Okay I know that this was mainly a product review but this was incredibly helpful for learning how to apply the makeup with brushes/what type of brushes to use!! I feel like you’re my big sister teaching me how to do my makeup I love it 😂
I absolutely love your videos. I think the only downside is that you make me want to go and buy more makeup every time I watch your videos. I feel like you are the only one who shows what the products truly look like. I love that you show the imperfections in your skin even with the foundation applied. You sell me on foundation more than any other TH-camr and I spend a lot of time watching videos and have for more than 10 years. Other TH-camrs use so many filters to make their skin look flawless but that is so unrealistic. You seem so down to earth and real. Please don’t ever stop being you! Love your videos!!
Ah, your tips on the primer make so much sense! I’ve been having trouble with my tinted moisturizers not really setting, and I do think it’s the silicone based primer I have been using with it!
Girl you had me so interested in the balm that I did a target run for best selection before the sell out. I got the last one in my shade and you did not oversell. This was so unique and I could feel the difference. Your beautiful smile always brightens my day. Thank you for turning me on to something I probably wouldn’t have known about and your tip on how to apply it was most appreciated!
The l'oreal serum is now my #1 foundation. It sets as a satin/natural finish...no setting needed and we still wear masks by law where I live. It doesn't come off. I'm glad you posted this comparison. I'll pass on the balm. I'll look sweaty in this Caribbean heat with it, not glowy. 😅
I bought this and love the formula. The problem I had was when I opened the jar it looked like a pumpkin. Not the fault of the product of course. I’m a cool undertone and need a little pink or rose. It did give me a chance to try out my LA Girl foundation mixing pigment in the blue color. It worked just fine and saved my little pumpkin foundation.
Yeah I have to mix green corrector in everything because I’m so olive. I feel like there is so many options for warm/peachy and neutral girls in drugstore makeup
@@channelcoconut6830 right now in winter I'm a more pale warm/yellow type and over the last couple years I feel like the there a much better range of colours in the drugstore for me. Olive tones on the other hand... You can find them here and there, but especially cooler or pale olive tones are so hard to come by, so I feel for you.
@@AliaslsailA I agree. My summer shade is becoming easier to find because I am a light-medium olive undertone. My winter shade is a lighter version, and I find it challenging to find that shade, whether it is high-end or drugstore, but it is better than it used to be.
I watched this video yesterday and immediately went out and bought this balm foundation.........I LOVE IT!!! I have oily, textured skin and this still worked SO well for me. Thank you for this video.
Okay I’ve seen someone say they prefer the original foundation but you’ve definitely made me do double takes on products that I wrote off but u recommend that turned out great!
Thank you for such a wonderful and thorough review! I can’t wait to try the tinted balm. I’ve used the L’Oréal serum and I’ve also enjoyed it. You’re so naturally beautiful & your personality is easy to listen to.
The balm foundation looks uber interesting. Love the look it provides. Great information and wonderful explanation and mini tutorial. Most appreciated. Thanks Dacey
It's definitely a presence foundation..I have very dry skin and it works 🥰 you nailed the description just as I explained it.. my new fave..I personally love it more than ilmakage and fenty both I mix to make it flawless but 4n1 tint balm works wonders with my skin for that dewy hydrated sheer look!
The Kosas powder doesn’t set my makeup down, esp the under eyes. And I feel like I’m not using a lot of concealer, cause I wondered if that was it. This foundation looks amazing! Gonna try it out. Also, the L’Oréal skin tint was not dewy on me. Actually set down super matte.
Interesting, I have always had super good luck with the Kosas powder! And I agree - the L'Oreal skin tint isn't dewy, it's more a satin finish with a built in strobe.
I love the kosas powder also but I saw someone get a new one and they had to like ruff off a dry top layer off there powder then it was picking up on a brush and working well but mine didn't need that. Maybe some get baked to much
I’m so excited about these L’Oréal skin products! I love the L’Oréal Infallible Fresh Wear and Pro Glow and now am looking forward to trying out this balm, the serum, the Age Perfect, etc.
I've just now found this video. I'm 65 yo, and have gone crazy over this balm. It's the ONLY product I've used that completely blurs and makes my pores on my nose disappear. I have very dry skin, I'm fair to medium and I've bought all shades up to medium 10, and they all blend into my neutral skin tone perfectly. I went to Walmart yesterday to grab an extra Light 20, they were out, the lady said it's being discontinued. I don't know if that's just Walmart because they do have all colors at Walgreens, but at a much higher price. Love your review on this. I love this balm due to my age and not liking any heavy 'foundation' anymore. I have found using my fingers, then a damp beauty blender to be best for me, a brush didn't work so good, but I'll say that my blush goes on much better over this balm than almost anything else I've tried. I don't use a primer either. PS. .that Lanolips is also a great lip product.
Wow!!! Picked this up to Walmart today and was not disappointed when I tried it using your method!!! Thanks for the tips and super informative video :)) keep killing it, all the love!
Can’t wait to try the balm foundation! I’ve been using CG Outlast cream foundation for almost two decades because it’s so easy and effortless. Liquid foundation’s can be so temperamental and so much work where with creams or balms they blur imperfections and if extra coverage is needed you can use a little concealer. Plus they travel so much easier.
Interesting! The CG Outlast Cream foundation never really worked for me, I wasn't able to find a shade that actually matched my undertones correctly. Hopefully you'll love this L'Oreal balm foundation when you try it out! x
@@DaceyCash tried my local Walmart without luck so I’m off to Ulta tomorrow in hot pursuit. Hey babe keep these drugstore videos coming, so helpful 😍❤️ by the way, if u see this, could u please do a video on ur jwellery collection especially earrings? Would absolutely love that 😊
I love these videos !!!! Thanks for making my Monday love!!! Helps with the Monday blues! I’ve been wfh so I love the lighter no makeup makeup look !!! Omg yes side by side I needed to see this! How is the color range? Do u think it oxidize a lot? I’m struggling getting everything too dark!!
Shade range of this specific range is considerably smaller than other L'oreal base product shade ranges, but I feel like it's because this is a "tint" and I've noticed with their lighter coverage products the shade ranges are smaller in comparison to their foundation shades. I think it's because with these tinted products - one shade can technically work for multiple skin tones, because they are initially so sheer upon first application! I personally haven't noticed any oxidation with this.. if it does oxidize it wasn't noticeable enough for me. I feel like for me personally oxidation doesn't really happen with specific products, but more so my skincare underneath.. certain skincare products make my foundation darken. Maybe that's what's happening to you, just a thought.
So yesterday i dropped my foundation bottle and it shattered. Ok, it's the universe telling me it's time to try something new so i did a ton of research and had three choices. First Walgreens, didn't have any of the three in my shade. No worries, next Walgreens. What?? Same exact thing. All three, no shade match. Really universe?? So i sat out in my car and did some more research and came out with this product 🙂 I'm really excited to try it. I have mature skin with some sun damage. I came straight here because i knew you would give us your honest opinion.

I love this also. I have been using it with the new Maybelline and new Revlon concealers because there not so full coverage. I love the skin tint serum but that one doesn't last as long as the balm with my oily skin.
