Little tip from someone trained in combat casualty care, unwrap the items, seconds count. When stressed out, you don't need to be fumbling with wrapping. If you're concerned about waterproofing, a quart sized zip lock bag will fit everything there. As well as the zip lock can become useful in other ways from sealing a sucking chest wound to holding or even condensating water in a survival situation.
