It definitely goes on well with the fingers. I'm 71 and love the lightness of this product. I got the light shade and will buy a darker one for the summer. It does take two light applications to cover and a light powder to remove some shine. I highly recommend especially if you're a user of BB and CC creams

The skincare ingredient in it is Matrixyl 3000 which is made up of the two peptides at the bottom of the ingredients list, but they're too low on the list to be very effective.
Yes. Often these companies add just a tiny amount of these “skin care” ingredients so they can market products as anti-aging, skin care whatever. You are right, at the bottom of the ingredient list there’s not enough to be effective.

I bought it. I'm extremely oily and I wear sunscreen so maybe that had something to do with it not blending as well. Was a little streaky no matter how I applied it and it really is meant for dry skin. I'll wear it for trips to the supermarket.
I have been using the L'Oréal tinted serum for about three months LOVE it ❤️. Easy to use, enough coverage for my 52 years young light to medium neutral complexion.
I have the serum foundation and it's awesome, would highly recommend! I also have this balm foundation and really enjoy it as well. I think if I had to choose I would go with the serum, but both are excellent, both very skin like (serum has a bit more coverage).

Other than the color in the jar being misleading (the one I bought is really too light for me), I think I will like it. I only did one layer, so after seeing this will try a second. I'm 62 with relatively smooth skin for my age. I do notice with powder that I can see the age related lines a bit more than with just my tinted CC cream. I was looking for something with more of a "finished" finish, if that makes sense.

I agree...I don't think the skincare part of this is going to do much. Look how high phenohexanol (sp) is on the ingredient list. Since it can only be no more than 1% of a product, the amount of peptides etc is miniscule. It looks promising as a foundation, but not a skincare item.
Great presentation but at 68 yrs, I have some dark spots. I see this would not be for me as a foundation. I could use it as a primer, but I need full coverage like Ultma II Wonderwear did. (Creme matte finish in frosted jars). They discontinued it and I haven't come close to a descent replacement. CAN Anyone else suggest a recommendation? HELP, MAYDAY, 911❣🙏😢😭
Kathy, Chanel has a foundation in a jar that has a mousse like texture in medium or buildable full coverage. Comes in an array of shades, but very, very expensive ( $135.00 ). The foundation does comes with a brush. Hope that helps.
It's got papain ,peptide & biotin,though ? These are good for skin. Papain & biotin are good for oily skin. Peptide is good for wrinkles & biotin could be good for dry skin,too as it'll help to produce fatty acid to nourish the skin as well as it helps normalize the oil glands ! So ,that takes care both oily skin & dry skin. I believe !? 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞p.s. citric acid is mild exfoliating that takes care of dead celks & clarify the skin. So does the pineapple extract in this .So, I think it's got skin care value ! Since it's a balm texture foundation ,people with oily skin are afraid to use a product like this,but those ingredients will solve the issue not to break out ? Also ,forgot to mention it has sodium hyarulonate!! Glycerin. I suppose so !! Also ,it does mild exfoliation that does good for all types of skin.
Tocopherol, Saccharomyces tea extract, papain, sodium hylauronate is also good. Maybe more I did not feel like looking anything up though. Lol But yeah there are “anti aging “ ingredients in this formula. Don’t know if it strong enough to see a difference but who knows.

I think I might give this a try I’m 49 and I have never worn make up, but I’m getting to the age where I feel like I need a little something something, if you know what I mean lol. Do you mind if I ask you a question though? Do you shave your face? I do not and the main problem I have always had with foundations is my peach fuzz being emphasized, so I just wanted to know if you were a face shaver because that does make a difference. They don’t have a shade for truly fair skinned people. I’ve bought both of the lightest tints and the shades look clownish and orange. Very disappointed .
I LOVE this balm ! I am 77 years young and it feels great on my dry skin and doesn't settle into my lines. Wish there were more shades.

It’s got a nice finish.. at 49, I’m often best off with bb creams, and no-makeup foundations.. my makeup hoarding self may have to scoop some up too!

That is disappointing especially because L’oréal are typically pretty good about full range shades in other foundations 😕

I have the serum foundation and it's awesome, would highly recommend! I also have this balm foundation and really enjoy it as well. I think if I had to choose I would go with the serum, but both are excellent, both very skin like (serum has a bit more coverage).

The tinted serum is over priced in my opinion. I was disappointed when I had to pay 20 dollars for it lol
