      Dude, Julio was just jogging until he hit the 25 and he put his head down and the afterburners kicked in. Can you imagine running ur hardest and the guy that was behind you catches you and tackles you!!

      @ynot6781 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@maximusgreed Alexander has to slow to make his first 2 two moves , julio had an immediate clear path through traffic from the end zone , Alexander saw early at their 35 after he had to slow for his cuts that Julio was closing and he actually slowed down again , Alexander got an extra 35 yards with the angle away
      Alexander actually slowed three times , julio had the clear path and could've caught him earlier but was lazy until Alexander's 2nd move which slowed him down .
      Nobody in the video was flat out ran down without either showboating , slowing up or angles.

      When the guys are only able to get the ankles.. the runners should learn to do the goose step with the leg. Basically pushing your legs forward at the last second when you know someone is diving for them so they are unable to tap your feet and or you back leg swing isn't high enough for you trip over yourself in a big heap. Rugby players been doing it for years

By the way, Dickerson afterwards said this: “I’m not ashamed that Darrell Green ran me down. Now if it was a linebacker, I'd be ashamed.”

      Yeah my high school physics teacher had us do the F=M*A. Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration. So we figured out that some of these players when the hit head on are in a mini car crash based on the Force that they sustain. He had us compare a various car stops inside the vehicle 5mph fender benders to more rolling speeds……eg: seatbelts as airbags weren’t a thing yet. So I’m not surprised at al brain damage is common among them. My favorite is Troy Aikman…(lol) he get stuck on a word and repeats himself….

    Larry Allen highlight is insane!!! The last one where Darryl Green tackles Tony Dorsett is being under appreciated. When you see the entire play , there running a sweep to the opposite side of where Green is. Not only does he outrun the angle he does it across the other side of the field without pursuing until Tony breaks the corner. I think if I'm remembering correctly no one had ever caught Tony Dorsett before this.

      Bill T Oh yes it has. Here it is. Just FF to 0:07 seconds: th-cam.com/video/dgYYaL--1qc/w-d-xo.html Bo was fast but he was not in the top 10 fastest players of all time.

    • @mykull666
      @mykull666 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bo Jackson never had more than 5 TDs in a season, so he didn't have a lot of long runs to get run down on. Hell, in 4 years he only went over 100 yards 7 times. His football and baseball career was mediocre at best. He should have played football full-time. At least he might have had a chance at the Hall of Fame, but he was never gonna reach it in baseball and had no chance of doing it in football playing part-time.

      And tbh it’s pretty amazing because you can tell Adam was running on pure tenacity because the dude’s legs looked like they could barely keep up! I kept thinking ... any second now he’s gonna trip himself! 😂

      Doesn't do Darrel Green justice to only show the end of the clip. He caught him from a dead stop at the corner position on the opposite side of the field!

      I was at the game when he chased Dickerson down. This list was pretty bad, probably because it was made by a 20 year old but there are much better ones.

      Just like the Cardinals OT win against the Packers in the 2009 wild card game. "Karlos Dansby took it away from Aaron Rodgers!" Um, nope. Mike Adams hit Rodgers and forced the fumble that bounced right up into Dansby's hands. Dansby just went "Hey, look what I found!"

    • @jefffawcett
      @jefffawcett 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      no, YOU don't know any history or recognize that Walker's short stride is what made him a GREAT sprinter, one of the top 60 yard dash runners in the world. No doubt at all he was a legit 4.3 guy. He finished 2nd when Carl Lewis broke the world record in 1983 www.nytimes.com/1983/02/06/sports/lewis-runs-fastes-60-yard-dash-in-6-02.html
