. Otherwise it could accidently be turned on and left on.
Prototype turn signals In Rear Bumpers Are Modified.
What happened to the fog lights that I thought it had?
At that price point, the interior is just super luxurious. The shape of the car does not have to look like a Land Rover. Rather than copying other brands, Hyundai should design their own SUV
Looks great but what the heck they didnt put any lights to floor first seats and driver pedals? Thats huge problem. That high priced cars usually have at least floor lights. Also no lights for cup holders. The most often used place in the dark for coffee ect.
I dont get why Hyundai didnt think of that. Also high beams doesnt have intelligent or matrix in them. Thats also not good at current price range. Most new cars have adaptive matrix high beams
A good video review - thank you.
A nice vehicle, BUT, too expensive.
This pointer stick is revolutionary, are you a teacher by any chance?
Homeschool dad
Is there any Auto pilot or somthing where it can steer for you?
I have the Calligraphy trim level ICE and yes it has smart cruise control which is "self driving". I put it in quotes because you must keep a hand on the wheel but it can be very lightly. It works wonderfully keeping you in the lane and will change lanes if you put your signal on and the lane is clear. The heads up display in cruise control is also great. The white lines on either side of the animated car will turn green if it is safe to change lane. There are so many sensors and safety features that make it difficult to have an accident. Because of all of these features, my auto insurance actually went down over $300 a year
Wish the tail lights were positioned but higher.
That's calligraphy, right?
17:55 shows the full window sticker.
What Trim is this? I don’t think you said.
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5T AWD
22:15 Is this you driving or self-driving? Do you feel confident using the self-driving features at night?
It has lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. Both work fine at night.
No self-driving on this vehicle.
@@MikesCarInfo with the two tone steering wheel and dual charging pads this looks like the Calligraphy trim level which I have. Although this is not categorized as self-driving, (and technically it isn't) the lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control both function as essentially the same thing. You must keep a hand on the steering wheel but it can be very lightly and the car will essentially do the steering and maintain speed and distance. The monitor camera mounted on top of the steering will detect if your eyes are off the road for too long. Great video. I love my car. My suggested lighting refinements would be that I would like to get the ambient lighting just a little brighter, and the built in navigation map is dark and unreadable to me so I rely on Waze through CarPlay.
The 2023 limited and Caligraphy trims has better headlights.
10 years from now we are going to look at that 360 parking camera and laugh
I own a Tesla musk wants 8k for self driving...my wife's Santa Fe came with it free ... Fu k musk
The Santa Fe does NOT have self driving.
The only thing keeping me from this is the dual clutch can,t do it needs an 8 speed auto.
hybrid has a 6 speed torque converter automatic.. the 2.5t is faster, but the hybrid has the traditional automatic
Lot of people doubt the build quality of hyundai or kia, compared to toyota or honda. What do u say guys?
I have owned 3 Toyotas and my 2024 Santa Fe is my 5th Hyundai or Kia vehicle. Quality has not been an issue in either brand for me but I find that Hyundai and Kia have more interesting styling and extra touches in the cars which add to their appeal. For me, the value for the price has always gone to Kia and Hyundai. Toyota is currently recalling 145,000 2024 cars for an airbag issue and they are recalling 100,000 2022/2023 trucks/SUV to replace the whole engine. I suppose that this Calligraphy trim level in the video (the top trim level) is comparable to the Toyota Sequoia but the Santa Fe is $10k cheaper and the interior design blows it away. If you're in the market, I say do a test drive for comparison. My experiences with the brand have been great
korean cars usually have underwhelming headlights only the G80 was a good one
They're headlights, not artwork. They'll do fine
@EchoAccord I meant they don't have a width or cornering lights only focused narrowly forward.
reliable?
Time will tell...
Buy the hybrid, not dct
@@hsbd-hl7gn u sure about hybrids being reliable?
@@felipin.el.detailer than the other option, DCT. Also have heard good reviews about 1.6t hybrid. Not a. New setup
Car Confections would say no. They’re on their 3rd transmission already.
The front looks good, the rear.. not so much…
This is the first Santa Fe refresh I have NOT wanted to buy. Love all the tech, just too geometric for me.
As a math major, I have to disagree.
Tell me you're an old person without telling me you're an old person
It’s actually a funny looking car
Which is totally fine but I feel like you’re in the minority here
@@swissmrkcGreat, I’m a boomer cause I like flowing lines instead of a box nice! Now Get Off My Lawn! Haha jk
great looking suv. just hope the tranny will last longer than a month.
Well there is the 100k mile, 10 year drive train warranty. Though it would be nice to never have to use it.
Coffin car!
this kind of german interiors msrp starts with 75k$ just a reminder
Absolutely. Looking to get an SUV, and immediately drove a $52K Genesis GV70 after driving a Santa Fe SEL (not even limited or calligraphy trim). The Genesis felt like it was not even a slight upgrade in interior quality. If anything, it felt lower quality.
Also test drove a BMW X3 and Lincoln Nautilus (both coming in around $55K), and, again, same story. For fun, I also test drove a BMW X5 and a Lincoln Aviator (both optioned to over $70K), and it was then that I finally noticed the luxury brands felt higher quality than the Santa Fe. But certainly not a great enough difference to justify a $30K price premium lol.
When it comes to luxury in an economy brand, Kia and Hyundai are leaps and bounds beyond everyone else under $50K.
this car will be perfect if the key wasn't that egg ah looking
Hyundai Kia are the new Toyota Honda. Hyundai Kia are light years ahead of BMW BENZ and AUDI
I wish sales people did not do these narratives. “Everything is wonderful. Great.” If we could get a realistic, honest, evaluation that would go a long towards what I would like to hear. One can’t believe everything these guys say because they are trying to make money. I think the most honest evaluations come from Alex on Autos; there is also an Asian man who does auto evaluations but I cannot remember his name.
It is obvious that you haven't watched any of my videos including this one. I am not a sales person. I don't sell cars. I do not own stocks in any auto company. I do not get paid vacations from auto companies like Alex does. Honesty and objectivity is the reason people watch my videos.
You really need to watch his videos. What the actually f*ck is your issue??? It’s people like you that don’t care and that done have a life. Make your existence have a point! 🤬
You are clueless. Mike is not a salesman. Mike does not get any special treatment from manufacturers that Alex and Soyfan do.
You know nothing! Mike is not a salesman. He is completely honest and he has a life.
tech is good but ugly AF!
