I love this hair cut super cute!! Even though you didn’t really follow brad mondo techniques. I personally think it turned out way better then brads. You did a fantastic job thanks for sharing
I loved your tutorial! i've only seen girls with curly hair doing those tutorials, and I have straitgh hair. I really wanted to see how it would look like, thank you for posting this ♥
I thought the diy shag started with the ponytail placed on the crown, not the forehead? She did the unicorn cut, which should have resulted in a pronounced “V” shape in the back, which I didn’t see. Strange, but her hair turned out good.
Looks wonderful! You have pretty, thick hair. Someone commented that you should get "real haircut scissors," but I think the ones you used did a very good job, so buying stylist shears would be totally up to you. I just ordered some off Amazon because I have been using a pair of well-used sewing scissors. And, they have done fine to this point, also! No beauty shop cuts since January of 2020.
That’s the unicorn cut! Brad said to put the ponytail on top of your head & the unicorn cut makes a v shape so I think you altered it before you showed it dried!??
pulling the ponytail all the way to the forehead will cut off more of the length and adds more layers, the ponytail on the top of the head leaves more length and you still need to overdirect the sides to had the layer around the face. Hope this helps !
@@wzrdreams if that is the main reason they say she didnt follow, Brad has said multiple times to either have ur hair wet OR have it straightened but dry.. its the same. so i agree with you on this one. she did great
I did this recently and I really like it, although, I did catch Brad Mondo because maybe 6 months before he made the tutorial, he had another video where he said to never ever cut your hair this way and how ugly he thinks the layers turn out when you do it like this. I think he has a great personality but as far as hair advice, I don't think I'll be listening to him again lol.
I would follow brad mondo's tutorial or a shag haircut tutorial for advice on a diy cut but yeah i think it should be fine to tie your hair in a pony tail for this cut!
Not that Brad Mondo is a great source of hair advice, but if she was following his tutorial he says to do it wet...which makes sense because if you have any wave or curl texture to your hair you wanna be able to get everything smoothed out and pulled forward evenly so you don't get an uneven cut
Get a real haircut scissors
LOL
They’re called shears.

That actually looks really really good!

it's probably bc she didn't cut any of her length off
I thought the wolf cut started with ponytail on the crown? The unicorn, all hair on the forehead
@@naby2311 She did cut length off.
That looks amazing!!! You did a great job!!
Tip: keep ur head in a straight position looking forward while you cut the layers
ah yes good point, thanks!!!
That came out super cute!!😀
Beautiful hair!! I feel more confident now.
OMG! 😘🫂THAT'S REALLY PRETTY 😍

yeah i might have put the ponytail way too high haha but no i didn't alter it! i just cut it the way i understood the tutorial, oops 😬 🐒
I think it looks awesome! I cut my own hair too !
This came out so good
thank you 🥲
Looks great!
thank you 🥲😁
Great job!
I loooved his tutorial. I already had a stylist cut it though
Beautiful! Nicely done ❤️💕❤️
thank you:)
Looks so good !!!!
Hola 👋🏼, tengo una pregunta, cómo hiciste para que no te quede en punta atrás?
Really lovely cut
thank you gillian!!
The other video shows her putting pony tail in the middle you put in the front I am confused

Now do one in you crown to get rid of the bulk in back or one one each side fir the same debulking
OMG! 😃..... So pretty!.... I love it!
She's very brave.
Loved it
I’ve been doing this for years
It really works
Looks super cute
🥰🥰🥰ty
Came out really good 👍
You have beautiful hair!!😊❤
thank you olivia!!
I NEVER Cut My Hair When It's Wet. Because Hair Shrinks When It's Dry.
Def didn’t follow Brad Mondo’s tutorial but looks good
I was thinking the same, lol. Definitely agree on it turning out nicely though!
Just because it was wet? So what? I think she did a great job.
@@wzrdreams if that is the main reason they say she didnt follow, Brad has said multiple times to either have ur hair wet OR have it straightened but dry.. its the same. so i agree with you on this one. she did great
@@wzrdreams no because she did the ponytail completely differently lol
Why did you color it dark?!

OMG I want your haircut ma'am!
Im doing it tmorrow cant wait
You're so pretty ❤
Thank you- so are YOU.
Not a shag- but turned out gorgeous!!!!!
Looks nice. I’ve been doing mine like that for years
Nothing new here. This was how we did it in the seventies.
I stil say that hair cut self is easy end not hard :) I cut myself almost five yers and is super and my hair never looks better than now :)
Awesome!
Nice job!! How long was your hair before?
Maybe an inch or two longer, I didn't cut it too much!
What brand are your scissors?
I looked at the top rated hair cutting scissors on Amazon, not sure which brand!
That wasn't a shag haircut!
Good job.
Is it ok to tie my hair in a ponytail?
Please answer me!!!!
I would follow brad mondo's tutorial or a shag haircut tutorial for advice on a diy cut but yeah i think it should be fine to tie your hair in a pony tail for this cut!
No, just bring all hair to same place no band . The band makes shelfs
Perfeito. Parabéns!
THANK YOU!
Lovely.!!
thank you:)
This is definitely not a shag. But it is cute and well done
Lol that's not a shag, looks like a basic layered haircut.
LOL. I guess you're right, I was kinda timid with the cut haha
This is NOT a new method. I cut my hair like this in 1971. lol😂🤣😂
😍
I think you're hair is supposed to be dry when you cut it.
Not that Brad Mondo is a great source of hair advice, but if she was following his tutorial he says to do it wet...which makes sense because if you have any wave or curl texture to your hair you wanna be able to get everything smoothed out and pulled forward evenly so you don't get an uneven cut
Great job, but once again, not a shag.
Never never ponytail cut. Just don't do it.
Why?
@@Africanna.Brazilianna It leaves shelfs on hair. Just bring all hair to same place and trim. No ponytail.
