You gotta admit that it must be an amazing feeling for the punter to see the rest of your special teams put that extra effort in on the play to make the punt so good.

The ball is placed where the player gains control of the ball. If the ball or a player touching the ball touches the ground in the end zone, it’s a touchback with ball placed on the 20 yard line.

@@DengRobertDeng We gained hella yards because our recieving corp is top 2 in the league. But moving the ball between the 20's is meaningless. Honestly I feel like our shortcomings came from terrible playcalling in key moments, bad decision making on part of the quarterback and being unable to rely on our defense or running game to close out games. Our running situation I would blame on our O-line play mostly. Don't get me wrong, BA isn't going to come in and immediately take us to the superbowl. But I believe he's going to bring a winning culture/attitude to the head coach position and really give our guys a kick in the butt while at the same time set up our coaching staff for the future.
this was like 2-3 years ago (also, they beat the saints week 1)

No a perfect punt is when it rolls to a stop in side the five or one or bounces out inside the five or one. If the player or ball touch the chalk line of the end zone or get further in it goes to the 20. I think there's a rule though if the player comes from out of bounds or the end zone it goes to the 30 35. Punts, FGs and kick offs are why I watch football outside the defense and trick plays. Any thing can happen on special teams could be ruteen catch and run for five ten or fair catch or end zone. These plays, blocked ones or returns or botched make it interesting it's not punt catch return done or catch done commercial it's a crazy play us sully reviewed showed before and after the break/commercial.
