Love the channel! But, I gotta ask, how much weight are u saving removing seats and the drag pack? I'm trying to do the power to weight math on a mostly stock SP running 11.5's. I'd love to get my SP into the 11's.
On Mrs. X's scatpack we do run the dragpack .. the rears are actually essentiall the same weight but we save about 10lbs a piece on the fronts I believe.. the passenger seat on her car is about 50lbs.. total around 70lbs maybe. I didn't bother to take the back seats out. The runners do help with rolling resistance .. Keep in mind that her car runs very strong for some reason.. better than the vast majority of scats I have seen and this was in good air. Tune and headers coming soon

Ummm... not sure what is meant by "down almost 500 HP"... the car barely makes 500 WHP as it is LOL... she made right at 490 WHP(SAE Corrected) when I dyno'd her back in the Summer. Nothing has changed hardware wise with my set up with the exception of JLT Cold Air Intake(which the jury is still out on). We have made some adjustments to the tune that have made a considerable difference in the 60', but aside from that, the set up is essentially the same as it was last Summer. The weather conditions also played a factor in how strong she was running.

Her car was about 250lbs lighter than mine(with passenger seat pulled) and he red lit(jumped) out if the hole which is why the race looked as close as it did. A quick ET is cool, but it does not give a true indication of the power the car is making, PLEASE always include the trap speed with the ET. The trap speed also gives a good idea of the ET the car is capable of running if it will hook up good.

Not looking like the 1320 is worth it IMO. That base trim scat pack is 4K less and with that amount, could put that into mods to beat the 1320 easily. Both are great cars but you really can’t go wrong with a base scat.
Um for the 4K you get ADAPTIVE Dampening like with the 6K add on of wide body that's how it's able to do the Demon drag mode, Trans Brake, Demon Front Springs, Demon Axles...a drag mode specific to weight transfer, 4 devils own wheels with 4 drag radials STOCK ( no need to spend 3k on a drag pack, but if you put skinny up front you got 2 pairs of rears and he told you will was 200lbs lighter...plus all the rare badging, yellow fob, hidden logos and if you plan to own the car...yea like 51 indigo blue were sold first year it's HELLA RARE ( it will be like the A12 in 20 years ) OH and it's warranted for drag strip use...you get a LOT of stuff for 4k...the magnaride alone is nearly work it...the clutches are different for the trans to have transbrake which equates to it being a 8ZZFHP75 vs 70 scat or 90 Demon aka higher tq rating... The car is faster and everything about it is ready for adding power plus 20 years from now 1000x more rare than even hellcats.... Wish Ford or Chevy offered drag strip ready packages with nhra memberships and warranty.....

At the track we both use the same tire .. Mickey Thompson ET Street R 305x45x17 .. they are awesome
