Great video.. 2 tips I picked up from another video. 1 - Inflate and check for leaks before installing. It's a pain to remove if you find there a leak in the air bags. This is only precautionary step. Other than that I would say if you can get help folding the air bags after putting it in hot water it will save time. Zip ties also seem to be a must on installation. Just remember to be cautious when removing the zip ties after inserting the air bags. 2 - Using a soapy water mix will help to install the airbags. .
Thank u. Love people like u man. “I did a couple of mistakes and you could learn from them” if there was more people like u in this world we’d live so much better and life would be much easier. A lot of people are selfish and want u to make the mistakes u already made instead of helping u out before u make them. Very nice video. 👍👍
Hey, thank you so much for the kind words. I have learned from other videos and feel I should give back when I can. I’m not afraid to admit I make mistakes. The only thing that frustrates me is when people love to criticize or give you thumbs down? I don’t get that! Hope your install went well. I sold my 2014 Ram and got a new Ram. I also made an install video for that truck with the new remote controlled compressor.
Thanks Dave, I am planning on putting a set on my 1500 to correct "Trailer Squat" that my weight distribution hitch does not do. I could see myself doing all of this (by myself) and your video just confirmed I can do this in my driveway... Great video and tips !!
What keeps the valve on top of the bags from getting smashed down? They are sticking up past the spacer and even if they weren't, the hose would be getting smashed. Nobody ever shows any of that after they put the load on.
I just went to do my I stall today and the zip ties they gave me are way too small in my opinion to pull off the hot dog zip. I got the passenger side in the hard way today. Oddly on my 2017 Laramie there was no rubber protector on the passenger spring? Not sure why... I'll try hot water tomorrow and zip ties for the driver's side. Thanks for the tip on applying the hose on the fitting before hand. I'll be doing that part tomorrow. Not sure if I'll need to pull the inner fenders to get the puck and line in place. Hopefully not.
Thanks for the video David. About to install these in my 19 ram. Have you had any issues with them yet? Heard a few stories of the fitting blowing out the top.
Mark Abston. Hey Mark, I hope the video helped. I have had no issues. In fact I just inflated them to 60 psi to tow my boat 250 miles today, no problem. No leaks, no fittings blowing off the top.

There is a hole in the upper spring perch which allows the valve to go up unobstructed

@@HandyDoc I haven't done the install yet. They're ordered and I will definitely use your method. Thanks for the video.
@@HandyDoc Finished the install. Using your method it took about 20 seconds per side to get the bag in the spring. Thanks a lot for the helpful video.
Great tip with those zip tied. Will be taking your advise today!
How have these held up?
Yes they have! I sold the truck so I can’t give you long term results
@@HandyDoc thank you
