Fantastic builds! Also respect how you reply back to everyone. I've seen so many channels smaller and even around the same size as you never reply to people
Great video! And also, here are some alternative bad fun builds such as: - A Dragoon with two spears that can haste themselves. - A melee Mystic who Doublehands their quarterstaff and does martial arts. - An Archer who employs time magic to ensure they're always out of range. - A Squire bandit (only uses knives/guns, has steal, poach or equip gun) - A Samurai who does ying yang magics(Mystic for that eastern feel. - Ramza as a Squire/Chemist for the entire run since he technically is never knighted.
Last night I got right before the end of Chapter 1. This is when I start grinding classes out, THEN I can "play the game" 😂 2:09 Hilariously enough, that's exactly what I just did to win that fight, spam "Bolt 2"
In 2023... My man, this is still useful for a game of it's time. I recently picked it up and I was already having a hard time in the early game. Damage feels high at times and losing units suuuuucks. Thank you!
@@woodyisafag4575 Hey, good point. This is the first time I see his video pop on my feed so it didn't immediately cross my mind. Dude does deserve a sub.
It works out really well. And if you love FFT a lot or ever in the mood you can start by just emulating it now, just back up your disc or UMD and emulate it. Awesome way to replay it
Glad to see some Megaman X fans out there! I try and throw in tracks from games I also like to play. I've been honestly really surprised on how some people know at least from certain games I'm into
@J7Jase MMX5 was the first one in the series that I played, never beat it (the final Stage was Brutal asf, Shadow Devil broke teenage me) but I still have good memories of it. Though MMX4 was my introduction series
I think, in my own personal opinion and experience .. there is 2-3 classes I prefer .. Bard & Dancer, for speedier JP gains, as well as helping with the enemies. Second, used Sing/Dance while unlocking the Arithmetic, because they are able to cast more spells without having to wait. With that said, I would like to hear your opinions, however I doubt I’ll keep track ..
Ramza is also the best (possibly only?) character to use the full potential of the samurai skills. Iaido is a great skillset for him. I'm a huge fan of samurai main with secondary black magic, just for some variety
Idk how good it really is, but 1 build I always try to get him to before the end of chapter 3 is simply a nunja with brawler. Trivializes the Wiegraf fight, though his transformation is still a headache. Then basicly ohkos Elmdore.
I mention that build in the video. Its better than Monk in my opinion because of higher speed and base move. It can work vs Elmdore but I rather just go after the Assassins. Elmdore has First Strike/Hamedo with 70 Bravery.
@@J7Jase Great minds think alike. I kid i kid, you obviously put more thought into these kind of things. That brawler ninja build was just something i came up with ages ago on a half baked whim. I still have a few kinks to work out in my overall builds/strategies.
Nice builds, but for magic I like summoner with Calc sub job and teleport. Most maps u can teleport to locations u can't be hit and reign down supremacy from above. It's God tier and a good choice for ramza solo playthrough but takes heavy grinding to master multiple job classes. Can also make a near invincible build after chapter 4 I think? Ramza as a geomancer with 100% defense and over 75% magic defense so pretty much anything they hit u with is nullified
Why Summoner though? Black Mage has more MA when you are in the job and teleport it depends on move rate and summoner and black mage have 3 base move. The summoner sprite does look cool though. It depends on how you want to tackle a Ramza solo playthrough. I just like using his unique Squire abilities with auto potion.
I honestly never even heard of the "grind Gaffgarion into a Ninja" before, that sounds like pure hell grinding to 99 but I guess Berserked Frogs could do most of the work, with 1 unit monitoring and keeping HP up from everyone and the last enemy...maybe with an emulator this is actually feasible since you can speed the game up. Was really funny to see Ramza with a Chaos Blade in chapter 2 fights ^^
Thanks so much! yeah it is annoying and it can take some RNG too and hassle in the next fight as most of the time ninja swords will just one hit KO Ovelia and you need to level him up slowly to throw excalibur, ragnarok and then chaos blades lol. The damage is fun and great lol
@@J7Jase yeah I didn't even consider the actual mission of protecting Ovelia...guess you need to "fence off" Gaffgarion by surrounding him but at the same time gotta kill all the Knights, Agrias and Delita so they don't interfere? Maybe on my next playthrough I'll try this but omg this sounds very annoying :D
I have a video on it. th-cam.com/video/UmPwvSdOmEE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fy6-oOtIuEOgeD3M But in short use Steel/Cheer up with Ramza to increase Bravery and learn Preach from the Orator to increase Faith. Just don't go past 94 Faith in other characters as they will leave the party.
For the solo Wiegraf fight, use chameleon robe and first strike, and he will basically kill himself. The brawling ninja is good early/mid game, but eventually using attack up and 2 swords is going to put pace it. I would love to see a full video on the gafgarrion trick. Grinding to 99, and getting enough Jp spill over from 5-6 classes in just 2 battles seems like an insane amount of grinding, and no one seems to talk about it. How long would this actually take?
He will sometimes use Shockwave and Aurablast which will work around First Strike and his second phase is something people need to worry about too. If Bravery is high enough Fists will do more damage but I still prefer late game Knight Swords because of things like Regen. That would take a long time to do not to mention edit. Easily over 15 hours, to get the proper clips, grind etc
its boring too, but it works i rather do cooky builds like my medusa run...(kill all by petrify ) of course those immune need to be get rid of in less elegant ways
J7Jase, do you consider equipping the Chamelon Robe as cheating? I personally never do it, cause it feels like it robs the thrill of the Wiegraf battle. Though I can see why a first timer probably would need it. You should do a special video showing Belias's stats and all his dangerous moves. I used a Kiyomori and put Magic Def up on all my characters and he still did 180 damage with his Clops summon. Absolutely unreal damage. He does 525 damage x target faith/100. So If a character has 50 faith, his Clops does about 262 damage.
I do consider it cheating in a way but it is also one of the best ways to defeat Wiegraf why its in this video. If it wasn't I wouldn't have put best lol. I don't know the stats he has at the top of my head 1000 HP, but I do have an ability showcase video for him. I also did a Dark Solo where he just runs up to me and physically attacks me too lol. Yeah it does a lot of damage lol. I also want to say that if you have Taurus and Capricorn he will also deal more damage too so that is another factor.
@@J7Jase I've play through FFT countless times and I don't think any other boss or "story" battle enemy does that much damage with an attack, outside of Hashmalum's Meteor or Elidib's Zodiac. Guess that's what make the battle so legendary. Regardless, excellent video as always!
