I'm in a similar position to you (Golf GTI Mk7 in navy with the same Austin wheels). The wheels have been diamond cut before and the universal advice now is to powder coat due to a lack of suitable surface 'meat' on this style and the more practical nature of the powder coat. Option one is a two tone powder coat to look like the original wheels but the process used struggles to get a sharp line where the back meets the silver. Option two which I'm leaning to is a gloss black which looks in-keeping with the car's colour scheme.

I’ve had my car since Tuesday same alloys as yours the tyreshop ruined my alloy with tyre machine I hope it’s repairable
Nice work
But the color could have been better
Colour choice was great but maybe should’ve gone for a two tone colour with black on the inserts
Hi I did discuss 2 tone with black and bronze but the powder coating company I used said it wouldn't be possible. Thanks for the comment
