I did this cargo light upgrade and Boy is it awesome! The vanity If used at night while driving the brighter lights can be aggravating as it has too much reflection inside the car. I do not recommend the vanity redo. I also did the reverse lights and that also was an awesome upgrade! A must do! Thanx for the video you did a great job!
Hi Dave, thank you very much for watching and sharing with everyone. The vanity lights are definitely much brighter and thankfully we really only use ours when parked or if we're driving, we'll only use the passenger so the driver can keep their eyes on the road without being distracted. The cargo light is definitely a worthy upgrade. Thanks once again for being a part of our journey. Stay safe out there.
Hi Gasper. Thank you so much for watching and sharing. We appreciate it. Thats great to hear and glad it was the same result we had. Stay safe out there!
Very nice change. LED reverse lights can be helpful... especially for night blind ppl. Interior lighting needs to be good too in my opinion.... cool vid. Thanks.
Thanks for watching. We were shocked too, especially considering her Santa Fe is the top trim level. Makes no sense with everything else they have done to it.
Great tutorial. Ordered some for my sante fe. Have a 2023 hyundai sante fe ltd but it doesnt have ambient lighting installed apparently. Would love a video that shows both this and how to install lights at bottom of doors. If you have done this already, please send me link. Thanks
Hi Dirk, thanks for watching and the kind words! My sincerest aplogies for the delayed response and thank you for your patience. Unfortunately, our understanding is that in order to install OEM ambient lighting into a Santa Fe that does not already have it, that it would likely require the replacement of your entire dash with that of a Calligraphy trim. I'm sure there's some aftermarket kits that could add ambient lights to the footwells... I'm unsure of the lights you're referencing at the bottom of the doors as I do not see any in our Santa Fe, could you point us in the right direction here? Our puddle lights are located on the sideview mirrors. Take care & stay safe!
Hi Andrew. Thank you for watching and sharing the kind words. We greatly appreciate it. For our trim level the turn signal lights are already LED and integrated into the lights. We did upgrade the reverse lights already and that made a huge improvement. We made that episode as well if you didn't catch that one. I believe all we have left is the license plate light. 🙂
Good morning. thank you for your video. how did you replace the bulbs in the front ceiling light above the mirror? I'm looking, but I don't see how to unclip the window to access the bulbs. thanks in advance
Hi Nicolas, thanks for watching and asking! When we swapped all the incandescent interior bulbs, we did not need to change the center map lights as our Calligraphy came with these as LED from the factory. We would love to do some more research online and help you find the answer; could you please send us an email and we'll work with you to figure out how to remove the map light housing as well as the bulb sizes? The owners manual simply states to take the car to a dealer to replace the bulbs, so we suspect there is a combination of clips and screws holding the housing in place. Hope to hear from you soon; take care and stay safe!
@@SpiritedWrenchers Good morning. Thank you for your response, there must be differences between the finishes sold here and here in France. In the meantime, I found the solution to access the bulbs. All you have to do is unclip the plastic surrounding the SOS button, then we have access to two cross-shaped screws. once unscrewed, you must unclip the ceiling light starting from the front of the vehicle and on the sides (it holds in the same way as the rear ceiling light). the bulbs are the same type as that of the license plate. I don't know if I was very clear, if necessary don't hesitate. I follow your channel from France, congratulations to you, everything is very interesting. Have a good day
HI Tonewheel. Thanks for watching and sharing the kind words. We really appreciate it. Completely understand about the center map lights. Some don't like the white lights and prefer the softer. You will just want a lower number where these are likely a 5000 or 6000, the change in those moves it from the yellow to blue so you may be able to find others. Stay safe out there.
Hi and thank you so much for watching and asking. We really appreciate that. For our Santa Fe, the only lights we have in our back seats are those by the grab handles/clothing hooks and those come standard LED for our trim.
HI R Juan Ramos. Thank you for watching. We really appreciate it. Are you asking on how to buy these lights? If so, the link should be in the description. If not, let us know how we can help.
Hi Wayne, thanks for watching and asking! We love hearing our video is helpful! The link for the bulb we used for the cargo light is in the video description. We do not really feel the need to replace our license plate bulbs since they do a good enough job keeping our plate visible for law enforcement purposes. If they die out soon or early, we will certainly be upgrading them and likely put out a video for that. Now, as for the reverse/backup lights, we have a separate video just for those with a shopping link in the description as well here: th-cam.com/video/n1YK3wBAZMY/w-d-xo.html Take care and stay safe!
Hi Philip. Thank you for watching and sharing. We really appreciate it. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any of the companies country shipping policies. Check with Auxito. They are also a channel sponsor. If they ship there, use code Wrenchers for a discount. Hope that helps.
Not mentioned is that the rear license plate bulbs are also incandescent, and can be upgraded to LEDs as well. Also, you shouldn't touch bare bulbs with your fingers. Wear gloves.
HI Douglas, thank you very much for watching and sharing with the community. We appreciate that. You're right. We wrestled on changing those but ultimately decided to leave them be for now as it much of a priority since it didn't benefit us at all if it could be seen better. LOL. Stay safe out there.
Hi Francisco, our apologies for taking so long to get back to you on this! Thank you for watching and noting that the map lights in other Santa Fe trim levels have the opportunity to be upgraded. Our Calligraphy came with LEDs for the front driver and passenger reading lights, so we did not need to go through and upgrade them. We scoured the owner's manual to find the section on replacing worn bulbs, and unfortunately the map light replacement is cited to be done by an authorized dealer. Based on that note, it's likely the entire housing assembly would need to be dropped to access the map bulbs. We do not know for sure and wish that we could do more to help. Take care and stay safe!
Hi Loveduhmusic, thank you for watching and sharing. We appreciate it. That's pretty crazy about Santa Fe. The dealer couldn't figure out how to solve it? Shame you had to let it go.
Hi locksmith db. You are absolutely correct on the difference in light. Something many people don't think about so we appreciate you sharing that with everyone.
Woa! Talk about an upgrade. Seeing the light output difference at night is crazy. As always, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching. We appreciate it.

Great upgrade, it’s crazy how much of a difference those LED bulbs make. Glad to see you guys still doing well 👍🏼
Thanks buddy for watching. Glad to see you back. We're hanging in there. Doing our thing at our pace. A slow pace, but we're still in it. LOL.
What a difference ! Thanks for the tutorial ( and the humor ! )
Thank you for watching and glad you liked the added humor. LOL. We appreciate you!
So much brighter! Thank you!
Hi Locksmith db. Thank you very much for watching and sharing the feedback. We greatly appreciate you! Stay safe out there!
Wow such a big difference!
Thank you brother for watching and sharing. We appreciate you!
I changed them to LED and it is perfect and elegant
Hi Gasper. Thank you so much for watching and sharing. We appreciate it. Thats great to hear and glad it was the same result we had. Stay safe out there!

Thanks for watching and sharing. We appreciate it. Yes, the reverse lights were what we replaced first. Massive difference.
Nice upgrades! It surprises me that any new car at this point don't already come with LED bulbs.
Thanks for watching. We were shocked too, especially considering her Santa Fe is the top trim level. Makes no sense with everything else they have done to it.

Well, now I know who NOT to call if I need help hiding a body at night...🤣😳 Sorry, couldn't resist a little gallows humor. Great upgrade!
ROFL. That's hilarious. I promise to bring the small LED lights then. 🙂. Thank you for watching!
Nice video and thanks for the referral and discount code! Have you thought about doing a video on replacing the rear turn signal lights to LED?
Hi Andrew. Thank you for watching and sharing the kind words. We greatly appreciate it. For our trim level the turn signal lights are already LED and integrated into the lights. Great upgrade… but I’d be more interested in warming up the color for the two center map lights, which are already LED but way too white and bright

👍 I bought led and will follow up. Thanks
Wonderful. Thank you for watching, sharing, and supporting our channel. We look forward to hearing your thoughts after upgrading them. Cheers!
Can you please make a video how to change the front driver and passenger side thank you 😊
Hi, thank you for watching. We appreciate it. Could you clarify which lights you're referring to?
Excelente!!
Thank you Francisco for watching and sharing the kind words. We really appreciate it!
What is the led bulb size for backrow seat lights?
Hi and thank you so much for watching and asking. We really appreciate that. For our Santa Fe, the only lights we have in our back seats are those by the grab handles/clothing hooks and those come standard LED for our trim.
Here you buy the lights please ❤

Hey, does anyone have a same product link for shipping in Germany? I can’t find one :( thank you

😢 how about map light? 2023.

I like my 2021 Santa Fe but the car alarm has been going off by itself. I had to trade it for a 2021 Nissan rogue.
Hi Loveduhmusic, thank you for watching and sharing. We appreciate it. That's pretty crazy about Santa Fe. The dealer couldn't figure out how to solve it? Shame you had to let it go.
The led lights are so much more "natural" looking light..(instead of that yellow glow)
Hi locksmith db. You are absolutely correct on the difference in light. Something many people don't think about so we appreciate you sharing that with everyone.
