Hi Uwenasri, thank you for watching! Our deepest apologies for not replying to your comment sooner. Our 2022 Calligraphy came with LEDs from factory, so this was not at the top of the short list for upgrade for us. Between the weather, our travels, and take a quick break from the channel we have only just now had a moment to look under the hood for the stock headlight bulb locations! Underneath the hood, there are plastic covers that are sealed and can easily be twisted off for access to the headlight bulbs. On the left side (USA driver side), it is easier to access than the passenger side were the wiper fluid fill tube can obstruct the view. Since we did not need to upgrade these bulbs, we would recommend that you do full research into your bulb replacement through Auxito.com, where you can also use the code WRENCHERS for 10% off your order. We bought a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited in 2022, never had a Hyundai...are these very dependable vehicles? We have always been Honda people but wife liked the Santa Fe..
Hi Bobby, thank you for watching and asking! It's been our experience that every new vehicle regardless of make will go through various recalls and warranty items. The important aspect for us was to ensure that we really liked and trusted the dealership as much as the car we wanted to buy as they will be the ones handling (or fighting) any warranty work. We found that our 2022 Calligraphy hasn't had any major warranty work needed aside from an insulation tuck here and a realignment of the rear bumper cover (which we took care of ourselves in this video). There is a known issue with the transmission, which is covered under warranty should we ever experience it, which is related to the oil cooler. That said, we have had no mechanical issues whatsoever in the first 41,000 miles of ownership, and are looking forward to many more road trips! Hope this helps; take care and stay safe!
Great easy to follow video. Is there a, way to change the rear turn signal lights to amber color? It's more noticeable. Not sure why they made it red when the front is amber.
Hi cdchannel, thank you for watching and the excellent question! I believe most manufacturers are repurposing or using red in the rear for the brake lights, while some older vehicles and non-USDM use amber for rear turn signals. With the rear signal being an LED strip inside the bumper cover, it would be possible to replace to amber only if that part was sold as such since the entire lense assembly is red. Hope this helps; take care and stay safe!

Thank you for watching and sharing. We greatly appreciate it. I wouldn't follow Amazon all the time on their compatibility. We recommend going directly to the brands website and using their selector. Yes it’s the same as a 2022. It’s a carryover year. I have a 2022 limited and there’s nothing different on the 2023 model. Amazon just probably doesn’t have the official specs put in yet for the 2023 model year.
Hi Daniel. Thank you so much for watching our episodes, sharing the kind words and subscribing. We greatly appreciate all of the support. Tell us about your Santa Fe and what you love about it. Stay safe out there.
Right?! We were talking about what other LEDs we needed to convert and then noticed there are a few bulbs in the Santa Fe that are normal incandescent. I struggle with why they would do that when the LED lights were a huge selling point for the Calligraphy trim level from the dealer. We'll get around to replacing the other old bulbs soon enough. Thanks for watching!!
Hi D M. Thank you very much for watching and sharing. We appreciate that. A/T tires? You plan on taking off on some trails? How does it ride compared to the streets?
I put these on for a few reasons. First, the limited doesn't come with a spare, so I wanted a more "durable" tire than the OE ones. Second, they are 3 peak winter rated, we do get a good amount of snow in CO. Lastly, we don't offroad but drive a lot of forest service roads for camping. The ride is slightly stiffer and louder, but that was to be expected. The street tires were softer, more quiet and not snow rated. Cheers
Thanks for this and your other videos about the santa fe. I just picked up a 2023 limited today. Ordered the lasfit mats before seeing your video (I normally get weathertech, and would have probably got them for this vehicle too but I had a 2021 rav4 hybrid before this and it came with the all weather mats from toyota and I think they were better than weathertechs-- was really hoping that hyundai would have similar ones but I can't find them and came across the lasfits and figured I'd give them a try). I'm hoping to switch out all incandescent bulbs to led- just trying to figure out what all I need. Can't seem to find any sites that list what each bulb is for the 2023's :(
Hi wantsanewvehicle. Thanks for watching and sharing. We greatly appreciate it. Congratulations on your new Santa Fe and on your new floor liners. Hi Paul. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. We greatly appreciate that. The 15% discount code is only valid on the Auxito website for the bulbs. Hope this helps. Stay safe out there and good luck with your upgrade!
Thank you for your prompt reply, your answer did educate me on my questions. My 2019 Santa Fe doesn’t have any other name badges on it but the name. Which of the LED bulb packages should I order?
@@paulshaar4187 Our pleasure. If you go to Auxito.com and choose LED bulbs followed by your year/make/model info, it will show which bulbs they recommend for the reverse lights. I saw your video channel last night for the first time and I subscribed, I tried to use your 15% discount on Amazon for the Trim Removal Kit, but it would not accept it. I entered "Wrenchers" in the coupon area, but the message says it is not valid. Do you have any suggestions?
Hi Paul. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. We greatly appreciate that. The 15% discount code is only valid on the Auxito website for the bulbs. The links for the Amazon items unfortunately don't have a discount. We just provided those affiliate links to show what we used and if purchase is made through them, we receive a small commission that goes back to helping make additional content on the channel.
I'm not sure which trim you have (you can choose based on headlights) as that may affect which ones to get. On their website is where you can use our code for a discount also. Hope that helps.
Great video. It would've been nice if you'd cover the other interior lighting sections of the Santa fe requiring LED replacements as well (such as the license plate and cargo lights who are all yellow OEM halogen bulbs...yuck). A big thanks for posting this, anyways.
Hi Krain85. Thanks for watching, sharing the kind words and feedback. We felt that it was best to keep them separate since we were planning a different episode on upgrading those, which will be coming soon thanks to our sponsor LasFit. We agree the yellow halogen is ugly so we're excited to get rid of them as well. We hope you stick around to watch it. Stay safe out there!
Link to led bulbs
Thanks for watching. We have the link, bulb type, and the discount code in the description of this episode. Hope that helps.
what about Turn signal and Brake light bulb do you plan to do them LED too ?
Hi Viny do Pham. Thank you for watching and asking. The turn signal and brake lights are already LED so we won't be messing with those.
@@SpiritedWrenchers mine are not LED so that I’m asking something weird some LED some not on 2023 , and I think 2top trims Limited and Calligraphy will have LED the rest none
@@vinydopham7864 Oh, I totally understand now. Ours is the Calligraphy so the rest are LED for us. Auxito & Lasfit should have the bulbs you need and you could use our discount code for savings. Those bulbs should be in the same housing as well.
3:00. *USE A RAG* BEHIND THE TOOL to prevent paint damage.
Thanks for sharing. Yes, certainly a technique that we have used as well. The right tool will also result in no damage in most cases.
I have the same situation with a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Luxury trim. The rear turn signals and backup lights were not LEDs.. while everything in the front is LED. Why? LOL I ordered the same brand lights as mentioned in this video. Also changed the cargo bulb and vanity mirror lights to LEDs.. while everything else in the car is LED. Why? Anyways.. get LEDs..
Hi K H, thanks for watching and commenting. Sorry for our delayed response, but we feel every bit of this! It appears Hyundai didn't have a lot of rhyme or reason to why not all the bulbs were upgraded to LED while others are just left behind in the dust. We have a few more LED conversions to make with interior bulbs, so stay tuned!
1:27 *Video starts here. **_Everything else is advertising._*
Thanks for watching and sharing. We do appreciate it. I believe your timing is a little off as we share the products themselves prior to your 1:27 time stamp. That's pretty important to many viewers. Some also don't know that all of the lights on this trim aren't LED so we share that and of course our Sponsor for the episode. All things we feel are important to share in the true and sincere goal of educating and helping. Stay safe out there!
there is no difference
Thanks for watching Arcadius. We got a good laugh from your comment. There is a massive difference but we appreciate you sharing your opinion.
