I think Loki actually killed King Harold for sure - I think King Harold was the one that was actually evil. Remember the Big Mom flashback, there were kids being groomed by Mother Carmel and trafficked to become government agents or marines. King Harold was doing deals with the world government but Loki interrupted his plans and killed him, subsequently taking his devil fruit. Remember there was a weird connection between Big Mom and Loki too - she indeed might return in this arc.

I can see a few ways, could very well just be holy knights are celestial dragons who ate a devil fruit of their choosing that fit them best, and awakened it, only problem I have with this is I feel the route of blackbeard is going this way but that doesn't make it any less logical. The other manner is something like Claymore Manga. Effectively this is a path I could see it going down. Process to gain the monster/yokai abilities from Imu and immortality, let's just be nice to me and accept it's something like ingesting Imu's "sacred dragon blood" ya know something akin to this. Probably from Imu's own devil-ish power (devil shaped tail, summoning pentagram circles, ya know the whole straight evil vibes lol and well other themes we all can see fruits/trees/devils/gods.) What if holy knights are given a smidgen of this "power" system via Imu, but it either takes a while to synthesize [you could akin this to awakening your devil fruit taking some time and effort/body and mind catching up to it] or erode that persons soul, meaning you'd have to be a holy knight for let's say a decade or longer generally speaking to even be eligible for the "full transformation" and elder "promotion". Naturally only those talented enough would be capable of handling this procedure, those with a strong will/ambitions (haki). I'm now imagining a failed operation of this ritual is like when muzan gives some cells to a random chick and she melts into basically muk lmao. However you might like in Claymore be something akin to a half human half devil (yokai/monster), if you survive the procedure. Then you go into the holy knights as a new recruit, or perhaps that's the stage after already being indicted into it as a "passing/clearance" exam a litmus test for those with talent for Imu. Upon completion you would be granted powers though, "devilish magic" and in that you are stronger than any normal human, don't have any devil fruit weaknesses either, and the holy knights are probably all the strongest members of the celestial dragons presumably at this point would have to also be strong haki users at the least. So basically for the same reason elder's are powerful, you'd get a smidgen of that "power" + youth and hakiman feats making you also possibly not get nerfed immediately by blackbeard. Honestly My thoughts 💭 on it all i believe they aka shanks2.0 killed king Harold, in the presence of Loki. who know why maybe for the devil fruit?. To add to that he probably saw shanks 2.0 first and then later the real shanks so if fake shanks doesn't have a scar Loki thinks that it was shanks and that shanks got the scars afterwards
Saturn said he met Vegapunk one time, judging from the cover page he mostly likely Vegapunk went to the holy lands. From there on he was shown to only be communicating via den den meshi on egghead. So how could had Saturn teleport to island if he never shown to had been there?
