it’s crazy to think the best place to live during soviet times was in a place in the world that is nearly unreachable. people were made to be loved, things to be used. the world is in turmoil because all is opposite

i think about 100-200 people still lived there, mostly to run the mine, russian embassy, and tourism support

food wasn't free in the soviet union, you had to pay money at canteens
