      I may or may not have bought this certain eye cream because of the packaging and because it was on sale 👀 (the pyunkang yup black tea time reverse eye cream) but in my defense, it wasn't that expensive, it's got peptides and I use it on my forehead 😬 I'm looking forward to owning a cute tin for pens and pencils 😁

    My favorite eye cream is the mizon snail mucin eye cream. I had a huge reduction in dark circles, amazing hydration in my eye skin (without any burning or irritation), and reductions in fine lines! Not to mention it is an amazing base for concealer! Mizon eye cream + glossier stretch concealer = you literally cannot even tell I’m wearing concealer.

    Hi Cassandra. I really agree with you on eye creams. BUT you should be extremely cautious when saying that the undereye area is the same as the rest of our skin. That can mislead people into doing some pretty harmful stuff to their faces like doing chemical peels or applying strong retinoids under the eyes. This area is different and should be treated differently.
    Keep up the good job❤

    • @CassandraBankson
      @CassandraBankson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +51

      This is so true, thank you! Anatomically it is "the same", and most of my words here do reflect a kind rebuttal to the idea that "the undereye area doesn't have pores" etc that's passed around social media - but you're right! Since it is thinner, exfoliation and strong ingredients can be more irritating. Technically, some chemical peels can be done around the eyes as long as they don't get in the eyes, but avoiding this risk is what most practitioners do. Additionally, it's hard to gauge the thickness or depth for each person. I really, REALLY appreciate you mentioning this and bringing it up! Love and appreciate you!!

I have since unsubscribed from them, but I Have continued to ask for these I masks for Christmas and my birthday every year, and I also make them last for at least three uses. Honestly, they do more for my crowsfeet and smile lines then Botox ever has. I am serious! The way I use them is I rotate them up between my eyebrow and my hairline to catch the most smile lines outside my eyes instead of close to the tear duct area. Tempted now to try and use them on my double chin…

I love also that you can put whatever formulas you love and work for you under your eyes and use these to just contain it to that area more!!! What do you think about Verseed’s Vacation Eyes Brightening Eye Gel and First Aide Beauty Niacinamide Cream? I’ve heard great things about both and have the Verseed product, but haven’t used it regularly enough to say if it really works honestly. But the First Aide Beauty is a little pricey and I saw mixed reviews. I don’t want to spend that much if I can find something that works just as well, for much less! Hi Cassandra I wish you could ever talk about a couple famous Indian skincare products that bloggers rave about and then bring out the ugly truth as well as suggest your own recommendations from Indian brands. 😊 I have bought a bunch of products from foreign brands after watching your recommendations and really excited to see the results. Unfortunately in India it gets expensive for us to buy those items post heavy duty hence if you could ever do a video I would really appreciate it.
    Thank you for your detail oriented videos. Love from India 💕

      Dr Dray likes the derma e vit c bright eyes hydro gel patches not for the vit c but for the caffeine that depuffs. They're good to use in the morning. She's also recommended the skyn iceland hydro cool firming eye gels for the same purpose. Penn Smith Skincare has recommended the skyn iceland dissolving microneedle eye patches with HA to smooth and hydrate.

      Use Vaseline. I've put Vaseline on my eyes every night for 8 years for my eczema and had no idea it helped with aging. Now I'm in my late 20ties and my eyes are wrinkle free (they don't even crinkle when I smile) and I look younger than my younger siblings. Down side is my forehead has permeant wrinkle lines so my forehead looks like it's about to hit 30 and my eyes look 21 🙄.

    I love this!! Question - is it safe to use retinaldehyde at 0.05% underneath the eyes? I've been starting retinoids with the Geek and Gorgeus retinal and using it under my eyes, so I'm a little nervous! If it isn't, could I use the Orindary granactive emulsion under my eyes? I really hope you’ll like them because I use them for a while and I satisfied with them.(I know they have fragrance but it doesn’t bother me as much...or should I?😆 it doesn’t irritate me)
    And sure, I put them all over my face.

      Dark circles are the check engine light of your liver. Detox the liver and the dark circles disappear. (A coffee enema works excellent, but distilled water works too) if you have a little money look into ozone therapy. There is NO TOPICAL CREAM that will help those dark.circles until you "fix" the problem. Good luck 🙏🏽Oh yeah, look at Markus Rothkranz Heal your face on youtube

I'm considering getting the ordinary caffeine eye cream, and the inkey list retinol eye cream. Would you recommend either for AM or PM? Can I use them both daily (and if so, in which order?) My current process is: cleanse, tone, eye cream, moisturize, SPF if I'm actually leaving the house. Thanks!!

My sister and I have had itty bitty milia under our eyes since we were little girls, as well as a purple line under our bottom lash line. I’ve tired some eye creams but they just moisturize the area but don’t treat the issues.

    Some of these recommended products have silicones- like cyclopentasiloxane, and trimethicone :( silicones create a temporary illusion of a slippery moisture barrier on the skin, but actually dry the skin and trap debris under it. hard to remove. I won't be getting the gold eye mask or Green level eye cream..I'm just very picky. I love my natural skin products like from Labruna and Solavedi. Can you review them? Good video though.
