I purchased the Masterclass the year before Covid. I have been cutting my own hair ever since. I bought the 360 degree mirror that was recommended and use it when I cut and color. I have been coloring my own hair for at least 20 years, but I learned some excellent tips in the class.

As a senior woman, and showing every minute of a life "well lived" (well lived indeed-and showing it!) I happen to have thick, glossy rich honeyed hair with miraculously no grey hair. And I've been a senior for DECADES, ok? My hair, it looks fabulous so why not showcase it! Yes, it's LONG! Now you've shown me a way to truly showcase it without looking like "that old woman with the long hair" THANK YOU!

I've only been to the salon a few times in my life. I gave myself cuts and then about 15 years ago i flipped my head upside-down, brushed it all even and just cut across; and when i flipped my head back up i had a great cut and to my suprise also front layers. I've cut my hair that way ever since.

Just bought the course and I am SO EXCITED that you offer this!! I became my own hair person during Covid and like many of us...ruined my hair by making every mistake possible and having zero clue what I was doing. Then my hair was falling out due to a medication I took for a year. Now...I am on the other side of that hellish nightmare and my hair is growing back. My hair journey will be simply growing it out and trimming it myself this year, allowing time to do the rest. I already feel relief from watching the first intro video. It will help confirm some of the stuff I learned the hard way. Thank you so much for being here. Happy 2024.

I love that you’re teaching people how to give themselves some fresh looks at home. I figured out how to do this myself about 9 years ago, and it is easy. I watched how my hair stylist did my hair each time. She moved away, and I wasn’t stuck. 😃 This ability to do my own hair saves me so much on haircuts. 🤙🏽

This is an overall confidence-builder in that the video is not shot by the person cutting their hair, but of the person cutting their hair, and the specific instructions are great. But I wish the person that demonstrated did not have such short, layered hair already. I really needed to see it done with long hair that has the layers all grown out to see how to cut a clean line when there is no visual from other layers to guide you.

I remember when my older sister and her friend tried to give me layers when I was 12. I ended up with lamb chops! My mom was so mad. 😆

Great question. I have a few videos on hot to cut short pixie haircuts as well as how to cut men’s cuts with clippers. Everything from Bob length to my length hair is covered.

I can definitely find some for you. Can I ask your budget? Shears can get really expensive really quickly depending on how good you want them to be.

Isn’t this an angle as opposed to layers? When I tell a stylist I want this, I say I want the front angled away from my face.

Let's say someone parted their hair straight down the middle front to back, pulled one entire side, including the hair from the back of it and done this than done the other side the same.
    a) would this put layers all through including the back?
    b) how would the back turn out? Would it be even and would the ends be super thin and wispy?
    c) would the back be in a "v" or "u" angle, or would it be straight across in the back?

I’ve been loving your videos, especially those aimed at more mature women. I have a question about coloring that no one so far has had an answer for. My hair is naturally a dirty/ashy blonde and I’ve been coloring it medium reddish brown for decades. Now I want my grays but I’d like the remaining non-gray hairs to still be colored the medium red. Is there any way to achieve this??

      When coloring or bleaching your
Hair @ keep fabulous and healthy you must use oval Plex in your bleach or your colors. You will be amazed how your hair becomes healthy when you condition use cool or Warm water only and don’t strip all the conditioner off your hair. You don’t necessarily need to condition your scalp every time. Also, don’t shampoo every day and don’t use Violet shampoo each and every time but you can condition often without shampooing. Hope this helps.

My hair , oh GOD , my poor hair!!! It is naturally wavy to bouncy curls, bright natural red and tips down to about 7-10 inches past my bra! I used a few keratin products and ever since my hair is a brittle looking and feels wrong but I used ACV mixed with water then it was a little better but not quite.
The hair cut I have is soooo wrong as I had that new haircut everyone has raved about and I have a tip that’s terrible and it’s just to long for me to cut myself ??? I’m afraid after messing it up like this I think I need to throw in the towel and surrender already!!! I am an old school registered cosm. So it’s not easy!!! I love my hair bc I am so blessed!!! As a CB lead country singer my hair is very important! Would seem some are so jealous I had to start cutting it myself!! Really! Ugh! Ty❤for hearing me.
